This review is for Teri Severson. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I was receiving…read moreelectrolysis services from her for the past five months and had invested my time, trust, and money into the process. Unfortunately, the way this needed was very disappointing. I don't know why it was her concern that I come from far away. Despite my concerns about the service and not seeing the results I was hoping for, I still gave her the opportunity to continue working on my upper lips because I wanted to complete the process and believe in giving her a fair chance. On the day of my appointment 06/20. She had power outage at her location, which was understandable. However, instead of working with me to reschedule and continue my treatment, she decided to stop taking me as a client. I was very disappointed that after five months of being a client, there was no effort to find another appointment time or a reasonable solution. I was also disappointed with the level of attention given to my concerns. I specifically wanted my baby hairs addressed, but i did not feel that this area received the proper care and attention i expected. After five months of treatments, I expected better communication, professionalism, and consideration. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed and undervalued as a client. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this service. Teri Severson only wants clients from Auburn area if you are from a different area don't waste your time

This review is long overdue. I am receiving electrolysis treatments from Trish for nearly 4 years…read morenow. At my consultation, she patiently and expertly explained the science behind hair growth and how electrolysis permanently removes the hair. She was also realistic about the timeline for complete hair removal in my problem areas and offered after care instructions to minimize reactions for my hyper sensitive skin. She has decades of experience, and it shows. Trish keeps patient safety at the heart of her work. To avoid excessive skin reactions and scarring, she closely monitors the level of current used and avoids working on the same patch of skin too frequently. Her office is neat and tidy. She always sanitizes the treatment site before beginning and uses a new probe at each session. Electrolysis is a minor invasive procedure and hygiene is a top priority for the best technicians, like Trish. Furthermore, unwanted hair is a very personal battle for many hirsute women. Trish is deeply compassionate, kind, and empathetic about this. Her office is a safe space for women who are otherwise made to feel abnormal by a society obsessed with hairlessness. Our empowering conversations, over the years, helped me destigmatize the issue and overcome my insecurities. Unfortunately, I have moved from the area and really struggled finding an electrologist with comparable skills, prices, and personability. I always make maintenance appointments with Trish whenever I'm back in town. I'm grateful that she made this process so easy for me over the years. She also equipped me with the knowledge to find trustworthy, qualified technicians when I moved. Anyone looking for high quality, affordable electrolysis with a great person to be around, Trish is for you!
