From the clean soft sheets (no starched white scratchy sheets here), to the relaxing scent of lavender, you're already starting to relax before the massage starts. Especially if you enjoy the infrared sauna beforehand! As a Nurse Practitioner, I'm selective about who I work with. With David's impressive knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics and sports injuries, I knew I was in good hands. His National Academy of Sports Medicine certifications for corrective exercise and performance enhancement, coupled with years of working with athletes allow him a unique perspective of understanding both the injury and the mindset of the athlete or client, and how challenging recovery can be (physically and mentally). I found David on groupon a few years back now and I'm grateful I did. He's been a great help for rehabilitation from massages, infrared sauna, stretching, normatec and more. He has very reasonable pricing and packages you can purchase. I personally like to buy rehabilitation packages and go in twice a month for body maintenance. It really helps me with my performance at the gym and during my soccer games as well as all my other hobbies like snowboarding. David is one of the nicest guys with a lot of knowledge to share. When I first saw Dave for treatment I was in terrible lupus pain; could barely move. He knew how to treat my condition and showed me some gentle exercises for in between sessions. I'm almost symptom free now and am free of medications. Thanks in part to Dave and a clean diet! Dave is so supportive and caring. He's the best!!! I want to add another 5-star review on behalf of my father - he's passed now. My dad had a frozen shoulder from a golf injury. He estimated that he had 30% movement in his left shoulder. His doctor recommended surgery because he was in discomfort for more than 20 years. Dad just didn't want surgery, so I suggested he try a noninvasive treatment from Dave instead. My dad was always an athlete, over 75 years old, and didn't really believe in massage therapy either. Finally I convinced him. My dad was AMAZED, truly amazed. I am so grateful I found David and DC Dynamic Wellness. I suffer from headaches from poor posture and working on a computer. I discovered DC Dynamic Massage in January of this year when I was suffering from tendonitis and I am a convert. David was very knowledgable about the different muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments of the body, a true professional, and offered a therapeutic massage for my injured self. This is exactly what i am looking for. Sports massage. David was very upfront about scheduling and prompt even when he is booked. I came in because of my lower back from over compensating during my deadlifts. And my right side of my hip being very stiff only from 30min of driving. Where do I begin with this review? I have never requested a massage therapist more than once. When I met David, that all changed. I am a very active person and so bad about stretching or foam rolling after workout sessions. My hamstrings are constantly tight. So naturally, seeing David is a love/hate relationship. He works deep into the tissue to loosen the muscles. It doesn't always feel the best in the moment, but the relief after the massage is the best! David always listens to my needs before the massage actually starts.I have seen him countless times and every time I leave feeling a thousand times better. Over the years, I have seen several massage therapists. It has been a hit and miss experience. Oftentimes, the massages have felt formulaic and not personalized. With David, this is never the case. Every time I see him, he checks with how I am feeling, making sure to know where the aches and pains are. Each massage is totally customized to how my body is feeling that day. I have never had a massage therapist who has such a strong working knowledge of the anatomy and able to put that knowledge to practice by giving an effective therapeutic massage.
