After two disappointing experiences here, I am sad to say I will not be returning. My first visit was for a simple gel mani with cat eye + removal of my old gel polish. I booked an appointment in advance expecting to be in and out in a reasonable amount of time. However, my appointment ended up taking over two hours from start to finish. I sat there with my hands in foils for at least an hour while the techs attended to everyone around me. Once Annie saw me, she worked as quickly as possible which I appreciated but unfortunately my experience was already soured by then. I decided to give them another try and came back for gel x removal and builder gel. Unfortunately, they were overly aggressive with the removal and filed my nails paper thin. Now I am dealing with a deep and painful break in my nail (even with builder gel, which is supposed to make your nails stronger). I learned my lesson and will stick to my usual salon as they care more about preserving your nail health. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the lady who does gel nails works really fast. I went for a second time because I really liked her work. But this time another lady worked on the prep and she made my original nails super thin to the point my thumb began to hurt. The gel lady started to work on my nails and she took a very short time like usual and did my nails nice. But the part that confused me the most was being charged $60 for gel nails. At the moment I didn't think of it because I had a huge headache and I just wanted to go home. But after I got home I remembered I was only charged $45 the previous time. I called the place and a guy answered and told me he would look into it. He called me back and told me I got hard gel and said yes when the lady asked. This truly shocked me because I don't remember her asking at all or let alone me saying yes because I would remember if I said yes to hard gel. Because I've gotten hard gel before and it takes awhile to do. I proceeded to let him know I never said yes and she was very fast with my nails and hard gel takes awhile to do and all she did was put two coats of something which I thought that was just the coating everyone does before applying gel. I entered for an emergency removal as my gel-x was more or less all lifting. I was seated relatively quickly, with little notice. The set up weren't particularly comfortable due to the spacing in between the chair and table, making me slouch, though it would not be a big issue for someone who was of regular height. The quality itself was ok. I got blue hard gel, and they missed multiple corners on my fingers. It started chipping on the third day. They are quick and get the job done, however. It was the most efficient removal and filing by far. In total, it came out to be around 60$ including removal, though the pricing quote was different from the original. It is reasonable, though it could have been more clear up front. Overall it is not a bad spot for nails; especially for anything quick, last-second, and affordable. read more

This review is for the pedicure. I read nice reviews about the pedicure so I was excited to try it out. However, this is probably one of the worst pedicures I've ever experienced. First, they kept pushing for add-ons when I tried to opt in for a basic pedicure, so I gave in. That was a big mistake since it basically felt like a basic pedicure. The massage was only about two minutes and I felt rushed throughout the process. I was disappointed since the massage is definitely my favorite part of a pedicure so that was a bummer. Paint job was super thick and uneven. I also worry about the cleanliness of the place since they used a cheese grater for my heels so that definitely turned me off. Additionally, I saw some ants by the cash register so I hope they get that checked out. Not sure how it is for manicures but definitely think twice about getting pedicures here. read more

This place was a huge disappointment. My sister and I came in for pedicures, and from the start, the staff kept pushing unnecessary add-ons. Even worse, they ended up charging us for services we had specifically declined. My sister chose a pedicure that, according to their flyer, included a 10-minute massage. Partway through, she was told the massage would cost an extra $10. When she questioned it, they claimed she had requested a callus removal instead -- something she never mentioned. By that point, it was clear we weren't happy, and we could see the staff talking about us in front of us, which felt extremely unprofessional. When it came time for my own massage, it was rushed and poorly done. The worst part, though, was how rude and dismissive they were throughout the experience. Aw man. This place was Icarus and flew too close to the sun and got burned. Literally. I made an appointment for a new set and came in and they were super crowded. John came over and he seemed so rushed! When he was removing my old set he burned my fingers around 5 times (the sanding tool got so hot!!!) that I yelped in pain and had to pull my hand away several times. He seemed stressed and didn't speak much and went through the motions but was nowhere near as thorough as first time. I'm not sure if the salon was overbooking him or if it was by his request, but going so fast and rushing customers treatments and services is not good for the nail technicians or the customers. She helped me make a plan to rebuild my nails after a nearby salon filed the nail bed down too deep and cut into my skin. I came in with sawed nubs and left an hour later with gorgeous gel-x nails. I have also gotten hard gel manicure here that looked beautiful. On top of getting a great manicure, they are all very kind and accommodating. They will fix your nails for free if anything happens between appointments. They will also try to work around your schedule if you're a returning customer, coming early or staying late when needed. I finally found a place that properly cuts my cuticles and paints my natural nails close to the cuticles. The nail tech was Detail oriented , super clean, so nice , and offered me a coffee while I waited. They have meters and free street parking on side streets for 2 hours till 6pm. I'm so happy to have found this wonderful new nail salon in the neighborhood! They just opened up a few months ago and everything is super new and very clean. Metered street parking was easy to find and there is also a small back lot. I was sat down immediately and offered a bottled water upon arrival. I had my manicure done by John and it seemed very rushed....I did compliment him and tell him he was working so fast but in the back of my mind I was thinking....is this going to be good? (Mind you the salon had only 1-2 other customers in there so it wasn't even busy). So here I am 1 week later and it has already chipped on three fingers! It started chipping a little just after 4 days, but now it is definitely noticeable after 7 days. It sucks because I rarely get my nails done (literally once a year) and I have never had this happen to me at other salons. Every gel manicure I've gotten lasts me 1month+, until they've grown out so much that they look bad and I need to remove the gel. So sad. read more
