There is a reason this place has a 5.0.... It's outstanding. I have been coming here since 2014. Most recently I started coming more frequently because of a shoulder impingement I developed from working out that prohibited me from lifting my arm above my head. It started in September and I didn't think to come to Amir until November when nothing else was helping and the pain didn't go away. After a few visits- the pain was gone and I could lift my arm again. I was thrilled but also sad because I didn't need to see him as regularly. But I go back just for the sheer enjoyment of my conversations with Amir. He can take one look at you, feel your pulse and then, come back with an exact diagnosis of what's going on mentally, physically, emotionally. I hope he never retires because I need him for the rest of my life. read more

Great practitioner, lots of great knowledge and professionalism. Treatment has been super helpful for my pain. Highly recommend! read more

Amir is a special kind of healer - I went in for joint pain and mentioned in passing a problem with chronic congestion I was having. I've never had acupuncture, but whatever he did, I woke up BREATHING normally from my nose. My joints feel slightly better, but nasal challenges have at least for now been a hundred percent alleviated. This is worth the price of admission. He taught me some effective stretches to use, adjusted my standing and gave a VERY deep tissue massage. The acupuncture itself is not painful (the ones in the hand weren't exactly comfortable, but Amir warned me about that). I was able to relax and almost doze for about 20 minutes. The bed was super comfy, and the room was indeed warm. On a couple of logistic points, there's plenty of free parking (in the Encino Town Center Plaza), the restroom is off location, so plan accordingly, and Amir was super flexible with my schedule. And speaking more to his generosity and humanity, while I was lying in bed looking like the victim of porcupine attack, he was reaching out to my insurance company to find if they covered regular treatments. Turns out his office doesn't but he informed me I could get up to 30 sessions a year at $10 a pop. I'm so grateful to Amir for caring about my bottom line more than he cares about his. This kind of medical integrity is so rare, so if he's covered under your insurance and you're doing research, stop, you found the guy. If you don't have insurance, and you're looking for a top of the line professional, stop, you found the guy. And if you're looking for someone to confidently guide you through your first acupuncture experience, stop, you found the guy. Amir, keep doing what you're doing, you're seriously appreciated! read more

I suffered from a disregulated nervous system and was on a journey to regulate it through many different venues, acupuncture being one of them. Naturally, I had to seek out an acupuncturist. Luckily Amir took my ppo student anthem insurance so it only costed 40 dollars a session which is very affordable for the results. He will work on different points for things beyond what you came in to deal with (for example, sinus congestion among other ailments). He gets to know you on a personal level and makes you feel safe and comfortable. I would recommend going 1 a week maybe once every other week but it really depends on what your coming in for as well as what he recommends. I like to meditate when I get acupuncture and he also applies a heat lamp. You can actually check out a little review of this place and a session posted on my tiktok @aidenatoori . Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for simple yet effective acupuncture! read more

Saw Amir again today. My foot is hurting in places other than the part I had surgery on 7 weeks ago. He explained that I am still guarding that spot, and now other parts are compensating for it. He treated my foot, shoulder, and stomach. Always so comfortable here. He makes it fun, even if some spots hurt a little when the needles go in. LOL! He is always on time with his appointments, and the room is nice and warm. He has great strong massage techniques as well. read more

I have been going to Amir for many years, not sure why it's taken me so long to write a review but he is so deserving of all the stars in the world! Amir is so compassionate and empathetic as a person and has such a craft when it comes to acupuncture and cupping. I am seeing him mostly for cupping now which has reduced my tension significantly! He has helped me in the past with a hormonal imbalance as well. I would recommend him a million times over! read more

I just wanted to update because I'm not receiving therapeutic massage as well as Acupuncture and now cupping from here. First we'll go with the Cupping: Montana- is an expert in the craft of cupping. Now if you think your back looks horrible afterwards it does. But the cupping alternating with the acupuncture keeps my pain levels around a 4 for the first couple of days then gradually back up to a 6. It use to go back up to a 7 or 8 before she introduced the cupping. Phenominal is to say the least. This from someone skeptical to begin with about acupuncture LOL! Angela - I've been through a lot of massage specialists, but Angela takes the cake. She knows how to apply just the right amount of pressure, by reading your body signs as her hand fly around your muscles pinpointing and targeting just the right spots. After she was done with me this last time I could breathe better after she manipulated the muscles around my lungs to release their tension holds. A++ for treatment from her. All of these therapies are alternating, but the alternation keeps me sane and not having to take medications to kill pain, which is a lot healthier for my system. Thank you gals! read more

Montana and Amir are true healers. Their clinic is in a great and busy location, but the minute you step into The Pointe, you feel a sense of calm and serenity. Montana sits you down and asks you a series of health questions in order to better place the needles for acupuncture. She also gives amazing holistic health tips based upon what you share with her. I always get a combination of acupuncture and massage; the best of both worlds! Montana has an amazing touch and I always walk out feeling lighter and totally healed. Amir is just as amazing; I love them both! Amir is great at showing new stretches to help prevent further tension in my problem areas. He is so kind and helpful. I couldn't be happier to have discovered this healing clinic. Definitely try ASAP! Life changing read more

I have been seeing Montana for several months now and think she is amazing. I am trying acupuncture at the recommendation of a neurologist for headaches/migraines. Montana is a gentle calming soul who takes the time at every session to listen to what's been happening and how you are doing. No session ever starts without a chat about you first. Like many, I had never had acupuncture before and Montana explained everything to me and has a very gentle hand. Now to the best part, her massages! Wow, this woman's hands are amazing. The massage is an add-on but well-worth the price. I only wish she did full massage sessions! ;-) I highly recommend her!! read more

I just wanted to update, since long term consistency really shows credibility in my personal opinion. I continue to work with Amir for acupuncture. He is insanely talented, and really helping my body in SO many ways. His work has helped my levels of inflammation, digestion, and physical and mental stress. Plus, he provides fascinating and knowledgeable wisdom and perspective, and I always learn something from him, even if we harbor different opinions on some specifics (such as dietary nuances, for example). I cannot recommend him enough!! Go see Amir at the Pointe now!! read more

I went to see Amir for pain relief related to herniated discs in my neck. What I expected was to meet someone interested in getting a new patient, providing a service and calling it a day. What I got was a compassionate, genuine, honest, humble, kind, invested, knowledgeable and experienced healer who treated me like a whole person and not just a series of symptoms and a diagnosis. His bedside manner far exceeds that of any other medical professional I have encountered. He is reasonable and I get the feeling that he is genuinely interested in helping me feel better. Just two sessions in, I found myself changing my routines to incorporate his suggestions. I have never cut back on Caffeine and Soda in my life - but something about the way he suggested it - resonated with me. I find myself willing to listen and incorporate his suggestions into my routines. I love that there is no sales pitch that comes with his treatments and no pressure. Amir is one of a kind and I feel truly fortunate to be treated by him. read more

Amazing acupuncturist, they have helped me so so much with my neck pain! I have used acupuncture for a number of years for various ailments, everyone seems to have their own methods. That said, Amir's is the best I've seen by far, he gets straight to The Pointe every time and you leave feeling like a whole new person. read more

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Montana has helped with my migraines so much. I was having awful migraines a few times a week and after going to Montana they are gone. My husband goes as well for his neck and feels better. I really can't recommend this place enough. I was referred by a friend and was so happy I went. Montana has the best bedside manner as well and makes the experience very nice and pleasant. read more

Montana is a a truly wonderful acupuncturist. From the initial phone call it was a good experience. She is a good person and cares about her clients individually and always puts in that extra mile. She takes the time to talk with you at the start of every session and really gauge your progress and issues. I came to see Montana to regulate my hormones for infertility issues and without divulging to much personal information I feel she was a great help in helping me achieve my goal. After achieving my goals she continued to check in with me when she knew I was going through some personal ups and downs and is very thoughtful and caring. She really takes the time to help you relax during your session and manage any fears and anxieties. Only great things to say about my experience with her. :) read more

This place is the best I have been coming here for months and love it! I get the massage and the regular session and it is the best way to feel relaxed and heal any injuries! read more

Montana is a life savor! Her Accupuncture treatments and massages have helped me physically and mentally.

I started seeing Montana a few years ago to help with my hormonal imbalances. Within 3 months of consistent appointments & a regiment of herbs , I experienced such a profound difference. We then added in cupping to the mix- to assist with my lung congestion. This changed my world! However, It wasn't until almost a year later that I discovered she offers massage into her treatments. I'm hooked! I am a certified massage therapist (so I'm incredibly picky) & she is by far one of the best masseuses I know in Los Angeles. She is incredibly knowledgable about human anatomy & skilled beyond just Chinese medicine. An acupuncture session followed by a massage or vice versa is the ultimate treat! Highly highly recommend. read more

I've been seeing Montana at The Pointe for about a month now. She has really helped relieve much of my back pain after my pregnancy. I got to feeling my best in no time! She is so knowledgeable, helpful, and takes the time to understand my needs. I currently receive a combination of both acupuncture and massage. Every time I leave a session I not only feel refreshed, but I can breathe a little bit easier. I highly recommend her services!! :-) read more

I have been seeing Montana at The Pointe Acupuncture for a few months now. She has been helping regulate and soothe my menses with weekly acupuncture visits and Chinese herbs. My period is 80% better. It's incredible. I'm also very susceptible to UTI's, and this is one of Montana's specialities. Since seeing her, I have had none. I tribute it to the acupuncture, herbs, and her vast knowledge of Chinese medicine. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable at what she does, she is also a caring, professional master at her craft. I'm so thrilled to not have to take awful antibiotics anymore. And I fully trust Montana and Amir with their skills and knowledge of their craft. read more

Montana is the sweetest most caring person I have met in my last 5 years of trying to find the right approach to figuring out exactly what is going on with me. I originally inquired about her services for my father who is induring severe knee pain and then in conversation I just happened to talk about myself and was so excited to go in to see her. Let me start off by saying that she is pretty knowledgable and patient. She is a good listener and actually cares about her patients. I left there knowing for a fact I am going to be seeing her for the several months. I was beyond happy with my first appointment and I cannot wait to see how my symptoms progress and my hormones get balanced to where I am not dealing with my hair loss nor weight gain. I am excited and have faith that the outcome will be great and a story to share. I highly recommend her!! Oh ya, and its right by my yoga place.. Super convienant shopping center. read more

Excellent holistic approach to acupuncture. Dealing with major back issues, Amir made me feel at ease and instructed me to do some stretches at home, light exercise, and regularly spaced acupuncture. He makes it very easy to open up and talk about the issues you're dealing with. Highly recommended. read more
