Our move was a bit of a tough case but Hoffmann did a great job in navigating it. For the amount of stuff we had and the amount of work they had to do, I feel like we paid a fair price. All the guys were friendly and I appreciated that they were mindful of my cats while they were having a blast chasing after everyone, and that they were also mindful of closing doors behind them, even when they were carrying furniture out the door. I can not say enough good things about Harold and his team. During a medical emergency, we had plans to move my mom and with less than 48 hours he was good to move. Even after that fell through because of continued medical treatment, he was flexible. We were so pleased, we used him multiple times after to help my mom complete her move. We even used his clear out service to get rid of things we couldn't find a home for. They're reliable and very hardworking. I'd recommend them highly. I spent about 2 days reading reviews and requesting quotes for my long distance move from MD to NY before deciding to work with Hoffman Transport. It was a VERY smooth move. Harold went out of his way multiple times to accommodate my needs. I am extremely pleased with his services. I recently used Hoffman Moving and Transport to move my 82 year old very ill mother from PA to MD and this company was amazing. They are very respectful, careful, and do an amazing job. This was no easy task since she had to leave before they were even there to pack up her house. Mr Hoffman stayed in contact me through out the process. Harold and his guy were very hard working, reliable and they're fast! They will place the furniture wherever you tell them to put it and they put together my bed post. If you are in need of transporting a vehicle or moving your household goods, do yourself a favor and go with Harold Hoffman. Avoid the headaches of contacting or being contacted by those companies that will give you the run around. I received quotes from other companies that we're ridiculously too low and too high, I seriously did not know who to trust to pick up the vehicle and drop it off. I read reviews that involved people losing their deposits, quoted a price that is too low so they ended up paying more to get their vehicle after it gets picked up, and the worse one of all was about this poor lady not receiving her car till 4 months later (and it was damaged so she ended up suing the company). After receiving numerous phone calls and emails from companies with bad reviews, I decided to go with Hoffman Transport. Harold completed a vehicle transport for me from Elkridge, MD to North Haledon, NJ for a reasonable price and I am glad I hired him for the job. He was very professional and kept me updated throughout the whole process through messages and even pictures of the vehicle on his truck. Harold and his guys were professional, polite and proficient - everything you'd want in a crew moving your home goods. They managed to download a 27' truck full of my home goods and tchatchkees and fit all of that into a 10x20 storage unit in the blazing heat and still keep a sense of humor while doing so.
