I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this company. I came in hoping to replace both my…read morebedroom windows and the sliding door in my living room, and from the very first interaction, I was met with nothing but warmth, honesty, patience, and professionalism. Nan was the one who initially educated me in the office, and she was absolutely incredible. She took the time to walk me through everything, answered all my questions with so much clarity and patience, and genuinely wanted me to understand what would -- and would not -- solve the issue I was experiencing. Her knowledge and care made me feel respected, informed, and never pressured. What completely blew me away was the honesty. Despite being more than capable of selling me new windows, they were the only shop that told me the truth: the change I was hoping for couldn't actually be achieved through window replacement alone. That kind of integrity is rare and speaks volumes about this company's values. Then there's Roy -- one of the owners -- who personally made the journey out to my home to further educate me. The fact that an owner would take the time to come out himself, explain everything in person, and make sure I fully understood my options is something you just don't see anymore. He was thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly generous with his time. And yes, fair warning -- Roy looks like he walked straight out of a magazine. Be prepared to be completely stunned by the presence of an actual god while receiving some of the most honest, professional guidance you'll ever get about windows. Even though they didn't make a sale this time, Lion has earned a customer for life. I will absolutely return for all my future window needs and recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. Please don't ever change, Lion. Whatever you're doing is working beautifully. Everyone was so kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. Huge gratitude to Nan for her education and patience, and to Roy for going above and beyond by coming to my home. I can't recommend this company enough and wish them nothing but continued success.

FIND ANOTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR WINDOWS! I have never encountered a company that makes it so…read moredifficult to get a window. First I was quoted around $700 for a picture window for my attic only to have Art, the sales person, completely disappear. 5 months later when I reached back out, he quoted me double the price for the same window. I get that things cost more, but double? Art came out to measure the window (I had to give him my own ladder and flashlight which on one hand is totally fine but on the other makes one question the professionalism). It took another 4 weeks for the "head installer" to come out who I never saw or met (why are we measuring multiple times and why is Art measuring?) Then I received a shady invoice with no company letterhead that requested payment to the sales person's wife. When I asked how long it would take and if he could call the manufacturer in advance to get an estimate of time - he said no. So one has no idea how long it's going to take and you have to pay first to get an estimate on time. Then the sales person abruptly said he would pass on my project, assuming because he did not like my questions on time of install. I tried to call the office to talk to someone but no one ever answers.

I had asked if they could send someone out the same day, but since I was a little further (I live in South Pas and they are deep in LA near USC/Coliseum) and because it was the slider, they recommended I bring the window in and that it would be easy and really inexpensive. Well, she was RIGHT! When I got there with the window, she simply looked at it and said, ok, about 20-25 minutes and it would be ready. In all actuality, it was more like 15 minutes and price I was quoted over the phone was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS since I had brought it in myself! I literally stopped for a second, looked at my fiance, shook my head and said "can you say that again?" Because of her accent, I thought I misheard her...nope, my ears weren't deceiving me! I was seriously expecting to pay anywhere from $150 - 300 as quoted from other places with the same window of it's size. Let me just tell you...I was amazed when she said the price was under $50!!! A couple things to consider first before driving down to the shop. A) It's not in the best of neighborhoods, so if you have a fear of low income areas and drive a fancy car, you'd best use the mobile service. B) They accept cash or checks ONLY. Luckily I had some cash on me, but when asked if there was an ATM around (when I thought the price was gonna be what was quoted over the phone), I was told there is one in the store next door to the glass shop that charges a $6.00 service fee. Yikes! So if you are in need of a quick window fix, with fast and friendly service, and is CHEAP...then Home Window Express is your place! Hands down, I will use them again and again!

I also had a rep from a chain home improvement store come to my house to give me an estimate and researched retrofit window types and guidelines online. Ultimately, I chose to go with Los Angeles Windows and Doors based on price, great customer service from Jesus, and turn around time. Jesus replied quickly to multiple rounds of questions and sent his installer, Ezekiel to do a final measure at the house. He also came back and boarded up the window prior to installation. I received confirmations and ETAs for each portion of the job. Day of installation- Ezekiel and Hugo arrived on time. They installed the window, put a drop cloth inside the house, vacuumed inside, and cleaned up around the work area. They reinstalled shutters at my elderly mother's request and moved back all porch furniture. All workers were polite and professional. It was also finished 1-2 weeks from first contact. Another warehouse store had quoted me 8 weeks for installation.
