They were very helpful, clear in their direction and easy to work with. The venue itself is the best in Staunton. The vibe/feel of the Banquet room just cannot be recreated in a modern hotel. We used simple decorations of balloon bouquets, trees with white lights and then allowed the room to express itself. It's a wonderful space! I would definitely use this venue again if I were hosting a party of any kind....reunion, work reception, customer appreciation....etc. Any where you want something special....this is your place!

The American Hotel Banquet Room was very easy to work with from afar. The first thing that pulled us to the Banquet Room was the cost. Compared to Northern Virginia prices, it was a steal! We also loved that we were able to bring our own alcohol, which saved us probably thousands of dollars. My husband and the groomsmen set up the room beginning at 9 am that morning and I was told that Gary was also excellent to work with. With everything being said and done, I absolutely would have paid more for the space because it was worth every penny. And we got a lot of compliments for picking the room, because it is very original and beautiful!

Lang's continues to modernize the selection of jewelry and other accessories to keep up with contemporary demands. However, the lovely store, custom jewels, and estate pieces reminds visitors of how jewelers are supposed to conduct business. The owner is gracious and all the staff have something we could all use more...class. I surely found exactly what I wanted each time I shop there. No regrets. A big recommend for everyone.

The only thing I dislike more than kids birthday parties is planning them! They made planning this party an absolute breeze. When you book the party they send you an information packet which also contains free invitations you can fill out and distribute. You have the choice to bring your own food to the event and pay less for the party of have them order pizza. The pizza they order is from Maria's Italian restaurant and is DELICIOUS. They provide drinks, either soda or juice boxes, we went with juice boxes and they also provide pitches of water. They provide all plates, cups and utensils and serve all of it for you. The only thing we brought was the cake and some chips and snack type things for the kids who don't like pizza. The cake I had made was huge and really intricate. I was worried it would get messed up. So after picking it up around noon I called them asking if I could bring the cake over early and they happily obliged. They even met me out front of the place to help me bring it inside because it was pouring raining! I cannot say anything bad about this place....well besides the fact they don't serve wine or beer The place has a play area in one large room and a party area in another large room. The play area has inflatables, ride on toys, bounce areas, and some other neat things like a hamster ball and a orbit looking thing. So you play for an hour and then move to the other side for pizza, cake and party stuff. The party side also has arcade games and ride on toys that are motorized so no one gets bored! It was an awesome experience and I plan to have many more parties here for my kids in the future! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Eli's! Wonderful place, great staff! Exceptionally nice owner! I cannot say anything bad about this place!!! My daughter and son had an amazing time and my daughter said when we left it was the best party ever!!!
