My wife at her first session, now she's "Hooked"!

The staff and facilities are excellent! My wife and I are hooked, we really enjoy our time at the range and look forward to spending more time there. Reasonable prices and great instruction make it a pleasure going there.

What a hidden gem in Queens. The place was clean, compliant with Covid vaccine checks and the staff was friendly. We came here with a group of 8 and had a great time. Our instructor Martin gave a thorough, yet quick lesson after we checked in. All of us were beginners but with Martin's help, we were up and running after the lesson. There's a lot of rules, but all are in place to keep you and others around you safe. The hour long lesson is $30 (cash only) and includes the 15 minute lesson and rentals. It went by so fast! I definitely want to come back!

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would everytime. BROOO I just left, this IS FIREE. Christian was our attendant and instructor and he was amazing both as an instructor and an archer, adding to the overall experience, cheap easy and fast learning sessions and an amazing experience for my first time. 15/10, didnt wanna leave this review because I didn't wanna let ya know of this fire spot but 12/10

I have been here two times and I love this place. Both times I went, I used the Groupon. It was super easy to use and simple to follow the directions. The area is in Flushing/ Bayside. Some people might have an issue with the area because it's not so upscale, but it's really easy to find parking if you drive. If you didn't, then you can take the bus. There's also a lot of great food places around. It is a very Korean neighborhood so I suggest looking around Yelp for recommendations. This place is not that big when you go in. There are two range areas where they hold different classes. Since I got the Groupon, I took a class with around 28 other people. I kind of wish that they wouldn't cram so many people into one class. If everyone makes it into the class, you are almost touching elbows. The classes are fun and you start out pretty close to the targets. You shoot with your partner taking turns. When everyone has gotten a handle of how to shoot, you move back so that the targets are further away. It was a bit slow, but they were beginner classes. It takes a while for everyone to learn and the instructors are very thorough with safety instructions. I would highly suggest taking the beginners classes if you have never shot a bow and arrow before. I would love to come again on my own time before the classes start and just practice. With your own bow and arrow, it is only $15/hr. With rentals, it is $25/hr.

My 9 year old son came home from school and randomly says that he'd like to try archery. I assume something was discussed in school. After a quick search on line, I came across Queens Archery. I called around 11 am and the gentleman I spoke with confirmed he had open slots for the afternoon. We arrived 2pm. There is only street parking so you'll have to work that out. We walked in to a greeting and was asked to sign in. We sat briefly and observed some of the archers. Our coach gave us a tutorial on the the equipment and the use of it. He also covered the rules of the range. Once we finished we were underway. We donned our coffers and loaded the arrows. We lined up with the other archers and fired away. My son had a great time. I have to admit. So did I. The competitive juices begin to flow and I really tried to tighten my shot group and hit the bullseye. Great place to spend time with the kids or just take a moment to your self.

Went to queens archery for my birthday. I didn't know what to expect, but instructor James made the lesson very enjoyable. He was humorous and allowed for me and the other people attending the lesson to get rid of our anxiety when shooting a bow. The one on one pep talk made the lesson unique when he used the data from our shots and made us look like superstars after giving us advice to improve. This place, for the convenient location and the accommodating staff, is definitely worth a second visit.

Because of the movie Hunger Games we wanted to try Archery. Zozi and Livingsocial offered coupons for two introduction lesson to archery. The class was 90 minutes of group lesson and it was great! If you hunger for a bow & arrow, look for the discount and give it a "shot." It was a blast! We had Mike for the lesson. He is great. Rate 5/5. The Zozi coupon is valid only Saturday and Sunday after 4pm.

We both live in Flushing near Main St., so NYISC was a perfect place for us to travel to. The club inside was spacious and clean. Some of the staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and gave us a thorough and in-depth description of all the membership services and fees for ping pong games/coaching. The actual tables are professional-grade, and there are actually plenty of them spread throughout an enormous indoor facility. I liked the feel of the high ceilings while I played (or at least ATTEMPTED to play haha). Even though this place was popular on a weeknight around 7-8pm, the size of the facility didn't make me feel cramped. Checking out the rest of NYISC, I saw an indoor soccer field - which is a rare sight in a place such as Flushing. I don't play soccer, but I would recommend this space for soccer teams and friends looking to play a match or serious game. My boyfriend and I also wandered to the 'Pro Shop' in the sports club. They sold all different professional ping pong products from brands such as Butterfly (famous ping pong product manufacturer). We didn't purchase anything, but I did sign up for private lessons with one of the renowned & accomplished coaches. The pricing was for a set of 10 lessons and were more than affordable. The coaches were all world ranked, and have competed in Olympics, etc. Maybe one day I'll be able to at least keep up in a game with my boyfriend, lol. LAST THING: People here are very open and friendly. If you come on a weeknight like us or a weekend, there will always be staff to help you and fellow players/students to meet/interact with :) One person saw my extreme lack of ping-pong skills and kindly helped me out a bit the first time I came to NYISC -___- lols I will definitely be returning

However, I…read moream incredulous and very disappointed by Nino's response to my call today about using the $850 gift voucher for 10 personal training sessions my husband bought me a year ago for my birthday. Unfortunately, due to several personal circumstances which I shared with him, I was unable to use the gift. The extenuating circumstances included my father's death and dealing with the Estate business, my being the primary caretaker for my 96 year old mom, my having COVID, then pneumonia for 2 months, injured ribs, a hip injury, and 2 tumors on my neck and spine. etc. Nino was cold, lacked empathy and understanding and stated that he was unable to provide the service because the voucher had "expired". He added that "the best he could do" was to honor 4 sessions if I was committed to paying for 10 more. So, instead of getting what was already paid for, I would end up spending money for another 10 sessions. He kept repeating that this was their "policy" and couldn't make any exceptions. He is in charge, so I don't understand how he couldn't make an "Executive Decision ". Nino was unable to give me any logical, valid explanation for how his business would be negatively impacted by providing a service that was paid for. If I had made appointments and did not show up, he would have a valid argument. However, this was not the case. So Nino finds it perfectly acceptable and logical to take people's hard-earned money, and keep it, without providing the service by hiding behind a so called "policy", which my husband nor I ever received in any written contract at the time of purchase. This demonstrates a lack of integrity and it is apparent that the wellness of his clients do not come first. I also read his response to the unhappy "Groupon class" reviewer where he stated that he believes "people should get what they pay for". This was obviously a courteous, obligatory response. Nino... actions speak louder than words!
