I came to Jo Anne during COVID when work-from-home hours began to take a toll on my upper back and…read moreneck. I was getting horrible headaches and had limited mobility in my neck. Jo Anne did a full assessment of my entire body's health beyond just the pained area I had come in for. I had mentioned a leftover injury from the gym that caused sharp pains in my shoulder every time it got chilly for the last six months. I was hesitant to bring it up as I didn't think anything would heal it besides time away from the gym. In ONE session, Jo Anne fixed it -- I haven't felt pain in that shoulder since. Truth be told, I was slightly skeptical of the efficacy of acupuncture and Jo Anne is the first acupuncturist I've seen but I am now a firm believer in acupuncture and a huge fan of her work. I have walked into Jo Anne's treatment room unable to move my neck left to right and walked out with full range of motion and feeling refreshed head to toe. Jo Anne is incredibly caring, kind and authentic about what can be achieved with her treatments. Even after she's fixed up every injury / ailment you've been neglecting for the past few years, you will be looking for excuses to book a visit with her!!

I had the "detox facial with anti-aging neck & décolleté treatment" from La'Shawn yesterday. It was…read morea great experience and I wish I've tried it earlier. Before the appointment, she reached out to learn more about my skin concerns and current regimen. I told her my biggest skin issues were large pores, sagging skin and a dull complexion. At the appointment, she started the with dermaplaning, which removes peach fuzzes and dead skin cells. My skin instantly felt softer and more breathable. She then did a mint and papaya enzyme peel. The enzyme tingled a little but nothing unbearable and felt really refreshing and nourishing afterwards. She then removed the black heads. But first she applied a partial facial mask to loosen up the sebum in my pores and as a result there's very little pinching and squeezing to remove the blackheads unlike my previous experience with facials. I really loved how painless that was and the results are just as great! Meanwhile, she massaged my shoulders and neck and applied a décolleté peel off mask. she ended the session with a detoxifying charcoal mask. After the 90 minutes treatment, my skin looked taut and bright. The day after (today), my pores are visibly smaller, skin feels even firmer than right after the facial, and my complexion brighter with a healthy glow. Even my husband commented on how much softer my skin feels. Below is the before and after (day after) pictures I took. Even as a makeup artist, I'm not used to thinking a facial can make such a difference, but after my visit with La'Shawn, I'm a believer. I highly recommend La'Shawn's services if you looking for a visible difference to your skin in one visit.

But, I feel it's a bit overwhelming. One cannot seem to browse too far without being shadowed *********************************************** CAUTION when redeeming your "free" coupons. Had "up to" $9.95 value "free" body product coupon. The cashier told me two individual times that my 1) foam pump soap or, 2) bath soap bar didn't fall into the category of "Body product". So, putting those down I was pointed to the small travel sized liquid soaps or the mini crimped hand creams (all travel sized). Needless to say, I walked out of there what I didn't need or want. It was MY fault that I put the other items back. Cashier wasn't friendly not thanking me after my $20+ purchase Called the 800# and JV Mall Bath & Body Works was in error to not allow me to correctly choose the item that fit within $9.95 or less. I wanted to make sure I wasn't interpreting the coupon wording wrong. Not looking to throw anyone under the bus for a few dollars. Maybe the cashier was a new employee. This I don't know!!
