I came upon Qube Auto Body by accident. Hoping to powder coat my new rims purchased for my 2017 GMC Canyon, I went to Champion Powder Coating on Fairfax in San Francisco. Elliott warned me that he could try to get close, but exact color match not possible. He recommended Bob and Carmen at Qube. Best advice I've gotten since not joining the Peace Corps outta high school. Both personable and professional, Bob worked magic on these rims. And took the time to masterfully shoot the plastic caps. I am so pleased I couldn't wait to put them on the truck first! Thanks Bob and Carmen! read more

I brought my 1979 Vespa P200e out to QUBE and met Bob and Carmen. They were more than kind, and made my scooter like new. Above and beyond, and better than I'd hoped. It's so beautiful that I can hardly believe it. The grin on my face while I'm riding is twice the size it was before. I couldn't be a more delighted, satisfied, or grateful customer! Thank you. read more

Tough location, but great service. Carmen and Bob operate the best autobody shop in SF. Quick turn around on my car. The last time was a door injury and it was done in a half a day. I have been going to Qube since they were on Harrison St. Carmen does not look as if she aged a day and is such a lamb. read more

A couple of weeks ago someone hit my car while it was parked. The owner of the company whose truck hit my car paid for the damages to my car. They work directly with Qube Autobody shop. I took my car in to have it repaired there and 2 days later I got my car back. The work done there was great! They were thorough and professional. My car looks like nothing ever happened. If I ever need any work done to a vehicle I will certainly take it back there. read more

Bob and Carmen are a dynamic brother and sister duo.I first meet them when they were located on Harrison St. I recently back into my neighbours car. They went above and beyond to turn a crappy situation into a great one... Everyone is happy!! They've done a bunch of work for my husband over the years and I've got to say I highly recommend them. I was lucky enough to be referred to Qube by a colleague, and thank god they did. Carmen, Bob, Sergio and team/family are just gems. Super honest, pleasant, willing to do whatever it takes to make your car or truck look better than new, and FAST. I have taken my truck to them for a few things, and each time, they give me a ride to my work, and call me throughout the day to let me know how the work is going. In most cases, they get the work done in ONE day. They also are flexible on pricing, and eventhough a job took more hours than they estimated they still only charged me what was promised on the estimate! Now that meant alot to me. They even go to other shops or dealers if there is a certain body part they need to get your job done fast and most economical. Qube is something special, in talent, professionalism, honesty, and friendliness. I told them I want to buy an old muscle car again, just so I can work with them on rebuilding the body and paint. Amazing work. Best in SF and the bay! read more

This morning I was getting coffee across the street at Ritual and when I backed out of my parking spot I nearly pulled my bumper off! Thankfully, the guys from Qube were standing right there and offered to temporarily reattach my bumper using plastic ties (that's what was holding it on originally) for no charge! What was beginning to look like a very bad day got a little brighter because of his kindness. I got an estimate for what the real repair would cost and plan to return to Qube soon to get the fix. In the meantime, thank you for your kindness and professionalism!!! read more

I had gotten into an accident sometime back in the days...i took my car over to EUR-ASIA on Bryant St. and left it there over the weekend. They had not done any work on the car yet so i decided to take it out of the shop...i had my cousin try and get me out of paying storage fees but whatever. at least he helped. He had recommended QUBE AUTOBODY so i carefully drove it over to the shop. I was then introduced to BOB. He seemed to be a very cool guy. Or at least what i thought he was. The whole front end of the car was damaged so it was going to take some time to repair. i was cool with that. Every now and then i would call the shop and asked BOB how the repairs were coming along. Every time in the beginning it was like the car was still being worked on. Until almost the time when the car was completed. So it sounded to me like the car was almost done so i told BOB i was coming down to the shop to check it out. When i got to the shop, i was in for a BIGG SURPRISE!!! I had found that my car had been "BROKEN INTO" because my car was parked in the alley way outside the shop for 30 mins. I brought the car into the shop, it should have stayed in the shop. For no reason should my car be sitting outside for that long of a time. So i found that my car stereo deck got stolen and i had to ask BOB to replace that along with a new side window. After all this was done, i wasn't even going to bring my car back there ever again nor was i going to give recommendations on this business... In my honest opinion, this guy sounds like some kinda crook. Take your chances on this guy, i sure wouldn't. If there was any way to give this business 0 stars, believe me i would. How can you expect even one star if you don't take care of your customer's personal property? I have since moved on to a better body shop thanks to a recommendation from a co-worker. read more

Came in 4:15pm they close at 5pm, hoping I wasnt to late to get an estimate. Old white guy said he was down to give an estimate. Then walked out to my car and said "nevermind this estimate would take over 30 minutes and isnt worth my time, i dont need your business". Like damn, really ?! You dont NEED my business ? Looking inside his shop he had only 1 car in there. Not sure how they keep the lights on if that is the case. Went down the street to Lee's bodyshop, they gave me a quick estimate, and now they have another $7,000 in revenue from my business. read more

I love, love, love Bob and Carmen. They are SO honest, will give you the best deal they can, and believe in fixing things instead of replacing everything! I once tried using someone closer to my house and the estimate was 3x as much. They have saved me so much money! And they are the nicest people! Truly great customer service. read more

Before even bringing my car in to get the dent repaired, I have to give Qube a 5-star review, just for the expert advice and generosity of the owners, Bob and Carmen. I side-swiped a curb, then found my right front wheel area was not steering correctly and making a horrible scrapping sound. I called Qube when I read the wonderful reviews here. Bob, after telling me the car needed to be fixed by a mechanic rather than a body shop, warned me not to get taken in by unscrupulous types looking for extra cash in a bad economy. He not only made a personal recommendation, telling me to use his name when I brought it in, but even looked up the parts that could have been damaged for my model, then told me the prices and gave me a potential cost breakdown, depending on what needed to be replaced. All this from someone who wasn't even getting any business from me! I called after the work was done to say thank you, and spoke to Carmen. Also a very obliging, she promised to pass the word on. i am planning to pass my business on to Qube - I'll be bringing my car in soon to get that dent in the trunk fixed. read more

Trust is everything. Qube has earned my trust and they continue to prove themselves to be highly qualified, dedicated and kind. Carmen and Bob are quite the team and they take G-O-O-D care of their customers. I'm embarrassed to admit how many cars they've repaired for me over the years but I am proud to say that they are the clear winner in the world of auto body shops. Carmen and Bob, I am incredibly grateful (but I hope not to need you for a long, long time:-). read more

Have used them for 35 years since Bobby was rebuilding a corvette in his garage. Does that speak for itself? I moved to Piedmont. I still use them. Wouldn't trust anyone else. Simply the best. Total competence. Total honesty. read more

Thank you Carmen for assisting me with the networks needed to get the job done, you're the best.

Bob Mendez and Carmen created an outstanding customer experience matched with excellent repair on my smashed front left hood, fender, and grill. As a woman, I always feel a little vulnerable at autobody repair shops. They communicated clearly about what they would do, how much it would cost and when it would be completed. They also helped arrange my rental car. Great job performed by great honorable and nice people. read more

They worked with my insurance, got me a discount on a rental car and even gave me a ride home! This is the ONLY positive experience I have ever had with an auto body shop. I even ran into Carmen when I was out to dinner one night in the city and she recognized me and gave me a hug. I chose Qube because it was recommended to me by my friends and after my experience there, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Had my car rare-ended by a cop vehicle and then got a ticket for missing the bumper. One would think this kind of causal loop would destroy the space-time continuum, but it was about to destroy my wallet first. Hint: it's good to have collision insurance so that you don't have to go after the government on your own. Long story short, I got recommended to go to Bob for the the rare bumper installation. Bob showed expertise in insurance paperwork and went beyond what's required by taking photos and preparing the documentation for further dealing with the insurer. He also was open about the cost of parts from his suppliers and proposed the minimum viable repair to keep my out of pocket costs down. Not many shops would try to repair the dented lock and then undercharge your for their labor time, rather than ordering a new part and charging for installation. Rare kind of positive, helpful and honest attitude. read more

Bob and Carmen are the best! I have used them 3-4 times for work and personal vehicles and they treat every project with special attention. Even if its an old Toyota 4runner (like mine) and not a vintage Corvette Bob always goes the extra mile. They are honest, timely, straight forward and they don't play games. They have been in the business for a long time and you can tell. Plus there is always some amazing hot rod or muscle car there thats fun to check out. read more

I have taken my car into Qube twice over the last couple of years and could not be more impressed. They do a great job and are very fair and honest. Carmen and Bob are wonderful. They are friendly and professional and make the whole process of dealing with insurance companies and rental car companies a breeze. Thanks for taking such good care of me again! read more

Qube is the best! We first went there when our car was practically demolished by a garage valet. It was their insurance person's recommendation. And what a recommendation it was! This place is terrific. They are accomodating, good listeners and perfectionists. Our car looked brand new again when they were finished working on it. Since our first encounter, we have had many occasions to visit Qube. Each time, it's been the same. Friendly, efficient service and fabulous work. They take pride in what they do and it shows. They even give me a cab chit to take downtown to my office. Once they even drove my car to my house for me when it was inconvenient for me to pick it up from their shop. Highly recommended. read more

I had to take my car to Qube for repair twice recently. Bob and Carmen were just terrific people. They were friendly and helpful. I have a BMW and really wanted the work to be done up to the dealer standard. The job that they did was super and I was very happy with the result. It is difficulty to find honest and trustworthy body shop and Qube is one of the very few. Their price is reasonable and actually Bob helped to save me some money. read more

I can't say enough about this auto body shop. One of my employees had a dent in the drivers side of her car, we were given Bob's name at Qube. We took it in on Tuesday at four, Carmen who works in the office had reserved the rental car from Enterprise for us and drove us to Enterprise and when we returned today, Carmen had offered to pick us up at the rental company if they were to busy to drop us back for my employees car, but luckily one of the guys at Enterprise was free and he dropped us back to Qube. The car is perfect, you think nothing ever happened. I'm so impressed with the service and the efficiency was definitely a ten out of ten. We came from south San Francisco and between dropping car off and getting rental it took 1 hour from door to door and the same when we picked up the car. Bob and Carmen are both very genuine and down to earth people and I for one know you don't meet people like that every day. Thank you. read more

I have been using Bob for auto body repair for over 30 years. The quality of his work is always top notch. You will not be disappointed!

Seriously I can't believe I am writing an update, but almost 1 week to the day after getting my car back someone smashed into the back of me when I was leaving a Warrior's game. The good thing was that I already knew where I was taking my car and again they helped me though the whole process. The back end was really messed up, but like before the car was returned to me in perfect condition. They made sure everything was done perfect and kept me updated on the process the whole way. Again I will not take my car anywhere else even though its far from where I live (I'm in Walnut Creek, they are in San Francisco). Now I am hoping I never have to go there again, but I know if I do that they will do an awesome job. Thanks again to Bob and Carmen for doing such a great job. read more

Qube Autobody is a 10 for me they not only do a High Quality job but they make you feel like family starting with Carmen behind the black and white checkered floor and state of the art cabinets filled with 50's diecast car and GI Joe memorabilia she is the perfect match for her surroundings. She is efficient and kind and alway's willing to listen and focuses on what happened to you not only your car during the incident and then when you pick up your car it's prettier than when you left it " That's what I'm talkin bout" for Great customer service I give them a 10 Star read more
