Convenient location in Sawtelle, pretty good prices, but the price raised from the other menu photos on Yelp fyi. I needed a simple plain pedicure, it costed $20, the total costs an extra dollar if you use card. The nail tech was kind and did a good job. There wasn't too much hospitality otherwise.

I thought this place was only ok but because the prices are cheaper than others in the area, I bumped it to 4 stars. I walked in around 3pm and got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure ($46). I was seen immediately and given a box of colors to choose from. One lady did my hands while another did my feet (wish I asked for their names!). They were fast and efficient. We didn't speak much to each other, which was totally fine! It took about an hour. I paid via credit card and left. This place is no frills, and their prices accordingly match it. Don't come here if you're looking for a super luxurious, personable, and relaxing experience, but if you just want your nails to look good and to be in and out, this is the place for you.

    2 days after gel mani

I got a gel manicure on 7/12 and this is what it looks like today, 7/14. I have been on a business trip so I've done no housework, barely been on my computer, etc. so I've arguably put less wear on them than usual. The manicure itself was very rushed and two cuticles were also completely bloodied on day one. On the other hand, I've had a couple good manicures here in the past too so moral of the story, the place is very hit or miss. If you do come here, my advice is to make note of a nail tech you like and only ask for that person and definitely make note of who you DON'T like and make sure you don't get that person.

The staff is great owner is very unwelcoming and after coming here for 15 years I was treated so poorly today we're Victoria refused to service me any further and told me I wasn't welcome back all because my nail had bumps in the gel x process. This was due to the staff not allowing me to wash my hands after buffing my nails and filling. This is no way to be treated , very disappointed won't be coming back Do not wax here the owner double dips the sticks after it touched your skin . Very illegal I always see the owner and manager pouring acetone to the nail Polish which is actually very toxic. They do this so that your nail chips quickly and you return. The acetone acts as a paint thinner. Do your research guys

    Gel-X new set - it's a perfect Winter Wonderland!

I took Mom in today for our regular bi-weekly visit, but there was nothing "ordinary" about my nails today! I had a BIG request for Cindy. A client of mine came in with Insta-gorgeous nails and I wanted a new set of Gel-X in the same style. She professionally and gently removed my acrylics (while I was getting my great gel pedi in the spa chair) and then she proceeded to create the most stunning Winter Wonderland look ever! Even though the salon was super busy, every single nail artist was patient and kind towards all their clients, whether they were walk-ins or long time repeat customers. Thank you ladies!

Queen Nails has been a Westside gem for years. I don't know why it took me so long to get here! My friend has been a long-time customer and brought me one day. It's easy to make an appointment. They take you on time. No waiting! And the ladies always do a fantastic job. Mia and Tina, especially! Prices are reasonable, the salon is clean and they have quite a selection of gel colors. I can see why they always have a steady stream of clients!

I've been searching for a solid regular manicure in LA for so long and this is the one! Quick, cheap, kind, in a fun location. Make sure to support by paying in cash-- credit cards and Venmo have fees so pay cash if you're able! My mani pedi is perfect and was $30!

    Manicure (Regular Nail Polish)

I came here as a walk in and Kim did my pedicure and prepped my finger nails for my manicure. Kim was a delight! She was talking to me about her sons and was being overall very friendly. I loved her energy and I definitely felt welcomed by her. She did amazing. I loved my experience here. Regular Manicure and Pedicure was around $37 cash not including tip but $38 if paying with card. I heard one of them tell me that Gel Manicure and regular Pedicure was $50 something. And if I wanted Gel Mani & Gel Pedi it would've been $70 something. I got the regular mani and pedi but it looks amazing! :)

Cindy did an amazing job with my gel x I showed her a picture of what I wanted and committed to making sure I was happy and it looked just like the picture thank you Cindy

Acrylic fill with gel polish -- pretty much identical to the reference photo :)

Acrylic fill with gel polish. Victoria was able to squeeze me in and suggested a soft pink on top of the funny bunny color which I requested to better match the reference photo. Result was almost identical to the photo I showed them!

Hieu (pronounced "Hugh") is the only one I trust with my gel manicures, and Cindy is my favorite for a thorough pedicure. She is seriously excellent at callus removal and massages. The first very nice woman clearly had zero clue how to do dip glitter (which I explained at the front exactly what I was wanting to do, which I have done here before). Cut to two hours later this woman (not her fault, she didn't have the right experience and also couldn't understand what I was saying) had taken a very, very long time to do a semi-simple job. The lovely man who took over for her and completely erased everything she did for two hours was their normal efficiency. But because they didn't have the time, the job is completely botched. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful he did it, but I also did not want to be sitting there for 3.5 hours for something that would have taken the second man 1 hour to do. It's been 3 hours and my nails are peeling. If you can't do something, then don't say you'll do it. Worse yet, if someone spends two hours literally ruining a customers nails - the next person who does it better have the time to fix it correctly, and you should be mindful to make sure it's done correctly. Or say come back some other time? I'm not sure. But what I'm sure of is today was a complete waste of my day, time, probably theirs as well, and I paid full price and got a very poor result. Been coming here for years and not sure I will come back. I adore the guy who jumped and fervently "fixed" a very poor job... but he also very clearly didn't finish it well. And I wasn't happy about sitting through watching the botched job either, so it was never a favor For reference - the mint is what I left with today after 3.5 hours, which is now peeling. And not sparkling. And not properly sealed because the second time around was insanely rushed. The pink/blue/purple was the same glitter in March. Took one of their artists 1 hour at most, stayed for weeks, and wasn't $90. Inconsistent.

The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and has such a calm, welcoming vibe -- you can actually unwind instead of feeling rushed or herded through like an assembly line. She took her time, made sure everything was shaped perfectly, and didn't cut corners at all. You can tell she really cares about her work and takes pride in what she does. My nails came out flawless -- clean, precise, and exactly what I wanted (honestly even better). On top of that, she's so sweet and easy to talk to, which just makes the whole experience even better. Once Annie saw me, she worked as quickly as possible which I appreciated but unfortunately my experience was already soured by then. I decided to give them another try and came back for gel x removal and builder gel. Unfortunately, they were overly aggressive with the removal and filed my nails paper thin. Now I am dealing with a deep and painful break in my nail (even with builder gel, which is supposed to make your nails stronger). I learned my lesson and will stick to my usual salon as they care more about preserving your nail health.

Most gel nail places are way too harsh in your nails, and I was looking for a more non-toxic approach. I am not a fan of the soak off removal approach, as my nails become brittle. The way she works is very zen-like. She keeps her tools very neatly in one place, she is very resourceful, she is very quiet and smooth with her movements. She took extra time to make sure my nail art was good as it can be. The reason why I give 3 stars is because although she is very talented, she lacks in basic nail skills. Initially I was very happy with my white ombré nails but I noticed my cuticles weren't as smooth as they typically would have been if I had gone to my usual spot. I remember noticing that my cuticles weren't cut and Kazumi told me that cutting cuticles would dry them out more. Sadly, as the day went on I was stressing out and the next day I had to get my cuticles fixed right before of my wedding at another salon. The technician actually told me that my nails "looked terrible." I am sure Kazumi gives great work to other clients, but I was disappointed and I don't know if I will come back. My cuticles aren't always in the best shape (I'm a healthcare worker) but I expect at least they would've been cleaned up better considering the $50+ I spent and the fact that my nails were going to be photographed up close for my wedding.
