On my way home to from visiting family up north decided to stop here for a little extra caffeine and was happy to see they had a drive-through because I have my pug with me. I love coffee shops in small towns. They were really sweet too my pup who is a little extra. She was excited to slurp down a pup cup. Will definitely be making this a regular stop on my monthly trip. read more

Mug Life Locally-owned and operated coffee shop located in Downtown Socorro that's been getting residents ready to face the day since early 2020. The Good: *Drive-thru *Friendly service *Great prices compared to The Mermaid™ *Accept CashApp® The Meh: *Both our drinks were quite lackluster in flavor, as the Chai wasn't very spicy, and Carissa's Peppermint Mocha wasn't very peppery or minty for that matter. My boyfriend and i came here for a sweet drink before we left town. The ambiance was cozy! Cute place. The people were quiet but not rude. And got our drinks out rather quickly although we were the only two people there. We both got matcha frappes and they were great! Not too sweet. read more

An oasis in a desert of fast food restaurants and hotel/motel coffee, this place made feel like I could be anywhere... and that was super welcome. When they hand you a cappuccino and it's light as a feather but has all the good stuff you need when working from 7:00pm to 6:000am, you know they did it right. I'll be back next time I'm in town for sure! I only wish they would stay open later in the day. read more

The coffee is perfectly great. The service is great. And I'm grateful that this place is in Socorro for when I pass through. Anybody who is body shaming the baristas in these reviews or trying to tell them how to live their lives and teach them a lesson maybe ought to look in the mirror. They are young people trying to do their jobs. read more

Coffee was very good. Staff was terrible. Three young teenagers running the shop is a nightmare. We were ready to order and one of the brats wouldn't shut up about the fight she was having with her boyfriend long enough for us to place an order. The more mature of the three finally told her to be quiet long enough so we could talk. While waiting for our order we heard plenty of f bombs and other unprofessional language. I felt like I was in the high school girls locker room, not a place of business. My advice to the owner: fire the overweight, chatty one. She seems to be the problem. The other two will probably be ok with some guidance and leadership. read more

Went last week and they only have the drive thru open. The coffee is decent, but the young lady in the drive thru asked me if I would like to leave a tip. I'm usually generous when it comes to tipping, but I felt obligated giving a tip via drive thru. read more

I'm gonna give this place a one star but will change it in the future if they I improve. We really need a great coffee shop in Socorro. We went to try this new one on opening day. Really excited! Location is great. Atmosphere is great. Pastries were decent. Coffee was terrible. I kinda noticed it while standing in line. They were serving up iced coffee but it looked the same color as iced tea. Very week. My wife got an iced latte and it was almost white the coffee was so week. All you could tast was the flavor syrup. I got a latte with no syrup and it was not good at all. In fact I dumped it out. This place will be great once they learn how to make espresso. Will keep trying to see if they improve. I really want them to. read more

Since she recommended the tamales though I got the regular one which is sweet kind of like a dessert and came with honey. It was very good. Prices were great. Their answer was "if your dog is friendly, we are dog friendly." So we say down and ordered a pint, and several customers came over to pet our then-6 month old husky mix pup. We each ordered a sandwich (I don't remember the specifics) and got a plain unseasoned hot dog without a roll for the doggo. The staff was very pleasant, and the customers were friendly and chatty. They had some very funny signs on the walls that made my wife and me laugh. We will happily return when staying overnight or passing through Socorro again.
