I called and left a voicemail about some palm trees I wanted trimmed and then skinned, he called back right away and we setup a time frame for him to come quote the job, he showed up on time and quoted a fair price. We setup a Saturday 8am appointment for the job. His crew was parked in front of my house at 7:50. They were in and out in about 2 hours and cleaned up like they were never here. I tipped them $40. I contacted Gaspar on Saturday afternoon to have 5 trees thinned and trimmed. He arrived the same afternoon and gave me a very reasonable price. He also said they would do the work on Monday morning. Called them up and the owner showed up and told me $275 to trim the tree up. Good size tree with plenty of clean up after. They came back in about 3 hours and had the job done in about 3.5 hours. I got bids for $250 and up. Some of those did not include hall away. This job was done very well from start to finish. They have great reviews on Yelp for a good reason. Also I have found in the past that there can be a language barrier when dealing with companies that deal with outdoor gardening. They speak both Spanish and English perfect. Gasper came the same day (yesterday) and looked at the trees I was looking to remove. (4 palms in total - 2 Mexican Palms including the stumps). They came first thing this morning and they are done! It looks fabulous and I am very pleased. All of the Palms surrounded our pool and there was a minimal amount of debris that is in the water. Much less than from one afternoon of natural flowers from the palms themselves.
