If you're a menudo snob like me, look no further--Chilangolandia is hands down the best in town…read more Their menudo is always on point: rich, flavorful, and incredibly clean (which, let's be honest, is non-negotiable when it comes to good menudo). I've got high standards and they exceed them every single time. It's a small, family-owned gem with such a warm and welcoming vibe. I always call ahead, and they're consistently sweet, professional, and on time. Their breakfast tacos are also next level--honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, you'll feel like family. I truly couldn't recommend them more.

I'm not gonna lie...I was absolutely HANGRY when we pulled up to this spot! I all of a sudden had…read morea taste for some authentic Mexican food so I searched my map to find this place close by. It was in a gas station parking lot so my side eye was on automatically. However, when we pulled up, all the authentic smells coming from this lil plaza let my heart know that "everything was already alright"! When we entered the door, we were greeted & felt pretty good. I thought I had my mind made up from the pics in my map app, but once inside, the pics on the menu & hanging on the counter made my indecisiveness kick in. Between the pics & the smells, & the hangry-ness, my brain was discombobulated ! Ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Plate (meat was chopped & seasoned really well)for my hubby; daughter ordered the Burria Taco Plate (which was amazing ). I settled on the Puerco En Salsa Verde con Arroz y Frioles with their homemade corn tortillas! Wooo wee! This was absolutely DEEEEELISH!!! I don't think my picture does this justice. But it was piping hot & truly the best salsa verde I've ever tasted since I've been in Texas!!! My daughter said the consommé with her Burria Tacos was one of the best she's had...I tend to agree ! Y'all, I didn't even wait to get home to eat...I ate it in the car, with NO shame! I know I will dream about this place for the next couple of days because the food was so authentic & soooo amazingly scrumptious!!! We will definitely be back because now I have to try the menudo & a few other dishes. Oh...yes, there is a little seating inside & they do have daily specials from 9am-2pm. The service was pretty quick as well.

Customer service is a zero, food is a 3. The first visit a…read morefew days ago went okay. Came in and stood around a few minutes and no one acknowledged me so I stopped a lady and asked how to order, she took my order, a chicken burrito plate, 4 barbacoa tacos and 4 bean and cheese. The chicken burrito was soggy bland and falling apart. The rice and beans were good. The barbacoa was ok. And the bean and cheese were great. My family loved the tortillas and beans. I spent $32. Not too bad for the amount of food even if it wasn't all that great. Went back just for bean and cheese tacos today and also ordered a carne asada plate. The cashier says my total is $37 which completely shocked me for ONE plate that was $14 and 6 bean and cheese tacos. This time they charged me $3 instead of $2 for each taco and when I asked why the price was different just a few days ago the cashier just got an attitude and said "we made you something not even on the menu" (referring to the BEAN AND CHEESE tacos) and said that she "didn't see me there on Thursday" insinuating that I was lying. I would have just left but my family was hungry and had been waiting (in the car due to COVID Restrictions) 25 minutes already so I paid and took the food. I wish I would have just left. The bean and cheese tacos were sad & cold, the cheese wasn't even melted a little bit and it all fell out of the tortilla in one cold clump. The carne asada was dry the beans and rice on the side were good again but that's all the good I can say. We tossed everything and went to Jack in the box. Huge waste of money.
