I am so grateful that I landed on Quantum Regeneration Bodywork! I had never heard of "Gua Sha" or muscle/fascia/scar scraping. It works! Orlando McGuire puts his vast kinesthetic knowledge into this effective healing technique. I'm amazed at how much better it made me feel. There is a major difference when I go regularly. I started getting my soft tissue scraping done to help with tight hamstrings and tight neck and shoulder issues. The results were instant. I've had Myofascial massage work done, acupressure, deep tissue massages, foam rolling, PT therapy and more.... But THIS is what I swear by. I have never had results like this. My flexibility went from maybe being able to touch half way down my calf, to palms on the ground. My chronic migraines have gone away. The tension in my neck and shoulders and back were the culprit for YEARS. No more Advil and excedrin just to get through a day. Chronic pain in my hands left over from carpal tunnel surgery, arthritis and trigger finger from Repetitive motion as a welder have improved so much! My lower back pain I would get when driving/sitting or standing for long amounts of time has gone away as well. I go twice a week, hit upper body one day, lower the other. This has completely improved my quality of life at work, in the gym, and on the day to day. As someone with small veins and very low blood pressure, this has also helped greatly with my circulation. Two years ago i was diagnosed with runners knee. I went to a orthopedic surgeon and was referred to physical therapy. I did my insurance run to the end only to be still in pain. When i returned to the orthopedic he told me it is something I am going to have to live with. My wife recommended i try scraping and set me up an appointment After two appointments with Orlando my knee pain is Considerably better. I'm still wearing a knee brace at work but i'd say my pain has gone from a 7 to a 3. If you have tried all the normal routes to ease the pain to no avail, give Orlando and Jen a shot, myofacial release, and scraping works for me. I injured my back at the gym 15 years ago.
