I can't believe I forgot to review them Last time. The guy comes in and does a great job. Quick and easy. Good price too read more

Good business. Very helpful and fairly priced. Would recommend to anyone needing anything to do with windows or screens

Ok, these guys are the BOMB! I had a broken window, the slider, that needed to be replaced. I called for an estimate and it was easily given over the phone, although the woman's accent was a bit tough to decipher. I had asked if they could send someone out the same day, but since I was a little further (I live in South Pas and they are deep in LA near USC/Coliseum) and because it was the slider, they recommended I bring the window in and that it would be easy and really inexpensive. Well, she was RIGHT! When I got there with the window, she simply looked at it and said, ok, about 20-25 minutes and it would be ready. In all actuality, it was more like 15 minutes and price I was quoted over the phone was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS since I had brought it in myself! I literally stopped for a second, looked at my fiance, shook my head and said "can you say that again?" Because of her accent, I thought I misheard her...nope, my ears weren't deceiving me! I was seriously expecting to pay anywhere from $150 - 300 as quoted from other places with the same window of it's size. Let me just tell you...I was amazed when she said the price was under $50!!! A couple things to consider first before driving down to the shop. A) It's not in the best of neighborhoods, so if you have a fear of low income areas and drive a fancy car, you'd best use the mobile service. B) They accept cash or checks ONLY. Luckily I had some cash on me, but when asked if there was an ATM around (when I thought the price was gonna be what was quoted over the phone), I was told there is one in the store next door to the glass shop that charges a $6.00 service fee. Yikes! So if you are in need of a quick window fix, with fast and friendly service, and is CHEAP...then Home Window Express is your place! Hands down, I will use them again and again! read more

JESUS is truly our savior!!! He just came and replaced our 24 x 48 in less than an hour with such precision! I've been calling around and even a contractor could not quote us a better price; let alone do the work we were looking for. This business deserves more than 5 stars! -PROFESSIONAL -FRIENDLY -TIMELY -COST EFFICIENT -EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP I will be calling back to get all of our window work done through Jesus! Keep up your great work!! read more

It's true when they say everyone needs a little "Jesus" in their lives! We needed a handful of window screens replaced, a broken door glass replaced, old wood windows that were painted shut needed to be repaired as well as a front security door that needed a new screen. Found others who reviewed him on yelp, and gave them a call. I spoke with Yolanda who was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. She gave me a ballpark quote and took down all of my information. Jesus showed up later that SAME DAY to repair and replace everything right then and there! He was also able to give me some other suggestions around the house which we will do in the future. Jesus is your man. Don't be afraid of this Yelp merchant. He's not a flake and these 5-stars are well earned! read more

Jesus did a really professional job. Really nice, on-time, called to confirm appointment, took his shoes off before entering without me even asking, and laid down a drop cloth around the window to be repaired. I called on a Sunday, even though Yelp said they were closed, but Jesus picked up the phone and said they were closed but he could come out and fix my window anyway. I told him not to worry about that and set up an appointment for 10 am the next day, Monday. He came on-time and fixed my window quickly. I asked him if he wouldn't mind if I watched and if he could explain to me what he was was doing so that I could fix it next time, and he cheerfully and patiently did. $125 to come to my condo and fix/replace the upper (fixed) pane of an aluminum framed window. The glass was about 34 inches x 24 inches. read more

I own an apartment building and one of the windows needed repairs. I called Home Window Express based on the great yelp reviews. Yolanda was nice enough but told me that we needed to know the measurement of the window and what it was made of. I'm more accustomed to someone coming and giving an estimate, but I called the tenant anyway to keep them informed and then called Yolanda back with the information. I also asked her to call me to get payment information. The tenant told me that they came out with the wrong materials and then said that they wouldn't be able to come back. They never called me back to say anything at all. Poor customer service. I guess they don't need the business. read more

While moving furniture in my living room, this past Tuesday afternoon ( around 3 pm) the large coffee table smashed and shattered the huge 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 arched glass front window of my 1927 year old Hancock Park Spanish style home. I was devastated and started calling around town to see who could come out. Thank God I found Jesus and Home Window Express! I made calls to three other places: The Glass Doctor ( who wasted 30 minutes of my time to tall me they couldn't even come out for a week and that they charged for consultation!), New Vision Glass etc., Jesus from HOME WINDOW EXPRESS came out within an hour ( no charge) as promised, measured and told me he would be back Thursday with my new window. He made it sound so easy! I was worried that the quality would not be up to standards of my gorgeous Hancock Park home, ( the broken window was original with the house) but it was better than expected. Tempered glass even so the broken glass/ shards will not happen again. He was a godsend and I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and neighbors! FANTASTIC WORK! VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST! VERY REASONABLY PRICED! FIVE STARS JESUS! THANK YOU! read more

My windows needed to be fixed and I called this company this morning. They came to my house the same day and fixed not only the one window and screen that I requested, but stayed later to fix 2 more windows that needed to be fixed. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely recommend this company. Jesus was very nice and professional. Thank you for your service. read more

Home Window Express - the front of the building - Windows Installation Near Me - Los Angeles, California

A get together with good friends got a little crazy and ended with my 3ft by 6ft single pane window crashing down in a million pieces. Thank God no one was hurt, but I picked up the glass worrying about paying for rent and the repair! After an early Friday morning Yelp search for home window replacement Jesus and Home Window Express looked like the right match. I couldn't have been luckier! After a conversation with a very sweet receptionist, she squeezed me in for the early afternoon same day (12hrs after the window broke :) :) :) Jesus drove out from East La to Westwood and arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. The work was quick (1 1/2 hrs) and good. Honestly I expected it it be a multi day process because of the age of the building. The cost for the 3ft by 6ft on-site window glass replacement was $250. I had horror stories of much worse. I gave him a decent tip and thought he deserved it. The only downside is that he does not accept credit cards, so have your cash on hand if you chose him. Thank Jesus and Home Window Express. read more

Jesus and Home Windows Express definitely live up to the perfect rating! My wife and I decided to get a quote from Home Windows Express to replace all of the windows in our Mt Washington home. Based off of the positive Yelp feedback, we felt good about having them give us #s, but a little concerned that they were "quick replacement jobs" installers, but maybe not the most qualified to replace all of the windows in our house. Proven wrong again. These guys came out and professionally installed 12+ large, double paned, energy efficient windows (half with sliders/screens) for under $4k parts/labor. The place seriously seems like an entirely different house (in a good way). Jesus and his team are very fair, courteous and best of all professional! HIGHLY recommended! (PS drop me a line with your email address if you want to see any pics of the completed work) read more

I called them for a window replacement same day and they for me in right away. Jesus cleaned up along the glass inside and out after doing a great job of replacing the broken pane and the cost was really reasonable - I got quotes from a few places and they were right in the middle. Highly recommend them to everyone! read more

Thank you Yelpers for posting a review on this place. Had a large crack in one of our larger sliding windows and decided to take it down to the shop. The lady was really nice and said it would cost $35 to replace and she could have it ready by the end of the day. Window looked great when I picked it up and it was an quick and easy process. I do agree with the other reviews that this place is in a pretty shady part of town but on a positive (I think) I must have seen about 3 police cars go by in the 10 minutes I was there. They can also come to your house but I think the price they quoted me was about $150. read more

Called them for an estimate to repair a window lock and replace a screen and the woman who answered the phone was kind enough to tell me that since I had Milgard, Milgard would replace the lock for free. She was right and I'm thankful that she shared that information with me and saved me the cost of repairing it myself. read more

Yolanda (the lady who answers the phones) is extremely friendly and helpful. Jesus the window technician is punctual, respectful and efficient. They are dependable, proficient and competitively priced. Highly recommend these folks!!! read more

Jesus at Home Window Express was awesome! After waiting all morning for another window company to show up ( they didn't) and we wasted half of a beautiful beach day, we look on yelp and called Jesus based upon the ratings.. Wow. Glad we did that, He quoted over the phone, set a time when he would be there, he showed up and fixed the window in about 20-30 mins. Best money we ever spent. read more

This place is fantastic. Jesus, the guy who does it all, has great prices, does high quality work, and above all, takes pride in what he does. He was very conscientious with keeping our condo clean by bringing in drop cloths and taking off his shoes, all without being asked to do so! The price was excellent when compared with others in the area and the outcome looks great. (Estimates are free, of course.) Our neighbors commented on how professional our new windows looked. Our windows were not regular-sized either, being from the 1950s where modern design went for these ultra-wide (and therefore irregular) windows. Jesus measured, took a look, and said, "no problem." No problem, indeed. read more

Didn't show up! I read the positive reviews on Yelp, so I called them and made an appointment. They called and left a message confirming the appointment 20 mins before he was scheduled to be here. I was in the front garden weeding (fun...not) and waiting for him. When he was a no show I went inside to call and there was no answer. I got hold of them the following day and they said I should have returned the call to confirm the appointment...BS. No confirmation call was ever requested when I made the appointment. I was the last appointment of the day (3pm) and I think he just wanted to go home. Not professional! Very disappointing. read more

I'm having the windows in my entire house replaced but they wouldn't even deal with me because I'm in the Valley (only 26 miles from their location). read more

Great people. I stopped by their shop at 4:45p on a Saturday with a broken window (it was the sliding part so I just took it out), and had the window back by 5:30p - they were nice enough to fix my window first! The neighborhood isn't the best, so if you're worried, you should call Jesus for mobile service read more

Jesus at Home Window Express replaced our dining room picture window after it was broken in an accident. I was able to make a same day appointment. He arrived early with a smile, was very professional, got the job done quickly, and the price was better than expected. I would highly recommend Jesus for any window repair needs. read more

Jesus came by and measure all 13 windows and 1 sliding door, all with low E. He quoted us $8,000. Unfortunately we did not go through with the installation due to our constraint budget. We had to cancel the work order a day after the initial $4,000 deposit. Jesus is a nice person to deal with. We also dropped by the store and it was in a not so nice neighborhood. This is not a review on their work quality. read more

Yolanda and Jesus are the absolute best! I've been using their glass services for years and have recommended them to many of my clients. A 5 star company! Had a attempted burglary a few weeks ago at my home and the burglars bent the aluminum window frame trying to get inside. Once we tried to open the window, we noticed that it wouldn't close all the way. Tried to repair it ourselves but for some reason, we still couldn't get the window to close. Called Home Window Express and due to being overbooked, they could not get out for 48 hours. The wonderful woman I had spoke to on the phone reached Jesus and he was able to come by the same day to repair it! Would recommend this company to all my friends/family and neighbors! Superior customer service and communication! Cost was reasonable as well! They gave me the best gift I could ever ask for! Peace of mind! Thank you!! read more

I'd say above five stars if I could! Excellent, excellent! I called Home Window Express to see if they could repair a window and screen door in our 1930s spanish house with original windows/doors. What a great service!! One of the glasses of my french window frame broke and I was looking for someone that would help me with that. I searched in Craigslist only to realize that people there asked for a ridiculous amount of money even for a small job. I decided to give Yelp a try (since I Yelp everything else!) and I found Jesus. He was just here and I have to say: what an excellent service! He was on time, fast, polite and left the place squeaky clean. Dont hesitate for a minute and give him a call if you ever need to have anything fixed at home. Thanks Jesus!!!! read more

Amables, muy buen servicio y rapido gracias Yolanda y Jesus.

I needed to replace a broken window for one of my units. This place was very close to my property so I decided to check it out. Pros: the lady there was very nice, I told her I found her on yelp and she gave me a really good deal on the window. She also replace a broken component that allows the window pane slide across the track for free. And the price for the repair was very reasonable. Con: I dropped off the broken window in the morning, she told me to pick it up on a couple of hours and when I returned she told me she forgot to do it. I waited about 15 to 20 min for her to complete repair from beginning to end. She did a good and I will definitely come back for future repairs. read more

Jesus came to our home to fix a pane of glass. He was fast and professional. And, for a home visit, he charged less than our local window repair shop would have charged. We HIGHLY recommend Home Window Express. By the way, we chose him because of his other positive Yelp reviews. read more

I have nothing negative to say about Jesus. He's professional, knowledgeable, fast, has affordable prices and is a downright nice guy.

I called today and needed a screen put on the exterior of a window. I was told someone would be here between 4p-5p. A very nice guy came right on time and did the work. While it was a little pricey for what was done ($90), I was just happy to have it done today. I had left messages for 5 other companies over the last few weeks and none of them called me back or they didn't service my area, so I would definitely call Home Window Express again. read more

I have used Home Windows Express a few times and will continue to use them. They have done new installations of windows on a couple of different real estate projects of mine. I needed a same-day window replacement in my home and called four other companies (BreakThru Glass, Atwater Screen & Glass Shop, Glendale Glass Co., Screen Master Door & Window) and each seemed very confused by the idea that I needed a window replaced or how to go about coming to my home in less than a week to fix it (despite the fact that all of their names come up when I searched for 'same day window replacement'). I finally called Home Window Express, and the lady that answered the phone took my information, said she would call back within 5 minutes with an estimate and a time that they could come today to fix my window. A few minutes later she actually called me back with a fair price quote, and an appointment time within 3 hours. Jesus came to my house, saw the broken window, and immediately got to work like an absolute professional. After he completed the job he charged me the exact price that I was quoted on the phone, and politely and professionally was on his way. What a pleasure to work with a company that not only says they specialize in same day glass replacement, but ACTUALLY DELIVERS! Why are there so few glass companies in this area that respond in a professional manner? I definitely know that if I need a window replacement in the future that I will be calling up Jesus at Home Window Express. read more
