I learned about QualSight through my health care plan after inquiring if I was eligible to have my insurance plan pay for Lasik. They referred me to QualsightLasik as their participating consultant. After contacting Jeff Zapata at QualSight, he explained the entire Lasik process and what I might expect. He set up for me a Lasik consultation with my doctor which was Eye Care Associates in Metairie, LA. Everything was done for me and all I had to do was show up. The screening and evalaution process to dertermine if I was a good Lasik candidate was extrememly thorough. The process was not a gimmick, but a true custom Lasik evaluation. My overall vision and eye health was examined to determine what type of Lasik procedure would be best for me. After that point, my Lasik procedure was scheduled and explicit instructions were given to me on what to do on days leading up to surgery day and the day of. Eye Care Associates was very thorough, professional, and explicit about my eye care. The night after my procedure was done, Dr. Landry of Eye Care Associates called me at 8:30 pm to check on me and see if there were any complications. I saw him the day after surgery as a normal follow up, and then about three weeks later again. All of these examinations and post care are incuded in the price of surgery. Dr. Landry even wants to check on me one more time in three months to look at my vision and the results. The surgery and results were perfect. Just had my lasik eye surgery at The Lasik Vision Institute in MN thanks to Qualsight Lasik. What a great experience! I had previously visited another place for an initial exam and left feeling like it just wasn't in the budget. After finding out about Qualsight Lasik and talking to Jeff, I found out I was able to get a discount on the procedure at qualifying locations. With that discount along with The Lasik Vision Institute's great pricing, I was able to feel comfortable about moving ahead with the procedure. My intital screening was very thorough and didn't take too long. The staff was very polite and didn't treat you like just another number. They were very easy to work with as well, especially in finding a day convenient for me as I live a few hours away. The day of my surgery was no different. There was a bit of a wait, but they tell you to expect to be there for 3-4 hours, just didn't realize a lot of that was waiting but the procedure is quick. They do a great job of getting you prepared and taking the time to make you feel comfortable about everything before leaving. Since my appointment, I've had some questions and had to reschedule my appointment due to schedule conflict. Each time, I was able to speak to someone (I could clearly understand) right away and had no problems finding a different time for me to come. I opted for the lifetime coverage option, so I will be returning to The Lasik Vision Institute for my post-op appointments and expect nothing less than the great service I've experienced already. I was very nervous about having LASIK done for many reasons. I had an extremely high prescription and severe astigmatism, so I was even nervous to go for my qualifying appointment because I was expecting to be told that I was not a candidate. The other part of my nervousness was financial; I was really concerned about how much the surgery would cost and if it would be financially feasible for me. Fortunately, my Qualsight representative (Jeff) helped me through the entire process with patience and expertise. He gave me his direct line and answered all of my (sometimes crazy) questions competently and in detail. The doctor I was referred to (Dr. Barry Wasserman) is also a wonderful, patient, skilled professional. He and his office staff made me comfortable from my first visit and answered all of my questions in detail. The surgery went very quickly and well, and all of my follow up visits have gone well too. My only issue (and it's completely an individual thing) is that I will need touch up surgery because the LASIK did not completely correct my vision the first time. This touch up is completely covered by the initial cost of the surgery, as are the glasses (low prescription) that I need to wear in the meantime until I'm eligible for the touch up. I literally stumbled upon QualSight on the internet while doing research on Lasik surgery. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. Of course the first thing that jumped out to me was the discount. The cost of LASIK deserves a good discount but I wasn't willing to compromise on the quality of the surgeon or the surgery. From my first call with the QualSight representative I knew that this was going to be a good experience. The representative was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all of the cost and assured me that the costs were refundable if, during the specified time frame, I changed my mind. QualSight does all of the leg work for you. They research the best surgeons in the area and sets up an appointment for you. I explained that I needed to see the surgeon within a certain time frame in order to utilize my jobs HSA and the representative made sure that I got in in a timely manner. I was so pleased with the surgeon and my surgery, but more importantly I was overly impressed with qualsight's follow up. After my appointment they checked to see if everything went well and after my surgery they followed up to see if I was enjoying my new vision. I called Qualsight after I heard about the company at work. I didn't think I can afford Lasik surgery. Jeff at Qualsight explained the whole process and helped setting me up with Vista Eye Center, which is the best office in my area. Vista staff took great care of me and Dr. Kinsler saw me every other week until my eyes was 20/20.My vision was so bad that I couldn't have the Lasik and had the PRK procedure instead. Nevertheless, the whole process was so easy. I thought I couldn't afford to go to Vista because they are pricey. With Qualsight I saved $640.00 (my sister didn't go through Qualsight and had the same procedure on the same day.) I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses over 15 years. The cost of contact lenses and glasses for 8 years equals lmy PRK procedure. I travel for business all the time, and now I don't have to worry about contact lenses solution, contact lenses case, glasses, extra pair of contact lenses. Yay. While researching Lasik options I found that through my vision insurance Qualsight had a pre negotiated rate. The price difference between them and any Lasik surgeon in Alaska more than paid for our trip to Seattle. The staff was very accommodating with my schedule and I couldn't be happier with the results. During my surgical visit the doctor realized due to the shape and size of my eyes it would not be possible for me to have Lasik but offered to do the PRK instead, the cost was the same but the recovery time was a little longer. PRK is more painful but overall a better option for my lifestyle, the first few days after surgery I was miserable and wondered if I had made the right decision. Not that I was misinformed at all I just heard what I wanted to hear. By day 3 I had stopped taking the pain medication and was able to see better than I have in years. I had to do my post surgery exam with an eye doctor in Alaska after I returned home and the doctor was impressed by the results. All in all a very good experience and I am very glad that I did it and glad I went to Qualsight. read more

Qualisight is high quality for a great price!!! Backstory...I wanted to free myself from glasses,went to a highly reputable provider for a consult years ago and was told I was not a good candidate at the time because I am farsighted and my vision was still changing. I recently went back to that same provider and was told now I would be a good candidate. My husband encouraged me to get a 2nd consult because his friends said their fees were really pricey. Best experience I ever had at a eye office. The whole process was fast & convenient per they are open on saturdays.! The receptionist was real nice and informative and answered any questions I had. They helped me understand my payment plan and options as well as the difference between Lasik and prk. The doctor was very nice and helpful. Just everyone around seem professional. I was a little nervous but they told me exactly everything that was happening and going to happen while doing the procedure which helped. If seriously was so fast! In and out within an hour it felt. I've been wanting Lasik for years, but as a PhD student, funds are obviously low. I randomly came across Qualsight Lasik while researching the lasik procedure and gave them a call. This was an absolute amazing experience. When I went in for my first appointment you could see they were short-staffed, but they ensured that everyone was checked in on time and were given an extremely friendly welcome. I am totally blown away. I had an issue with one of the Lasik Institutes, mind you I did not use QualSight to book (big mistake). I called QualSight to gather information on pricing and explained to the rep my issue. She informed me that I should really speak with her Manager Juan, and insisted that I do so. QualSight advertised much less expensive prices than elsewhere I found on the net. They apparently work with LASIK-qualified doctors in my area (Bloomington-Normal) and negotiate a price that is cheaper than the physician-advertised prices for various procedures. I appreciated the hand-holding, the detailed explanations as the process progressed up to the day of the actual procedure and afterward, with Qualsight verifying that my appointments were set properly, that I knew how to get there, and knew who and when I was seeing.
