I got a regular polish manicure. They did warn me that my nails may break and urged me to get gel, so it was partially on me. Further, edges were not well smoothed, there were MANY air bubbles . In addition, the woman that did my nails looked at the lengths and decided it was "good enough" (there was QUITE a visible difference). After four days, I had one nail cracked in the pink part, and 4 more additional broken nails. Due to how much she shaved off + breakage, here is my nail length (1 inch of natural nail that took 2 months to grow gone). Will not come back, or cheat on my nails looked artist again :( read more

I called ahead to get my nails and toes done and waited after arriving, only for the nail technician to start removing and filing off my French tip before telling me she could not do my nails. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I spent my time waiting just to be turned away after the service had already started. If you were unable to provide the service, that should have been communicated before touching my nails. I will be reporting this experience to the board because customers deserve better communication, professionalism, and respect for their time. read more

Called made an appointment. They took me about 10 minutes after as they were busy. The salon has a restroom, a waxing room, pedicure chairs with massage features, about 8 nail stations and it's sanitary. The only salon who ice seen openly using an autoclave to disinfect their tools. Went in for a gel x set and eyebrow waxing and was out in about an hour. The tech who did my nails was really kind I wish I could recall her name, but she did a great job. Cindy waxed me and I was very happy with my brows. Parking is available at meters out front and around the block. Limited free residential parking and a pay to park lot just behind the business. read more

Awful. Front desk is rude. They charge you extra to sit in the massage chair vs a foldable chair with your feet in a bucket. They will look for any reason to charge more for something AND my gel nail chipped on the second day. I didn't even go back and ask for it to be fixed because it was such a poor experience. read more

I've been here a few times but this last visit I got fungus on two different nails under my hard gel manicure after only a week. I've been getting my nails done for years and this has never happened. I wouldn't recommend I would hate for this to happen to someone else! read more

I am so pleased that I found queen nails Victoria and Cindy are the best, they do a perfect gel X, my nails have looked beautiful in the past year that I've been going there. I thought this place was only ok but because the prices are cheaper than others in the area, I bumped it to 4 stars. I walked in around 3pm and got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure ($46). I was seen immediately and given a box of colors to choose from. One lady did my hands while another did my feet (wish I asked for their names!). They were fast and efficient. We didn't speak much to each other, which was totally fine! It took about an hour. I paid via credit card and left. This place is no frills, and their prices accordingly match it. Don't come here if you're looking for a super luxurious, personable, and relaxing experience, but if you just want your nails to look good and to be in and out, this is the place for you. read more

Great quality for the price. You're not coming here for a luxurious perfect manicure but Victoria was very sweet and got my gel-x done in about an hour while also maintaining a good eye for detail. Nails have been on for almost 3 weeks now with no lifting, would definitely go back. read more

The staff is great owner is very unwelcoming and after coming here for 15 years I was treated so poorly today we're Victoria refused to service me any further and told me I wasn't welcome back all because my nail had bumps in the gel x process. This was due to the staff not allowing me to wash my hands after buffing my nails and filling. This is no way to be treated , very disappointed won't be coming back Do not wax here the owner double dips the sticks after it touched your skin . Very illegal I always see the owner and manager pouring acetone to the nail Polish which is actually very toxic. They do this so that your nail chips quickly and you return. The acetone acts as a paint thinner. Do your research guys read more

I got a gel manicure on 7/12 and this is what it looks like today, 7/14. I have been on a business trip so I've done no housework, barely been on my computer, etc. so I've arguably put less wear on them than usual. The manicure itself was very rushed and two cuticles were also completely bloodied on day one. On the other hand, I've had a couple good manicures here in the past too so moral of the story, the place is very hit or miss. If you do come here, my advice is to make note of a nail tech you like and only ask for that person and definitely make note of who you DON'T like and make sure you don't get that person. read more

I took Mom in today for our regular bi-weekly visit, but there was nothing "ordinary" about my nails today! I had a BIG request for Cindy. A client of mine came in with Insta-gorgeous nails and I wanted a new set of Gel-X in the same style. I came here as a walk in and Kim did my pedicure and prepped my finger nails for my manicure. Kim was a delight! She was talking to me about her sons and was being overall very friendly. I loved her energy and I definitely felt welcomed by her. She did amazing. I loved my experience here. Regular Manicure and Pedicure was around $37 cash not including tip but $38 if paying with card. I heard one of them tell me that Gel Manicure and regular Pedicure was $50 something. And if I wanted Gel Mani & Gel Pedi it would've been $70 something. They do a great job with nails here. I've been coming here for the last 5 months or so, and i've been pleased every time--sometimes even shocked with how long the polish lasts on my nails. They do non-spa pedicures at these tables as well for a cheaper price and still the same quality. They put in a plastic covering for all pedicures, great for being sanitary! You can get a color change for $7, a manicure for $12, and a mani-pedi for $23. It's a steal in terms of getting your nails done for the quality they do. I use regular nail polish and it lasts usually about a full week without chipping at all (and I am very active). They use a gel top coat to finish it off without the UV radiation for drying it, which I think helps with not chipping. It is a pretty small nail salon, and not super clean given the building is older. They have 4 spa style seats and then 8-10ish tables for manicures. If you can go during the "working day" it is not busy, but after about 5pm or on the weekend it can be busy and there may be a 20 minute wait. I recommend calling and making an appointment ahead of time if you are going during busier hours. WAXING: They do have a room in the back for waxing. Very affordable pricing especially if you compare it to the specialized wax studios, it can be 50% less here, and they do a good job. Underarms are $10, and the tweeze anything left over. PARKING: There is metered parking out front and on the side street. There is also a public lot behind the salon that charges $1/hour. If you drive further down the side street there is free 2 hour parking by the apartments; however, read the signs because there is street sweeping somedays of the week. The employees are really sweet and if your meter is running out, they will go put money in for you! read more

Nails had dirt underneath them after they were finished, I told her and she cleaned them up, but overall this was one of the least thorough manicures I've ever had. She used silver nail polish instead of rhinestones even after I said I didn't mind that they wouldn't last long. It's just weird silver clusters on my nails now, not the look I was going for at all. I think they look sloppy and uneven. I really regret coming here today. 0 stars. I'm going home and getting the acetone out. read more

I have been coming here with my daughter as well as my mom for years now , however I will No more !!! They have become aggressively rude & just plain annoying!! I have not seen Victoria there for my last few visits , she is the only one person there that would smile & actually acknowledge you !! The other lady / I don't know her name but she sits in the front and answers the phones too is Just the rudest / unwelcoming person I have seen in a while now ... I figured there are many many other mail places and I would just take our business else where ... I just refuse to feel this way and be treated the way they treat their clients !!! read more

Absolutely loved this nail salon! You can tell that the place does good work because it was completely packed when I visited. All the nail technicians were so friendly. They are super efficient, but do amazing work too. Constantly checked in to see if I was satisfied/happy. I'm not really good at picking colors, so I just showed them an inspiration pic and they were able to nail it (pun intended :))! Furthermore, their prices were beyond reasonable. Yesterday was my first time coming to this nail salon. Someone close recommended me this place and everyone there was nice and prices are reasonable. However, the quality was not what I expected. I got a gel manicure and pedicure but as soon as I left and got in my car, one of my nails was chipped. When I got home I saw that more of my nails were getting chipped. After all I was disappointed at the end of the day. Usually gel manicure's last a while if you take really good care of them and I was doing just that. read more

I've been wanting to find a different place as the quality of service is no longer worth the price here (the gel polish chips easily), but I was willing to give them another try when I learned that Tina works here and I was excited for the change! Sadly, today was the last day I will be coming. The cuticles on my left, middle finger were cut carelessly and some of the polish was not properly removed. The nail tech was patient when I was deciding between colors, attentive when she was filing and painting by asking me if I was okay with the shape/color and did a great job filing and shaping. Overall, a good paint job! The not so good: This is a no frills pedicure. No massage chair. No callus buffing/removal. No jet pedicure tub. No massage. For $75 (before tip) I would've definitely preferred to have at least one of those services included. TLDR: Overall happy with my gel "pedicure". A bit high of a price ($75 for gel pedicure) in my opinion for what you get but good spot.

I remember noticing that my cuticles weren't cut and Kazumi told me that cutting cuticles would dry them out more. Sadly, as the day went on I was stressing out and the next day I had to get my cuticles fixed right before of my wedding at another salon. The technician actually told me that my nails "looked terrible." I am sure Kazumi gives great work to other clients, but I was disappointed and I don't know if I will come back. My cuticles aren't always in the best shape (I'm a healthcare worker) but I expect at least they would've been cleaned up better considering the $50+ I spent and the fact that my nails were going to be photographed up close for my wedding.

It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Seriously? Seriously. Too bad yelp doesn't give half stars, because this dump really deserves 1.5 stars. I'm feeling generous so I'll just round up. This is your typical Vietnamese-run joint, and I've seen my fair share in SF and LA. The catch is, the service is rude as all get out -- and by that I mean I'm preeeetty sure these ladies were talking mad trash about me when I complained about having to wait when i ALREADY scheduled an appointment (I mean, I'm allowed to complain right? I know most salons can't take you right away but let a girl grumble geesh!) So there i am, already feeling kind of scandalized by these squawking women who are clearly talking about me in their language, all the while switching back to sweet talk in English when they're addressing me directly. At this point I'm already feeling intimidated, and then they land me with some older lady who acts like she's never held a bottle of nail polish in her life. It was one of those deals where I was just WILLING that she was just making mistakes she would clean up later...which of course didn't happen. I had to ask to get her to get the smudges off from around my cuticles. I mean, I know it's not the fanciest of salons but I expect to at least get a paint job coloring IN the lines when i go to a professional place for a manicure. By the end of it, I just wanted to scram on home and repaint my nails MYSELF. Seriously not worth it, and the most UNCOMFORTABLE experience. Ever. No. Just no. Don't even bother. The WORST service. Walking in here felt like walking back into my old high school -- the women were catty, and I don't even know why. It's not like they have the cheapest prices around (ahem, shops down yonder were hawking mani-pedis for $15-17!), and it's not like they're a luxurious place or anything. I mean come ON, your store name is in bright red Arial typeface font surrounded by lightbulbs. This is not New York City's elite nail studio, so stop treating me so badly! I was a walk-in without an appointment so they kind of tossed me aside and made me wait, and the lady who did my nails barely spoke a word to me except to ask what shape I wanted my nails to be. The paint job started chipping the next day so I had to go to a different salon to get them redone a few days later. Waste of money -_- read more

This place should be called QUEEN OF NAIL FUNGUS!!! My mom and I got nail fungus infection from here. Such a pity. Now we have to be on oral meds for a while and it's been a problem because the type of fungus that's from this salon is RESISTANT to a lot of Medications. Doctor said he has had other patients who also went here and for same strain any he is reporting them to health department. So nasty!! And another thing is Victoria is so cheap she puts paint thinner in her nail polishes to make them last longer as opposed to buying more ! As a result they chip and peel 2 days after you get your nails done. And she make you wait forever and they are super rude !! Honestly why would anyone go here ? read more

Been going here for the passed 5 years, so I think it's about time I give it a review. I really enjoy getting my nails done by the lovely ladies at Queen Nails. They are super quick, even as a walk in customer, I usually don't have to wait for more then 5 mins. Besides being fast, they are also very good. I mean it's not like a $80 experience at a Spa, but for $20 (hands and toes), it's as good as it gets. I would go during weekdays in the am right when they open around 10:30. There are usually just a few customers so I can also get a foot massage. They do get really busy during the weekends, especially during summer months. read more

Always fast and friendly. When busy you might have to wait a few but they move pretty quickly and multi-task so they get to you faster than most shops. They do a good quality job all with a smile and even converse with you. Not the whole time you are covering your ears cause they are yelling to each other in a different language. They make sure to greet you as soon as you arrive and see what you need. I been to shops they just look at you and ask you again in a few mins. Overall very happy and they do a great job read more

Clearly these people understand what it takes to keep a nail salon up and running, espcially when the block is flooded with them...Customer Service! Most nail places you come in, sit down, and they rush through their service leaving you with an "ok" manicure and pedicure. My nails always seem to last longer when I go to Queen Nails. Huge bonus! They are always busy, but I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Great pricing on mani/pani combo.
