After they got new owners, it's been the worst. I've been coming here for almost 10years and the new staff are not it. My mother and I came here to get pedicures and one set of nails for myself. The guy in charge wouldn't want to work. Apparently he was the only one that day able to do gel x nails but he ended up telling his staff to tell me to come tomorrow for a different employee. I would understand if it was busy but this day was dead! He was just on his phone and sitting in the massage chair. My mom and I just got our pedicures and left. We only stayed because we got helped by someone we been knowing forever. Besides us getting our service done, there was an older lady asking me for help translating. I was more than happy to help. The employee helping her was very rude and seemed like she was annoyed. The point is to give customer their desired nail design. The older lady asked me to tell the employee if she can add a design on her nail, which I let the employee know. The employee was not answering me; and the guy who was doing nothing was just interfering with me. Nobody was giving me an answer if they are able to do the design. I just started to state if anybody is gonna give their customer what she is asking for since nobody is saying anything. Once it was time to pay, the guy was so quick getting up and charging. I'm borderline in tears right now! I came in for the first time in months (I have a baby and a full time job) to get my nails and pedicure done, and these people take zero pride in their work! My pedicure was 20 and my manicure was 25, so I don't think this cheap prices and I expect having a nice result in the end! My nails are uneven, bumpy, and the gel coating is so thick that my fingers feel stuck to my nails. I can not begin to describe how upset I am! I have been here two times already. This place is very spacious from the inside. From the moment you go in you get greeted by the manager or employees. They will ask you what service would you be needing. Before you even take a seat they will ask you to pick a nail polish color so you could be all set and ready with that. It's been a couple of days since I got my nails done at this place and I've been contemplating on writing this post since my nails look fine. They are not the best as you can see some space between my skin and where the actual paint starts on my nails. Anyway what really bothered me about this place was the service. When I first arrived they told me that the wait was going to be about 10mins because I was going to be next after someone else got their nails done so I waited. It had been more than ten minutes and the nail technician was not done with the woman before me which is understandable I would hate to be rushed...the thing that pisses me off is that after she was done they took a person who came in after me and who did not have an appointment. I told them they had told me I was next and all they said was "sorry we forgot". Next when I was getting my nails done, I was getting gel manicure, the technician did one nail at a time!!! Usually what they do for gel is they paint the whole hand and then make you put your hand under the light. Having to do one nail at a time was VERY annoying plus the technician said to me "I hate this color" which is fine I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions but I don't think it's very customer service friendly to say that to your customers. Anyway I don't know if I will be coming back here maybe for an emergency since it's close to my house but I doubt it. read more
