We find the service and reliability unsurpassed, and with the recent additions to the staff at Hubbub, we are energized about a bright future and a continuing loyal and trustworthy relationship with this company. We recommend them wholeheartedly!! Sidebar: I find the statement that Hubbub gave out one's personal information to a third party highly improbable. Before making such an accusation, one should keep in mind that freedom of speech does not extend to defamation statements, and accusations like this one shift the burden to the accuser to prove. Next time one thinks about making such an egregious remark, one should know that outright lying is considered defamation and individuals who take part in these types of activities (even on public review websites) can and usually will be held liable.

We stayed in one of their apartment for more than 2 years and when we left we cleaned our apartment throughly and no damage was done to the property except normal wear and tear. They charged us $70 dollar for cleaning which make no sense, it was already cleaned. And $80 for carpet cleaning which is acceptable. And they also charged us $100 for replacing gas drip pan which only cost $25 at any store. So, if you find any fused bulb or wear and tear of gas drip pan, buy it yourself to safe all those extra cost. They will charge you for any wear and tear, no matter how long you stay and how well you have maintained it. Very disappointed.

James the property manager I had was super reasonable and nice. They got things fixed quickly in the event you had anything go wrong. The repair/handy men they used were all very polite and professional. They are very reasonable for cleaning fees, etc when you move out, they don't come up with nonsense reasons to keep your deposit. They also provided me with a detailed list of the few things they did have to clean or fix/charge me for. I was just very pleased with the entire experience with them. If I'm ever in need of renting in Redding again, they'll be the first place I check. *sidenote* They deal with some kooks as renters, I'm sure, so I'd take negative reviews from people with a grain of salt. I rented for a year and a half or a bit more from them and was completely satisfied with their service. Pay your rent on time, be a good tenant, stay out of your neighbors business, don't trash a house or leave it a mess, and you can probably get along with nearly any rental company I'd say.

If a home is damaged or the tenant's animals damaged a home, the dog doesn't pay, the tenant does, sorry!

The first was an Town house in the Enterprise Area, I was told to meet her and sign paperwork at a certain time and place. After waiting there for 4 hours, with her manager and me trying to call her, I gave up, The next day she called and told me she had been out of town....Then came the ROACHES!!! They "sprayed for roaches several times before I moved in" I had the apartment sprayed ONCE ON MY OWN DIME, and NEVER saw another one. The oven and 3 of the 4 burners on the stove didn't work the day I moved in. I had to call WEEKLY for 5 weeks in a row, getting angrier and angrier with each message until I finally got a new oven, One I got with a tongue lashing for complaining so much from the husband as he installed it! The apartment had swastikas scratched into the fence on the back porch (something I didn't notice until I moved in) which I was told to DEAL WITH, So i painted over them! The apartment had NOT been cleaned before move in and the holes in the walls from the person before me hadn't even been filled! I was then docked $100 on my deposit upon move out for painting, and filling holes (mine and the old ones). 3Plex downtown Redidng Place was dirty on move in but it seemed nice. Ants were a problem and ALL The large windows leaked during the rainy season. The washer and Dryer hookups were a headache from the start. The Wiring was so old NO dryer would ever work, and I was told by Sears, if I hooked up a dryer the house would probably burn down due to "REALLY OLD OLD OLD WIRE"S" Then came summer and the swap cooler didn't work, at all. And after 2.5 MONTHS of (my) bitchy calls, and her husband's (his quote) "Riging up the old one" (so it worked for about an hour) she finnally had a new put in. And it worked great. I loved it there, we did lots of small fix ups, and even cut the grass around 2 of the properties (one right behind the other) because it wasn't getting done. IN FACT I was told NOT to water the grass and plants so "They wouldn't grow so we dont have to deal with them"..... But it was an okay place to live and the price was right.... BUT THEN I MOVED OUT! I put in my 30 day notice 45 days before I was going to move out. I cleaned the house, even got stains out of the carpet that were there when I moved in.... She sent a letter saying I would receive my deposit 21 days after move out (which after renting many places over the years I knew was the LAW) Well its day 31 Since my move out. I've called and left SEVERAL messages (because she NEVER and I mean NEVER answers the phone), each one a little more angrier then the last, and finally 2 days ago threatening small claims court if she didn't send a check (where I would sue for 2 times the deposit amount because thats completely within the law). Well today she called (thank goodness. I really didn't want to sue anyone) and after a very rude phone call I get to pick up my check) BUT If your low income and need a place that doesn't cost much, and no credit check, Hennion is the way to go.... Just be prepared to deal with VERY LOW standards, NO return phone calls, MONTHS for ANYTHING to get fixed, BUGS, and a rude woman on the phone when you finally have to tell her that your going to get the LAW involved to get anything done (like I had to do with the Stove, The AC and MY DEPOSIT.... and GOOD LUCK IF YOU RENT FROM THEM!!!!

My…read morefiancé and I were moving to Redding from LA and I contacted their office about a rental I found on Craigslist. They got back to me almost immediately and was able to let my mom into the house the next day to check it out for me! We decided we wanted to rent from them and Apryl in the office was extremely helpful and diligent during the process. Finding a rental and being approved from 8 hours away is not an easy task but Apryl and Kelly made it happen for us and I'm so grateful for them! Any time there was a maintenance issue, there was someone to fix it the next day. They respond to emails quickly and always send out informational letters to tenants about things we need to know.

I scheduled a viewing of what looked like available property, confirmed the day of and had a walk through with Mike. At no point was it mentioned someone is already closing on the property. That same day I filled out the application. The following day the property is removed from their site. I tried calling the office and Kelly said Apryl is not available but she would call me back in 45 minutes. I did not receive a call. The following day I decided to try again, realizing they close at noon on Friday, I was greeted by an answering machine. Then I notice I received a generic email from Apryl, telling me unfortunately it's been rented. This email was sent at 12:23pm, 23 minutes after closing. It's already frustrating looking for a rental, waiting on processes that you have little control over and to be ignored on purpose. Then to receive an email after closing hours to avoid talking to a customer. Incompetence is the only way I can describe my experience with Places and Spaces. An honest, 2 minute phone call would have been the appropriate way to handle this.
