Went in for a haircut. I said that I like my hair long and it's just getting back to normal after a hack job at Great Clips (they cut it short on the sides/back and long on the top - I looked like a palm tree). I showed where I wanted my hair down over my ears and explicitly said that I like it long in the back. 10 minute haircut and it's a palm tree cut - just like Great Clips. read more

Great little Barber shop. It's a small spot with like 2 chairs. The 2 ladies that have been there the few times I have gone are very nice and accommodating. I never do, but I recommend to schedule ahead of time. They do accept walk ins and might just take a couple minutes of the chairs are full. Decent price and good cuts. read more

We took my son here for his first hair cut and it went wonderfully. Maryjane was so kind and patient with him, however he did wonderful while she cut his hair. The parking situation was a little confusing but we parked across the street and used the crosswalk to get to the shop. Definitely would recommend to all! We will be back! This is the best Barbershop in Placerville! I went to another that had Playboy magazines in a place that did not make it good for children. Natilie is precise with her haircuts and the atmosphere is friendly. Michelle who works there is also amazing! I do not know what is about Barbershops but you either get people who look like rejects from a Mad Max Movie or you get individuals who are aloof and arrogant! I've walked in twice so far and had cuts done by Maryjane. She cut my hair exactly as I requested. I keep my hair a little longer than most, stylists tend to ignore that request and go ahead and determine how they want to cut your hair. Maryjane listened and then delivered great cuts. The price was great and the shop has a cool old time vibe. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Natalie the owner has a great level of customer service and does amazing haircuts. Also you can get your beard and mustache trimmed. Natalie is very talented with a straight edge razor. I have nothing but good things to say about Queen Bee's! A+++ You will love it here! The long version: First, I was looking for a barbershop to take my 1.5 yo for his first hair cut. I went to one other place first, and upon walking in was immediately told he was too young. I was really sad that this place wouldn't even consider us, but on we looked. I called Queen Bee's next and when I told her I wanted to bring in my baby for his first haircut she immediately said yes. She won me over right then! Second, I was looking for a place that wouldn't be too overstimulating for my child. Queen Bee's was perfect. Her place is not too big, the decorations are nice and nothing too over the top, and the atmosphere was very inviting. We all felt very comfortable from the first moment we walked in. My little guy even climbed right into the chair when it was our turn, and she was ready to start trimming his hair right then! I Love Love Love his first cut. And I love that she treated my little one so well. My husband also had his hair cut, and I love his cut too! Where he's been before I've always been unhappy with the end result, but not this time. The ultimate test: I asked him if he'd come back, and he said yes. There you have it, what more do I need to say? read more

I'll just start with saying Natalie is awesome! She did an excellent job cutting my hair and the atmosphere at her shop is chill. Today I brought my son to her shop to get his hair cut. My son usually tries to avoid getting the cut done because he had a bad experience with another outfit down the road. I took him to see Natalie today and I think it's safe to say she gave him the best cut he's ever had. She is truly an expert at her profession and great with kids. A good barber is tough to find. A great barber is like hitting the lotto. From our experience at Queen Bee Barbershop, if I had to sum up our visit with just one word, I have to say "win". read more

Went to get a hair cut on Friday 3/8 at 11AM. Place is closed, no one there.

She's always checking in with customers making sure they are satisfied with their cut. She does a really clean job! Definitely recommend!
