Absolute worst customer service! Nine tech visits and over a month of no internet. They told me once all issues were resolved they would be issuing a credit. No credit. I had Centurylink which became Quantum Fiber and expected the 950 Mbps service I was paying for, but consistently got speeds closer to 50 Mbps. After multiple complaints, they finally sent a technician out -- only to tell me there was "nothing they could do" and blamed my equipment. The problem? The equipment was actually old CenturyLink equipment that Quantum inherited after acquiring CenturyLink. Even more frustrating, a Quantum representative who came door-to-door promised the equipment would be replaced when the technician visited. I finally cancelled and switched to Xfinity. Now I'm paying $10 less per month, getting free Peacock included, and consistently seeing over 1 Gbps speeds with no issues. Very disappointing experience with Quantum Fiber -- poor troubleshooting, finger-pointing, and no accountability. read more

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Quantum Fiber that felt both misleading and completely unacceptable from a service standpoint. I was originally on a stable 500 Mbps plan, but after experiencing ongoing connectivity issues, I was told the solution was to upgrade to 1 Gig. This conveniently removed me from my original "lifelong" pricing plan, which already felt questionable. It came across less like a fix and more like a forced upsell. What's worse is that the upgrade didn't solve anything. My internet performance did not improve at all. In fact, it got significantly worse. I ended up completely without internet for two full days. When I reached out for support, the earliest technician appointment they could offer was several days out. For a service as essential as internet, especially for people working from home, that kind of delay is unacceptable. read more

I purchased a new home 30 days ago and have been trying to get internet service installed since the day we closed. Since then, I have had a total of seven installation appointments scheduled. On the day of every appointment, I receive a text message stating that the technician is running late. However, after waiting and receiving no updates, I end up calling customer service only to find out that the appointment has actually been canceled. At no point am I proactively notified of the cancellation. I work from home, and after a month without internet service, this has become a significant issue. Despite multiple escalations and countless hours spent on the phone, I continue to experience the same outcome over and over again with no resolution in sight. To make matters worse, I am constantly being contacted by AT&T representatives trying to sell me cell phone bundling options. I have no interest in switching carriers. At this point, I can't even get the internet service installed that I'm already trying to purchase. The Internet service, tech support, and the added ATnT new lines are a joke. Spent more than 30 hours over 3-4 weeks dealing with the internet and ATnT cellular service failures. Had an impaired tech arrive at the house... drilled holes, left drywall on the floor, and left with no internet service. a few days of "trouble shooting" and more service staff coming and going. yet again, today, internet out and more service staff coming. The salesman for the ATnT cellular service failed to produce... left me hanging on "cellphone buyout," and I spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone and in the ATnT store to fix his failures. looking back, I would not do this again... they cannot keep the internet working and the ATnT business is a total joke... my first ever Yelp review... read more

Sales people in Bremerton are rude pushy, and will continue to come back to your house asking you the same question if you're interested in their service, they will not take no for an answer. They are so rude. They will show up at 9 PM knocking on your door trying to push their sales onto you. This is the same gentleman who is always coming through my neighborhood and I've told him no several times but obviously he doesn't get the memo and will continue to come to your home and harass you. Even if I was somewhat interested in getting this service, I wouldn't because of their rude pushy sales. I even made a complaint through their online customer service I talked to a human gave them all my information told them to put me on the do not solicit list and what do you know the next day they came back. Was great at first, but guessing the ATT purchase destroyed customer service, throttled speeds and is now charging me on 4/13 $479 for their crap $39 routers that I sent back and they confirmed receipt on 4/3. They couldn't even find them even after I proved confirmed delivery. Final straw was outtage and then service appointment 5 days out.... For those of us work from home this is a hard no. We have been without service for 4 days now and have received 3 updates as to when we can expect service again. The 1st two updates were we would be back online in one day, then 3 days and now almost a week. I know numerous people in our community, including us, that work remotely. This has a huge impact to our livelihoo. I understand that some outages are out of their control but, to not have procedures in place to rectify ANY issue within 24 hours is absurd! This is also not even close to the 1st time that this has happened and not once have they adjusted our bill to remove the days that they did not actually provide their service to us. Horrible service! I have had Quantum fiber for 3 months because I am locked into their service through my apartment complex with no other provider in this area. They bought out CenturyLink and I have had problems with them the entire time. Three outages in 3 months and two of those outages have lasted a few days until I could get a technician here. Their technical support is an absolute joke! You get somebody from another country and they tell you to use a paperclip to push the reset button on the modem which sets it back to the factory settings. This makes the problem worse according to the technician that came to my home. They have to completely reset everything during the appointment. I have tried unplugging the modem for a minute or longer and that does not help. The only resolve is getting a technician here which is time off of work and extremely frustrating. If you are fortunate enough to have a choice of Internet providers for your service, do not choose AT&T Quantum fiber. They are horrible! read more

After our CenturyLink service was down, we had to switch to Quantum service to get a service representative to our house and fix the issue. It took 2 weeks for them to fixed the problem and installed new hardware. The internet last about 6 hours before it went out again due to faulty modem. They are not able to come back to the house for an entire week. This is completely unacceptable! Both of us work from home and will be losing income. Their customer service is outsourced and was NOT helpful. A agent named Tashan #AD51684 insulted me by continuing giving me brush off answers and false phone numbers. I went with quantum fiber in mid 2025. It was ok at first and I did the $65/ 1gig plan for Lifetime. It was good for a while and started noticing dropped internet always said insecure internet on my phone, most days. I called them 3 times yesterday. First call: Girl said she did not see any interruption in service. I told her several of the neighbors have the same issue. She was suppose to see if she could reset from office. Second call got the same representative, she apparently didn't even try to reset my service . And I told her it was still not working. Third call same representative, told her it still is not up and I need Internet to work even phone, not to mention everything else. She said we will have to send out a technician and I'm leaving a lot out now... she came back and said, tech. Is scheduled for June 26th. I said that 26 days from now, no way that is possible I can't be with out service for 26 days. She said well we can expedited service to tomorrow which is Saturday, May 30th, between 8-12. The catch is it has to be approved by a supervisor and not a guaranteed until saturday morning. Well I didn't get that appt. No call no yes we will be out today. I got my sms message, said appt is set for June 26th, between 8-12. One more call today Saturday May 30th 8:30 am this morning. Called to cancel, I told the guy on the phone I can't wait 26 days to have Internet in my home. Ya know this blew my mind!! He says your acct is to far away, we are unable to Service you, and the 26th is the earliest we can be out in your area. Wow, like that's stupid, that is what I told him besides saying, why would they put this in our area, if they were not planning to service on a normal service. Their information and web site even says we have great service for issues... do Not get this quantum's fiber. I have had Quantum Fiber Internet for 3 weeks. In that time I have had 1 tech come out to fix my internet. 10 minutes later it went down again. Everyday for 3 week I lose internet service 1-4 times a day. Having to unplug or factory reset my equipment. This morning 6/13/26 I lost service at 10am and tried to get it back up and running, but after 30 minutes I gave up and just left it unplugged and left my house. I returned home about 9pm and plugged it back in and still the green light is flashing. I did another factory reset and still no service. At this point they can come and get their crappy equipment, refund my money and I will seek service from someplace else. I highly recommend that everyone should stay far away from this company. Unfortunately I have to rate it with 1 star because this is the only option I have. But it is a total big fat ZERO too me. read more

The installer cut my neighbors line by mistake , leaving him without Internet for three days.. I made so many phone calls, trying to speak to someone in customer service at&T. Now they tell me they can't get someone out there for three days to fix their mistake.!! Everybody passes the buck and says it's not their department. Worst experience with and I've only been a customer for a few days. When they sign you up for service and take your credit card, they make it seem so flawless. But he came back and knocked on my door 30 minutes later AT 9PM after I told him my kids were in bed, and his knocking made the dog bark and scared the crap out of my kids. Let's start with the sales pitch at ATT store promising a rate that will never change. That's false. Free pods for the whole house. That's fake. Let's then go to the installation subcontractor that refused to install through our attic. They wanted to drill a hole in the side of my house. We refused and canceled the installation. Then QF called us begging to try again. Told us that the install in attics all the time. Even gave me phone numbers to call if they refused a second time. Today the same subcontractor showed up and refused to install. I called QF as I was instructed and was told they don't install through the attic. My only option was to show them to do a hike in the side of my house (into my living room) and then run ugly wire along my ceiling into my office to get it to the modem/router location. Quantum fiber was one of the worst companies I've ever worked with. I have real estate in Vegas so I figured I'd give them a chance. WORST WIFI IVE EVER HAD. Started off on the cheapest option and constantly had signal drops and bad connection. I upgraded to the best plan they offer to still have horrible connection. Kelvin their supervisor was absolutely no help. I had multiple technicians come out and install useless signal boosters around my house. Service got worse. They came and removed them. Still bad. My internet went out, and after doing all the troubleshooting on my end with the customer help, I was told a technician had to come out, but the earliest appointment was over a week away. That is completely unacceptable, especially for someone like me who works from home and relies on internet access to do my job. I tried to escalate the issue to a supervisor or management to get an earlier appointment to get it fixed, but they refused to connect me with anyone higher up and told me "they would escalate it" but my appointment never changed. I contacted them 3 times. If the delay is due to a shortage of trained fiber technicians, then the company should not have expanded its services before having the proper support in place for the high demand. When I asked how to file a formal complaint, I was told to just tell the representative on the phone my complaint. There's no email address, no survey link, nothing that allows customers to formally submit feedback so the company can actually improve. Where does that complaint even go? It certainly doesn't feel like it leads to any real accountability. This experience has been beyond frustrating and unacceptable in today's world, where reliable internet is essential. I would rather pay more for a provider that actually delivers dependable service. read more

They have been charging me for service for two weeks already but I can't even use the service because they never shipped my router. I have called them twice and chatted online once to no avail. On my account my router still says "we're preparing your order for shipment"... but they are happy to charge me for service in the meantime. We were "migrating" Century Link customers Quantum Fiber inherited. They have shut off our service twice with basically impossible Asia based "customer service." We do not understand how an existing, functioning fiber optic line paid in full would be shut off arbitrarily twice. They have literally taken something working and broken it. We are working from hot spots from our phones until the Starlink equipment arrives. My wife's job depends on reliable internet. Notice also this is written during tax season, so downloads are a white knuckle affair. Keeping my phone on an ice pack so it doesn't overheat. read more

They came out to bury my line while I was at work. I get home and no internet so I called customer service and they had me re set the router and still no internet. I ask why didn't they check to see if the internet works after they bury and re connect the line and they told me they are sub contractors and not techs. Quantum is a complete joke and they don't care!! Do not give this company your business. Their install technician have no clue what they're doing and are not trained as professionals. They destroyed my lawn and house burying a fiber line around the entire block when the proper hookups were in the back of the house just like I told them. They hired some 3rd party immigrants who showed up in a trash bucket of a car with 3 shovels and had no clue what they were even doing. Fiber line broke 3 times and they never bothered to come back and install it properly after wasting hours of my time. They sent a sales rep out to try and sell me more useless crap who was completely worthless. Their customer service is just a call center overseas reading off of a screen and talk over you the entire time, providing ZERO support. I had Internet service in Colorado, FWIW. (Not sure why I can't find any of their locations searching Yelp from the Detroit area.) I had a protracted conversation with the salesman who came to my door, who assured me at least 4 or 5 separate times that none of the equipment Quantum was giving me ever needed to be returned. I asked so many times because I didn't believe him when he said nothing had to be returned, under any circumstances. Lo and behold, when I ended my service months later, I started getting emails from Quantum about having to return their "pods". Customer service simply told me that the salesman was lying to me. So, I'll have to return the pods when I can, but in my situation, not having planned for that, that will take a few months. They'll ding me with a $200 charge for the equipment, which I can eventually get back when I return the equipment, but I'm frustrated that they weren't more forthcoming about things. They provided decent internet, but I probably wouldn't go with their service again. read more

They cut the Spectrum wire to my house when installing their fiber optic wires in my neighborhood. They damaged one of my neighbors sewer lines too. They then harassed me for weeks by soliciting at my door (in a no soliciting neighborhood) to try to get me to sign up for their services. read more

They start off good for the first couple of months and then they show their true colors. Quantum Fiber is nothing more than a cover front for con artists and fraudsters. I am paid up on my bill which is not due until today when I'm writing this review, but I do not have internet. Why you may ask? Because these con artists double billed me for a bill I already paid and shut my internet off in a clear attempt to extort a double payment. Not to mention their "customer service" consists of foreign scammers hiding in third world countries reading scripts because they don't speak or understand a word of English because they can't muster up a single brain cell between them. If you are looking for honest dependable internet service this is not the company for you. If you are one of their current victims, I strongly advice doing as I did and filing federal complaints with FCC and FTC. This con ring does not deserve to stay in operation and the only way to shut them down is for everyone to file reports against them. This service absolutely sucks! First off, the initial installation was botched. They are supposed to send out the crew who run the wire from the street to your house first. But for us, they sent out the final installer who comes into your house to install the modem and wi-fi first. Not once, but three times! Finally, they got that straightened out, but it took a month. So, we finally got the service up and running. After just a few weeks, their modem quit on us. I called and a tech guy tried to fix it remotely, but no dice. So the final straw was that he told me it would take four days for a tech to come out to fix it. Well, after all the crap I went through, I wasn't going to be without internet for four days, so I canceled the service and got our Cox service reactivated until Google comes to our neighborhood, hopefully soon. read more

Unreliable internet. I've had QuantumFiber a very short time and it has been constant outages. Seems that the merger might have some bumps but I'd rather go to xfinity than wait it out. Internet/DNS outage every week causing everyday users to just be without wifi. There are solutions for the DNS outage but it's not easily accessible for the average user. Check reddit for a solution. I have very slow speeds when I am paying for 1GB. My speeds are 64.1 Mbps download / 39.1 Mbps upload. I was told to just downgrade instead of getting a solution from customer service. Website is buggy and impossible to navigate. Customer service is useless. They don't actually track outages, you have to navigate to 3rd party sites. Good luck! I absolutely hate it. read more
