Really great experience, one of those moments where you really feel good spending money at a business! I took a chance and called Greg on Labor day on the off chance someone was there and could help me make an appointment for my 2019 Sonata. My call went to voicemail, but within 15 minutes Greg called back and let me know he'd be able to get my car done that day. Right now, Greg's doing the jobs out of his townhouse but his garage is set up very well, and you can tell right away he's busy - always a great sign! Talking over tint options, i chose the ceramic tint based on Greg's recommendation and i'm very glad i did! The ceramic tint really cut down on the heat in my car, and the job was done flawlessly - looks amazing! While i was there to pick up my car, another customer showed up to pay Greg some money he owed him for another job, and we all got to talking. Was excited to try this place out after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, the owner never showed up for a 9am Saturday appointment. After several attempts to call, text him with no response, we drove off after waiting an hour. His text response an hour and a half after the set time was, "I don't know how this happened..." Really? You may do great work, but when you waste people's time and don't keep your appointments, it doesn't matter. I ended up saving money and getting my windows done the same day at a nearby competitor. Tint failed on one window a year after installation, but Greg told me to come back to get it fixed for free because he guaranteed his work. Waited for more than an hour outside his shop for my appointment but he never showed up. No return calls or texts. Very unprofessional for a contractor to miss an appointment without calling the customer to cancel or reschedule. A huge waste of my time on my day off, and I drove 45 minutes to travel to his new shop in Oswego. The kicker? A competitor who fixed and analyzed Greg's tint job on my car said I was duped and overcharged. Apparently Greg installed an inferior grade of tint but charged me for the more expensive material. Buyer beware. Shady practices here. UPDATE: After posting my review, Greg contacted me and offered me a refund (which he then withdrew) after I confronted him with evidence of his scam. I give this business less than one star, actually. I drove past this location a few times in my travels around the area and decided to look it up on Yelp when I decided to get the windows on my car tinted. Lo and behold, the Yelp reviews are great. So, one Saturday morning, I call. Left message and never heard back. But I was not sure about getting the windows tinted, so the fact I never got a call back was not a big deal, despite my leaving a message and hearing that the number listed was reachable via text. On my message, I left info that I too could be texted. But never heard back. About three weeks later, I am planning a big road trip ahead of me that I would feel more confident completing with tinted windows. I search Yelp again, find this place and figure if I call early on a Saturday, I can get someone since this place has so many good reviews. So I call early on Saturday, get the same voicemail. Except this time the voicemail box was full so I was unable to leave a message asking to give me a call. Instead, I text the number as well as I wanted to come by Monday, if possible, as I assumed that someone was there this day working on cars or answering phones. I was flexible for other days but if Monday could work, I'd go for that. The next day Sunday, I had heard nothing..and since I wanted to get something done sooner not later, I decide to just text them back to say not to bother returning my call, never mind. I get a text back, supposedly from the owner or their reps (person never said who they were) saying that the business is closed every other Saturday so the owner can be with his son or something along those lines but that someone was going to go through the calls Monday morning. from my previous experience, I'd say that was unlikely. If it is the case that you want to spend time away from your business...why not put that on your advertising so people can know the correct hours of operation? Do you not care that can cause people to consider you unreliable? When I told the person that they might want to consider updating their internet marketing to reflect that, I get told "Thanks for your opinion." Thing is, I would have brought my car and spent money with you, but you didn't respond back or have current strategy based on poor marketing so as a business, your company lost my dollars and I'll be going somewhere else for my needs and be sharing my experience with others, potentially costing you MORE dollars. That's not opinion, that's fact. I'd give it less than zero stars for the crappy attitude. read more

I found Quality Window Tinting on Yelp and I thought I'd give them a shot. The goal was to tint my wife's car because the sun really overheats my daughter's car seat and bothers her eyes. We were using sunshades but decided to give it a shot. I went legal 35% all around with the ceramic tint which gives even more heat protection. So far the quality on the work is excellent. It looks like it was done at the factory. No bubbles whatsoever. I don't think I will have any problems. The entire process took about 2 hours. It was Saturday morning and the place was pretty busy. I was one of the first people there so I got a spot on the couch watching some x games. Greg was very professional, yet laid back and friendly. Not too salesy, and you could tell he enjoys his work. I would gladly go back and tell everyone I know to go here. I'm not sure if it was because of the holidays or weather but I was also able to squeeze in a Saturday morning appointment even though I only called 5 days earlier. Awesome. Oh yeah, depending on your map service, it may give you the wrong address. It's actually about a block or so west of 59. Right north of butterfield on a frontage industrial strip mall. Owner operated small business with professional services. All of my cars have been tinted with this company, great prices and just as the name states, quality work. I also had my son's room done as a baby to block out the bright rays, and have recommended a lot of happy friends here to have their condos and homes done to save their carpet life (from fading) and cooling bills. I love that you get a quote before you decide and love even more that they are priced under the competition. Got tints on my car from this place. I was a little thrown off when I found out he operated out of a townhouse. Regardless, his garage is pristine and has all the tools/materials any proper garage that tints would have/need. I dropped off the car and he was done within 2 1/2 hours, and he completed another car in that time. Great service Greg. He did a great job with the tints. He even locked my windows and placed a bright orange sticker over my window controls not to open/wash them for 3-5 days as the film dries. The only thing I did not like was that he did not tell me there were going to be bubbles and that they would settle over the next several days. They did disappear nonetheless, but I wish he told me about that. His work is second to none though. read more

I thought bubbles would show up after the weather finally warmed up, especially because I went a bit darker than the state " recommends". I was totally wrong.
