I DeWayne came out, tested the water, and recommended a whole house system. It was not cheap, but the system was to take care of impurities AND carbon with this single unit. Seemed reasonable so we agreed.There were few problems with the system in the beginning, but he was responsive and worked with the manufacturer to get it stabilized. Or so we thought. Six months later, the system had issues again and DeWayne was not answering his phone and it seemed his company, America's Water Doctor was out of business. I called the manufacturer Pacific Source direct and was told the warranty is only issued to the installed. The is NO warranty to the consumer at all. Today, 4 years later, I am looking for a new water softener and guess who shows up? Yep, DeWayne opened Water Factory Outlet in Meridian, ID. I called and left message for DeWayne - but, alas, no return call. He is lickity-split fast to sell you a system. Not no fast to respond on service. You decide for yourself what is important to you. If you want the system but not the service, this guy is for you. Be sure to call the manufacturer about his terrific warranty, too. Ask them if the warranty is issued to the consumer or only to the installer. I just hope I help others from getting scammed by this guy. Oh, and why 2 stars, not one? The unit itself was good, it is the "disappearance" of the installer that's bad.

He is so polite, very professional, communicative and take so much pride in his work. He was apprehensive at first to do an outdoor shower for liability purposes, but still came to spec the job, which I really appreciated. He ended up taking the job and was exciting about the challenge and the design and went as far as doing research on how he could make the water valves safe from freezing in the winter. He just went above and beyond every step of the way. I really appreciated the complementary home inspection of all the plumbing inside and outside the house PRIOR to starting any work. That was so smart and so nice and it actually turned out to be a life saver for me when he found a pin hole leak in a pipe underneath my house that had been leaking for weeks! Immediately after installation, my reverse osmosis system had zero water pressure. When I contacted Michael, he told me to just keep purging the system--which I did 15 to 20 times with no change. ​Yesterday, my kitchen flooded. The leak originated directly from the alkaline filter he installed, causing extensive damage to my cabinets and flooring. When I pulled the filter housing off to inspect it, I discovered a brittle, degraded O-ring and realized he had installed a used filter. I opened the casing, and the inside was packed with thick black and gray sludge. ​Michael is completely ignoring my calls and refusing to take responsibility for installing contaminated, used parts that caused thousands of dollars in property damage. Today, Blake arrived right on time to service our heater. He got right to work. Each time I checked in with him, he provided an update on what he was finding. Fortunately each report was positive and our system checked out perfectly. He changed the filter. I told him about what we thought might be some baby critters (field mice?) might have been in our crawl space based on some chirping/squealing noises. He volunteer to go down in our crawl space to check it out. He very thoroughly checked every foot of the crawl and found nothing. He confirmed that our crawl was in fact air tight & vented via our HVAC system. He was eager to insure that our minds were at ease regarding the performance of our heating system. He even brought to my attention that our water heater system has a very slow drip at a pipe joint so that I could call someone out to check it out.
