Tom has always been right there for me and keeps my computers in fine shape! He is respectful, generous and professional! To anyone commenting on the labor costs, I ask, "well then why don't you do it yourself?" Thirty years ago I went to school for PC tech and repair. I didn't keep up with the ever changing world of computers and it changes daily! After being in school for 5 years, I just couldn't go back to computers as much as I loved them. Respect the technicians for their knowledge so that you can get on with your busy life! I am so thankful to have Dover Computer here... He is the best I have dealt with in years!!! read more

Took care of my problem quickly and efficiently. I have always relied on the expertise and knowledge here!

They have a sign in the window listing hours of operation as 12-6pm on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. Unfortunately, I have arrived at noon exactly on Monday and Wednesday of this week only to find them NOT open with no explanation. Their voicemail box is full, and online inquires have not been returned. What is happening? read more

labor rate must be 300$ dollars an hour, 30 minute hard drive replacement and storage upgrade cost me 280$, 150$ for labor 130$ for equipment. I feel completely violated. Asked for a quote beforehand and was ONLY given equipment price. DO NOT COME HERE read more

We're lucky to have this business in Dover. I brought my laptop in today. It worked fine this morning but quit working this afternoon. I walked in to Dover computer and they immediately started working on it. I walked out with a machine that worked again. Thanks Dover Computer Repair. read more

I had an account hacked and it was terribly unnerving for a senior citizen who has limited technological skills. However within 24 hours my computer was repaired and running better than ever! I was so pleased about the way things were explained so I could easily understand them, the service was professional and I would recommend them without reservation! read more

KLI Consulting Group of Dover has been using DCR for over 10 years and they have gone over and above in helping us to down size and conversion to a remote office environment. This included new software, hardware and communications between our employees. read more

I just want to give as many stars as there are to give for the kind and brilliant young men who repaired my old Toshiba for 50 dollars.

I'm glad I went off the reviews of others. I called at 5:55 to ask a question, but he needed me to come in, they closed at 6 and I was 15 minutes away, he assured me it was okay and he'd stay late for me. The man and his father were extremely welcoming and very nice people! They repaired my laptop and I was on my way. Very knowledgable and pleasant experience. Thanks for the great service! read more

If you want Italian cuisine, don't go to a Chinese takeout. If you want a truly exceptional, professional maintenance team of experts to treat your computer to a day at the digital spa, don't settle for any less than the crew at Dover Computer Repair. I brought my computer to them on a Friday for a thorough cleaning and upgrade to the RAM and hard-disk drive. After the weekend, I picked up a squeaky clean, high performing "Screaming Meanie" that doesn't just surf the web, it Jet-Skis through it! Don't let their immaculately clean front lobby fool you though; their thoroughly kempt appearance belies an ability to get the job done, no matter what, PERIOD! These folks aren't afraid to climb under the hood and get grease under their nails. They don't say they think outside the box, they say "What box?" You don't have to face the maintenance of your precious link to the rest of the world all alone. The internet is a sea of cross currents, undertows and jellyfish. Dover Computer Repair is your life line to safe harbor. read more

I've had two experiences with DCR - both positive. Years ago, they replaced a laptop motherboard that was fried by a power surge. Worked great for years until I broke the monitor. They did a creative repair of the damaged monitor saving me money and getting me use of the older machine. They've always done right by me. read more

I was having problems downloading a program onto my computer so gave DCR a call. I was expecting to have to bring my computer over, but he immediately started troubleshooting using a remote access program. 20 mins later my problem was fixed and he gave me some helpful hints. Even refused to charge me for the time. I'll definitely use them in the future! read more

I, too, went off the reviews on deciding where to go to get my computer repaired. So glad I went to Dover Computer Repair, as they are deserving of the 5-Star Rating. As soon as Andy looked at my computer, he thought it was a screen problem & not the computer itself. Said he would run the diagnostics to be certain & it *was* a screen problem. They ordered a new screen for me. New screen arrived quickly & was repaired the same day the screen came in. Charged just for the price of the new screen & the normal repair fee. Very reasonable on both counts. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend them. read more
