I read the positive reviews and tried to give this place a shot. Wasn't a great experience. My guy kept messing up my powder gel manicure. He told me it was dry and it wasn't. He was in such a rush. I have never had a gel powder manicure like this before. Everyone else was given a shoulder massage but me. They didn't cut or push back my cuticles and he didn't use any cuticle cutter or cut the dead skin around my nails. It was strictly painting and that's it! Won't be back!! I know there are a few bad reviews for this place and I chose not to believe them. My mistake.

Love this place. This is my second time here and I've had great experiences both times. My spa pedicure was really good, with great massage, I was falling asleep. I also got an SNS French manicure which came out beautiful!

This is the second time that I've gone to Queen Nails. I did not like the first time BUT I was in a rush and they were the closest. I did not have an appointment but they do take walk-in's. She told me that it wouldn't be long. It turned out to be a 20 min wait. I chose one of their long lasting nail polishes that you have to pay $2 extra for. I was seated in the pedicure chair and decided to go with the $29 spa pedicure. It included a weak 10 min massage and NO callus treatment. Most establishments in the area include that in their spa treatments. Anyhow...on to the manicure which is where the low rating comes into play. The lady took the tools she used to cut my cuticles, wiped them off with the washcloth she used on my hands and placed them back in the container. I hoped that these containers would be sanitized. I started observing what was going on around me and nope...no sanitizing of the tools. When I came on YELP to see the reviews, I saw that I wasn't the only one noticing the lack of hygiene. Once you start really looking around, you will see how dusty, dirty, and dingy this place is. I gave Queen nails a second chance this time around . The first I went to Queen Nails, I was impressed by how long my pedicure lasted but I had to argue with the lady to cut my cuticles so I wasn't exactly pleased with my experience. Regardless, I gave them a second chance. This time my pedicure with the long lasting polish chipped (middle toe) 4 days in. The picture is 6 days in and as you can see the long lasting paint is cracking. You can also see the discrepancies in the layers of the application. Don't waste your time here. Plenty of other nail salons in the area that are cleaner and provide a more pleasant experience.

I've been coming to Queen Nails for a few months now. Every time I have gotten the SNS manicure and I have been happy every time! The manicure lasts 3-4 weeks with no problem! They have an amazing selection of colors and take walk ins. They do tend to get busy on the weekends so I would recommend making an appointment. Kevin is AMAZING so I highly recommend making your appointment with him.

Ive been going here for a few years now and i love this place. Ruby is always my go to but if she is unavailable the others are great too. I get sns coffin shaped nails and they always come out amazing! Im surprised this place has so many bad reviews.

Soon as we walked in for our 3 pm appointment , I can see we were being rushed to pick a color and to decide on what we wanted to get . I had to ABRUPTLY tell them in their own language NO RUSH , please DONT RUSH US . It's only 15 seconds of us trying to decide . Moving forward We had decided and sat down for the technician to begin , the technician was handed a picture which she stared at for 1 hour while doing the nails , and can u believe that this lady had the audacity to tell me that she's the best in the shop , no one's going to do the design better and I'm thinking she's blind ! even the guy there was being very dismissive about the situation ! I'm showing them the picture and comparing it to the work that was done and they're looking at me like I'm trying to rob them for a free manicure . So now I'm dealing with 1 them not even bothering to look at their mistakes 2 me giving them the opportunity to look at the proof thats right in front of em 3 having to see my daughter rush to the bathroom come back out with wiped off tears & discomfort now sitting in her soul cause she's 60% satisfied that it doesn't look like she wanted , 4 still dealing w pleading to have this fixed and then 5 to be treated like some illiterate or crazy quickly being dismissed That's gotta be some type of profiling / low key racism / hate crime happening so I didn't wanna cause a scene but I let it be known of all the mistakes that were made and how it's not OK to treat customers like this && still was refused w a solution . The technicians suggestion was She'd rather take off the nails & for us to leave with no pay . I said no ma'am I'm going to pay for these nails cause I have the money in full , I'm not looking for a bargain ; just do a retouch or like suggested on taking them off but just do them all over && I was REFUSED ! ! Their response was me being told over and over that it can't be fixed in anyway but they can take off the nails WITHOUT doing the job all over THAT WE CAN LEAVE exactly how we came . WOW that's when I knew that this place was garbage / scam They knew they messed up , saw and took the opportunity to take advantage of a single dad with his daughter. I was dying to make things right and walk out the door. Of course I paid in full cause I'm not that type of guy but I had to experience the most legal robbery ever . I should've saw the signs at first cause While waiting for my kids nails to be done I got a 1hour foot massage and COMMUNITY let me take the time to give you my thanks for reading this far but wait until I explain this other experience ! I'm the type of guy that this whole nail salon scenery stuff is new to me . So I'm intrigued by the massage chairs and the foot rub but I'm looking over occasionally as to see what my daughters up to . So everytime I look over there was always a technician walking passed my daughters chair , we can assume they were busy but not once did any of them consider to tell my daughter , that her jacket fell on the floor . I counted 5 times a technician walked passed her without saying anything about her jacket but I ended up asking my foot rubber to please ask someone to pick up the coat , it fell on 2 occasions and I asked on both for their hospitality so thank you ma'am I should've tipped her she was nice enough to pick it up but ehh not that great at rubbing . why does QUEENS NAILS AT MAHOPAC NY gotta give a first time customer such a bad experience . Come on ladies you can agree that this isn't a 75 to 135$ worth job .

I'm not sure why this place has two stars I've been going here for years and never had any issues! Everyone is friendly and takes care of you in a timely manner. I've gotten gel, SNS, acrylic, and mani/pedis here!

Was not exactly happy with my experience here... They charged me $70 for a gel set and extra $5 for coffin shape, which is about $15 more than i usually pay for my sets. The staff seemed rude and unfriendly... Also when I walked out I realized the the underneath of my nails were all gunked up with powder and stuff that she couldn't take the time to clean. The nail shape and work itself are good.. first two pics are as soon as a i walked out, third is after i cleaned them.

I've been searching for a local place that do sns nails that LAST. I've seen Wendy 3 times now and every time she's done an amazing job. I'm hooked
