My recommendation is either the Al Pastor(pork)which is so tasty. There's bits of pineapple in there with the meat! Also the adobodo chicken is amazing! It's flavorful and tender. The burritos are also good! They add rice, beans, cheese and sour cream. They are offer red sauce(mild) and green sauce (hot) to top the tacos or burritos with. They are always busy! It's been our solid to-go spot. Small restaurant with some seating. They are always super quick with our orders. The birria torta and burrito are phenomenal. And the regular barbacoa burrito never misses. We tried a couple other items like the enchilada and tacos but weren't the biggest fan. Enchilada were just soggy with very little cheese and we thought the taco shell was a bit too thick. But stick with the burritos and you're good to go! We discovered this place on a whim driving by, we stopped in quick for take out and were satisfied with how tasty everything we ordered was, unfortunately they didn't have any elote so I got esquites. We visited again no elotes again but the tacos were consistently delicious, I love the pastor tacos and chip and guac. Amazing homemade tortilla. The meat was perfectly marinated with great flavor and had the right amount of crispy bits. The real surprise were the little bits of pineapple that added some sweetness. Finally was able to try this place out after hearing about it everywhere. We got the steak California burrito and steak tacos (asada, al pastor, and chorizo). The tortillas are hand made and nice and thick so it didn't fall apart while eating. Love that! Overall, loved the tenderness of the steak and my favorite was the chorizo- it was so flavorful! You get a good amount of filling in the tacos and burrito. The California burrito came with chips (but no salsa, which was disappointing). Inside the burrito, it was delicious and juicy (it even has fries). The place is small with limited seating (4 tables total) so I'm glad to get our food to-go. Things I would change: they charge you for salsas but the container they give you is tiny and weren't even full of salsa. For $1.50, I would expect enough for at least my meal. read more

I was happy to see they have a kids meal option. They also have specials like discounted tacos on Tuesdays and discounted burritos on Wednesdays. The first time I came here I got a couple of tacos and did enjoy the flavor. I then kept thinking about the California burrito and came back for that. It's hard to come by a California burrito in MN, they are known for having both steak and fries inside the burrito! I liked the burrito, it's a nice decent meal, but next time I would ask for no- "guacamole" because it was just large chunks of avocado. I wish I liked the sauces, each meal comes with a green sauce and an orange sauce, but they are both uncomfortably spicy, very bitter. read more

We added elote and a carnita taco and that was amazing as well. They have two different salsas but the salsa verde is on another level on spice but in the best way possible. We saw birria on the menu and had to come check them out. This is a small restaurant, option to dine in or take out. They have about 8 tables for guests. Another win for nearby lunch spots found on Yelp!!! Last week Thursday for me was definitely a Mexican food kind of day lol. Did a quick "tacos nearby" search on Yelp and to my dismay, there were more options than expected. After looking at the reviews, I hopped in my car and headed straight here. I ended up getting the Steak Burrito and it came with two sauces: a red spicy sauce and a green avacado'y sauce, which were both so tasty and paired well with my enormous burrito! Beside the size of it, what caught my attention was how soft and fresh the tortilla wrap had tasted. The meat was tasty and everything else that came inside the burrito was portioned evenly, which made eating it so hassle free. During my visit, I conversed with an avid Google reviewer who was remembered by one of the workers and thanked for leaving a review. She reassured all of the reviews on this place and shared how much she loves the quesabirria(which is next on list to try) and just loved supporting a small local mom and pop shop like this one(to which I couldn't agree more). The place is kinda tight, but that didn't matter much because I always bring my lunch back to work to grub in my office. There is outside benches but this is obviously not the time of the year for that kind of thing haha. On the flip side, I'm all for small details and I love how easy their menu is to read. The words are at a great font and the screens are well lit. Reading menus in restaurants are usually so hard and calls for squinting of the eyes but not at Que Taco. Lots of parking. Quick service. I went here for something quick and easy; upon my first bite, I became a regular. I've eaten at Que Taco so many times now that I only recommend this restaurant for Mexican cuisine now. Had an early lunch at this solid taco shop in the parking lot of the New Hope Bowl & Lounge. I had 2 Asada Tacos, chips, and a soda. So much yes to Que Taco. The fresh, house made tortillas, the birria tacos...I've found a new place to call home. This little hole in the wall doesn't have much for seating, but the food is fantastic, the service friendly, and options delightful. I ordered two of them so I could sample the chicken tinga and the barbacoa with the hot salsa. First impression - YUM! The meat was sooooooo juicy and tender with fantastic flavor. I frequent Que Taco. Like a lot. The combo platter is the best bang for your buck, I get it with the barbacoa. The barbacoa is my favorite of their meats, but the pastor is pretty good too. I like the carnitas and chicken but they don't have as much flavor as the other two mentioned. They make their own tortillas here, and honestly their not my favorite tortillas as they are kind of thicker/fluffier but I do like the flour tortillas. Quesabirria, birria, birria/ramen combo, and tacos are recommended. I've had birria at a couple other places, while this isn't my number 1, it is certainly better than AZ tacos birria. BY FAR. As for sides, rice is good but a little dry so I usually add lime, birria broth, and hot sauce to it. The chorizo queso is delicious but a little spendy. I've had the gorditas (not my fav food in general). The taquitos have been a little hit or miss, but when they hit and they're crunchy, they're very good. I call ahead or order online and it's usually ready when I arrive or shortly after. Small diner so I do takeaway. Overall I recommend Que Taco, it's my fav in the area over AZ or riendo. read more

I was so excited to try a new authentic Mexican spot. It was very mid and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Got 2 orders of Burria tacos for me and my spouse. Consume was literal water with no taste and so was the meat--tasteless. Nothing authentic to me. Surprisingly, that didn't quench my appetite, but what did is finding not one, but 3 HAIRS!!! I excused the first hair but after biting into the 2nd one then investigating both tacos, there was 3 black curly hairs!! Literally FOLDED INTO THE TACO! My hair is straight and not black. I didn't even check my spouses meal, he didn't even end up eating it, we put it in the fridge. Next day, the corn tortilla was turning green? Disgusting. Waste of money!!! No flavor or all contamination obviously. Maybe even old/not properly stored food! I got sick with horrible stomach problems and diarrhea for a week after eating not even 1 full taco--STAY AWAY!! The food is authentic! The food is freshly made and delicious! The service is unbelievable! If you miss real Mexican food (this is Puebla style) you won't be disappointed. I wanted a taco bar for my birthday party. I went to Que Taco two days before and went over what I wanted. The guy there , I think owner or manager, listened to me and recommended sizes and details. I ordered , at least I thought I did, and before I left I asked him if he wanted to write the order down or if he needed my name! He said no we will have it all ready for you at 5 PM! Well guess what, it wasn't ready they had to make it all while my husband waited. We were going to pick it up at 5 so we could eat at 5:15-5:30PM. But we didn't get to eat until 6 PM. Also we didn't get the beans and rice that he and I had spoken about including. The food we had was good but he didn't meet the timeline he promised or the entire order that we went over. I'm a little disappointed that they would cover the really burnt parts of the tamales I ordered with way too much lettuce and yeah even the chicken was charred.
