I underwent cryotherapy body contouring at Healing Waters in January 2026 and developed a large…read morecircular area of hyperpigmentation on my abdomen following treatment. Initially, I was told the discoloration was normal bruising and was advised to use a bruise cream. I was also told it would likely resolve within a few weeks. However, the mark remains visible five months later. What has been most disappointing is not simply that a complication occurred, as I understand every cosmetic procedure carries risks. My concern is that there was no meaningful discussion beforehand about the possibility of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and when the discoloration persisted, I was not provided with a clear treatment plan, timeline, refund, or other corrective action. I reached out multiple times, provided photographs, and expressed concern about the persistence of the pigmentation. While I received reassurance that the area was healing, I was not given specific recommendations beyond continued observation. The discoloration has improved somewhat but remains noticeable. Had I been fully informed that a visible mark could persist for five months or longer, I would have weighed my decision differently. I hope that by January (a year later) my scar will resolve. I additionally had paid for 6 colonics upfront but have been hesitant about returning. They have not reached out or followed up with me whatsoever. It's a loss and I feel insecure about this. I encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions about the risks of pigmentation changes, expected recovery timelines, and what support is available if complications occur.

I appreciated seeing the cleaning process that each room goes through, they take extra care making sure everything is sanitized. The sauna was facing the smart tv so you are able to watch YouTube or even connect to play music. The sauna was warm enough to really make us sweat, but not too dry or hot that it was difficult to breath. The vitamin C shower was very relaxing and I do feel it helped my hair and skin. I also tried the cold plunge I must admit I did struggle to stay in the water for an extended period of time, but I do think if I continue to go I'll be able to improve my time. I would recommend this as an activity for anyone no matter fitness level. I would also think it would be good also for someone who has a very physical job. They offer multiple packages monthly as well as a 5 visit package. (The 5 visits you have 5 or 6 months to use them) Looking forward to checking them out again in the near future.

After about 3 months there was no follow-up or communication. In their last text, they said if I wasn't happy I could do more (??? Why try more of something that is not working?). I have just accepted the huge loss but I'd caution others in terms of doing so much at such a high cost for nothing (other than an incredibly swollen and painful face for about 3 weeks). I'm only giving them 2 stars because they helped me get in the car after the treatment since I was quite sick after so much poking.

I googled chiropractic care in the area and found Archetype had good reviews. Booked an appointment for the next day figuring I had nothing to lose by getting treatment, I was just hoping to be able to ride in a cart and cheer on my buddies and didn't really expect to play anymore golf on the trip. I found Archetype to be a very professional health care establishment. Dr. John (Palmer) and his staff spent approximately 90+ minutes using various techniques on my back. I was still sore that evening, but seemed to be a little more comfortable. The next morning I woke up feeling really good. I was able to play 36 holes that day, carefully of course, but without pain. The following day I comfortably played another round. Dr. John's work was nothing short of miraculous, I'm so fortunate to have found Archetype, saved my golf trip for sure!
