At my old home I had solar installed without any kind of battery backup as at the time battery backup was really not an option. Solar was pretty good but did not provide me with a zero bill. When I sold that home and moved into my new home the cost was more than I wanted to spend. Fast forward three years and prices have come down and with the federal tax credit expiring I decided to make the investment as the cost of electricity seems to keep going up. I wanted to go with Tesla as being a big company I thought they would be a good choice. The first problem I had with them is you can't reach a person to talk to. And for the amount of money this costs I was not really comfortable, however I moved on and paid a deposit and started the process in September of 2025. When I finally was able to speak with a person they told me that they could not guarantee that they could complete the installation by the December 31, 2025 deadline, really 4 months of lead time? I canceled Tesla and looked around at my other options. Shelter came to my home and we spoke. They were knowledgeable and the salesperson was really nice, however their price was a huge difference from the other two quotes that I received. Quantium was another company that I spoke with, and I was ready to use them as they were much bigger than California Solar and I thought that might be a better option, plus a neighbor had used them and were happy with them. However when I got the contract from them it basically stated that they wanted a $1000 deposit and if they found that I needed additional work and if I did not want to continue then I would loose my deposit, that seemed outrageous so I told them that I would not continue with them. Note that after I had decided to go with California Solar and Electric they told me they would give me the deposit back if that would happen, but by them I had already signed the contract with California Solar and Electric and honestly was happier with them at that point. I spoke to Mark Howe and he was excellent. I told him about Quantium and he sent me a copy of their contract and told me that they did not do that. His price was the same and the equipment was the similar. Note that they actually had to upgrade my solar panels and did not charge me any additional fees. They also did some additional work to allow more of my home to be backed up than their original quote. Mark told me that he could get the job done before the tax deadline so I signed with them. The process took a bit of time as we had to get permits and approval from the HOA. But the system was installed on time and fully completed well before the deadline. They actually worked on the installation during huge winds and rain. It did take a day or two longer to complete than what they originally thought. One of my batteries was bad out of the box and that created a bit of an issue but Henry was amazing and took care of everything quickly and professionally. He was even nice when I messed up and scanned a QR code that I thought would download a different app but it basically erased my home from my app. Note to self, double check before scanning QR codes. All in all the process was professional and was handled as quickly as possible. Communication was good even though they were swamped trying to get everyone installed before the end of the year (2025). Everyone that I dealt with was really nice and easy to work with. I think I must have driven Bella their wonderful assistant, crazy calling so often. Of course Henry had to deal with all of my questions which he handled and made me feel very comfortable. I would suggest that if you do decide to go solar, give California Solar and Electric a call and get a quote. Thanks for reading my lengthy review.

I got an estimate from them and went ahead with the install. This morning the installer, Jessie, showed up at my home (he was early, which was good). After explaining the installation process, as well as my new charger's features, Jessie went right to work. The whole install process did not take very long. Walter walked me through how the charger works (pretty simple) including the WiFi connection. After he finished Jessie made sure that the area was clean and that all installation debris was picked up. I am somewhat disappointed that my chosen installation location (inside the garage) could not be used. But Walter showed me how inside the garage would have been a very tight fit. So overall I am OK with the set-up. Next month the Photon Brothers will come to install the Tesla Powerwall to go with my solar panels. I expect that everything will go smoothly!

His approach required a small modification that no other vendor had ever mentioned, and it made a meaningful difference in system capacity. Design Phase: Ish and his team were incredibly flexible in accommodating my specific preferences for how the panels should be grouped and connected to each Tesla Powerwall 3. We held several conference calls with their technician and architect to review and validate the design, and they were consistently willing to collaborate and adjust based on my input. Installation Experience: The installation itself was much quicker than I expected. The longest part of the process was simply waiting for the Tesla Powerwall 3 units which was a Tesla supply delay, not theirs. Rebate Assistance: They also helped me secure a rebate that I wasn't even aware of, which was a great added bonus. Overall: Ish and his crew went above and beyond. I've done extensive research on how to fully maximize the Tesla Powerwall 3, and through my conversations with them, I was able to clearly confirm their technical expertise and confidence in delivering a high-quality installation. I swear Dean is the most patient (no pressure) sales guy I've ever met. Yo say he is thorough is an understatement. He carefully looks at all information available from the types of systems to the pros and cons of each and tailors them to the individual's requirements. The best part is he doesn't oversell you on things you don't need. In my case I wanted a system to eventually be ready for an electric car. Dean wisely advised not to buy the extra pieces now when they would be of no value to me, but ensured my system would be ready for upgrades when I was ready. Since our initial install we have upgraded our system on 3 occasions, each time carefully planned out to maximize the value of the equipment and to get the best bang for the buck. In short if I could give 10 stars I would. If you are interested in learning about solar give them a call. You won't be sorry.

The AirWorks technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He inspected my unit and determined the system was working fine. He said the water pump had failed and that's why I had water on the floor. He was able to replace the water pump in just a few minutes and it only cost me a few hundred dollars. Since then my heater has been working well and I've had no issues. Moving forward I will always call AirWorks first because I trust them.

They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved.
