She must have helped us on 8-12 occasions. Nadine was the best kind of helpful, always aiding us with the difficult decisions and compelling is to perceiver (in a positive way). The 2 guys who loaded my daughter's U-Haul in Arlington Virginia were great. They wrapped all the…read morefurniture, paintings, tv etc. with the blankets we rented. This was a small studio apartment move. They were careful while loading and tying everything down. I rented the 2 guys for 2 hours. This was the first time I ever used movers to load and unload a truck. I always did moves myself. The movers who unloaded the truck in Minnesota were done in an hour and 20 minutes. $250 was the charge and I tipped them another $100 because they were so professional and friendly. Exactly 3 minutes after the two hours at 12:03 John called me. The way he started out I thought he must have been sitting there staring at the clock because his first words to me were, are the guys finished loading. I replied they are standing right here. They have three small pieces ready to go on the truck. His immediate, and I mean immediate response was, well I don't do increments of minutes or quarter hours so if you don't want to pay $130 for them to load those pieces tell them to stop. Being in upper management most of my working life I would have never began the conversation in this manner. I'm 72, I knew how to get myself or my company recommended by others. I told the guys to stop loading, I will finish this myself. John heard me tell them this because I had him on speaker. I wanted John to hear me tell the guys I don't want to get you guys in trouble, I'll finish up myself. John started to say something after I told the guys I'd finish up myself, but I hung up rather than continue listening to him. Had I thought about it I would have gotten the phone numbers of the two Arlington men who loaded up the truck and told them when I hear of one of my daughter's friends moving, or one of the people I know, I will call you and tell you I have a person who wants to deal with you guys but not John. Do it on your own personal time. Start your own business. This is how the guys who unloaded the truck in Minnesota got started. They've been doing it 12 years and I can see why as they unloaded the truck. This is never about money with me. I tipped the Minnesota guys $100 and I had no problem paying the $250 for an hour and 20 minutes it took them to unload. I could have used them 40 more minutes and had them unwrap everything and set everything up, but we wanted to do that. It wasn't what John said to me, it was how he said it, then tell the guys to stop, as if that was supposed to make me say oh no, please, don't stop, I'll pay the $130. It's a person's choice how they wants to run their business, however, this is not how you get a recommendation when you start the conversation in this manner. You can use the exact same words used on me but by using a different tone it will not cause the the customer to say, I'll finish it up myself. I'm giving 5 stars to the two moving loaders who were so professional.

I had a very good experience with All My Sons. The team was organized, efficient, professional, and…read moreworked hard throughout the move. I also thought the service was a good value for the level of work they provided. What I especially appreciated was that they worked with me to find a solution when my plans changed. At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

Looks like I am not the only one, don't know if that makes me feel better or worse. When I called Karen was awesome and I was so excited for the service. Silly me. I have moved 10 times before this in as many years. This is BY FAR the worst experience I have had. I KNOW how long it takes to move my place. Not only did this take more than TWICE as long with allegedly a whole other person, they brought a fourth unauthorized guy. And still took more than half the time. One guy sat in the truck most of the time, I have pictures, the others didn't start on my kitchen until the end, had to wait for that....later to find out when I went back to the old apartment they hadn't even finished the whole kitchen ...ran over my allotted time at the building I was moving out of, at my cost. And then they ruined my couch. So I paid DOUBLE what I was expecting, which was already more than what was quoted cause I was adding a little buffer, but ended up tipping a whole additional person because I'm not a jerk. The guys were nice but inefficient. Kept saying this is what you get with a higher quality mover, but it was not even a better experience. They were wasteful with the amount of packing supplies they used, never presented or communicated the prices of the materials they were using, which I was told was included anyway but also others I never approved or asked for. Just popped it on me in the end. Oh and then they say "we are going to adjust your time by 15 min you'll see a refund on your card" and two and a half weeks later still waiting for it to even show pending at least. But you better believe the charge was instant. I was debating sharing my feedback but was so mad I finally emailed the company. But no one had even dignified me with not even an automated response, just silence. So I come here to do something I pretty much never do. But that's how annoyed I am. Sorry but would rather recommend. Cheap Movers, way better. I used last move were a thousand times better and a QUARTER of the price. I'm not even cheap but I hate being taken for a fool, and it turned out to be just that. That's what I get what I get for using hourly movers for the first time, never again. A slow work scam, exactly what I was worried about, but like an idiot I bought into the reassurances Karen gave me but they truly let her down. I hope she knows they're having her selling lies.

The Two men that showed up, Saul and Abe, were very kind hard working veterans. I've moved many…read moretimes and wished I could have had them every time along the way. They were very careful and thoughtful with our unloading and kind enough to remind me to drink water. They were very kind to my wife and patient with my kids running around as well. They came prepared and ready to get the job done. They were also a pleasure to be around during the process. Extremely valuable and worth every penny and deserve more. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone moving in the area.

Absolutely do NOT trust your move with this company…read more Flaky, rude, unprofessional, sham, inconsiderate, etc Spoke on the phone with Saul 1.5 months prior to my move date and he told me everything would be taken care of. He sent me the confirmation of my move with the date and time and details. I text a week before the move. no response. text again a couple days later and now "there is no appointment or confirmation on file" EVEN THOUGH I WAS SENT THE CONFIRMATION. I called multiple times, sent to voicemail. Left about 5 messages and sent texts. No response, He finally answered and told me he could call me back (this is 4 days before my move). no call back. every other call i made was sent straight to voicemail or no response. DO NOT TRUST THEM. they told me they never had anything on file with me. I was luckily able to cancel the payment from my card company.

We weren't able to give much notice but they were able to move some things around and squeeze us in on a day they were booked for. We were told they would shoot for between 2 and 3 pm. The day before our move, we were exhausted and not prepared. We called McKendree and asked if they could add another guy, because we were not even close to being prepared enough for the movers to come. The owner was so kind and said he could send his nephew (who was working for money for college during the summer) to our house in the morning to help gets us packed. His nephew showed up at 8 am. He definitely had his work cut out for him. What a respectful kind and efficient worker! The movers showed up at 2:15 as promised and worked until almost 11pm. We had some difficult stairs and angles to get around and they maneuvered our furniture delicately with ease. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and they were hard workers.
