I would love to take a moment out to share with you my wonderful experience with Cynthia and Doug…read moreChristian at Waldorf Signs. Our foundation, "Y-U Breast Cancer Foundation", was all set for our first Road to Recovery Excursion to take a three-time breast cancer survivor on a trip. We were scheduled to get a Class A Motorhome, but two days before the planned trip, we had a set-back. I didn't know what to do, so at the last moment we rented a SUV. I had never done business with Waldorf Signs, and I took the time to stop in, share my sadness about what had just happened and Cynthia was so patient and compassionate about my story. After allowing me to get my cry in, we decided to get some car magnets created to get placed on the SUV so that we could continue with our trip. In less than 48 hours , Cynthia called to tell me the magnets were ready. All I could do was cry of joy. As we traveled for hours(from the Western Shore of Md, to the Eastern Shore of Md and Delaware) in the SUV with the beautiful designed car magnets, people were looking at our beautiful signs and we received "thumbs up" as we traveled. At one point, when stopping to get fuel, a lady came over to us and opened her jacket, to show us that she had on a survivor t-shirt. She shared with us that she recently had undergone a breast cancer surgery and to tell us how inspiring it was for her to see us in the SUV with the beautiful foundation's logo and wording. I give Waldorf Signs a "10". Please consider calling them if you are in the need of signs, or car magnets. They are the BEST!!!! . ~Dee Burrell Founder/CEO Y-U Breast Cancer Foundation

I had minutes to spare to secure another available vendor to arrive at an anniversary event boat cruise in time to board and prepare for the event. I bided the job out to several vendors and decided to go with Exquisite Imaging to support my local area. Although $100 over my originally contracted price, it was worth it due to the limited timeframe. I also had to include the photographer as an event guest, so I paid the extra $170 for him to board the ship. He definitely had great energy and fit in well with my guest. Sincerely grateful for the great presence. My only gripe, and it is a very big one for me, is that while in the process of waiting for the link to my event photos, he shared my link with my guest (most unpaid by the way), they were sponsored and their tickets paid for as well (FREE for THEM), just like his. That was not cool at all, and not his call. He only had one customer, that's me the PAYEE! My goal, as mentioned to the photographer, was to build the event book with the digital photos that I paid him to take. Mind you, he shared them without consent. He mentioned that he wanted to make the customers and guest happy. Wait what? There is only one customer that shelled out almost $600 ($400 for the photography job; and $170 for his premium dinner cruise ticket on the Spirit of Washington), a two-hour event to celebrate my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. His obligation was to honor my request. Not go all out and give out my paid for products to others for free. I had not had the opportunity to even review for appropriateness or decide which items I was going to include. Very bad business. "People don't care how much you know, until they know you care." The main request my mother and father had for their anniversary was the photo book. I was livid to say the least. My contract was one-on-one with the photographer...One customer. The pictures were great, but my business experience with him just washed out all of the good from our very short union. I could legally make him accountable for his actions but am choosing not to go that route for the good that was there for a split second. The experience ruined his entire purpose for being there. Done!

    Staples - Left border missing

One word... lady. One question, which one of us is employed by Staples?…read moreHere's what happened.. I took an Amazon package there for returning. I had the product in the original packaging and shipping box. Thought I was being helpful. The representative said, you can take it out the box. I said, excuse me. She repeated herself. So I took the product out the shipping box. She then said, after finishing the return, you can breakdown your box and put it in the recycling cart at the end of the aisle. I said, excuse me? She repeated herself. I replied, nah.. that's sounds like your job. Hearing no response, I walked off. Really annoyed with people. I didn't go to the self service counter, which means I didn't want to do it myself.

Ugh... I was honestly trying to give them a break because I…read morelike the manager that took my order originally back in late January. Her name was Jayla. Didn't want to write this review, but enough is enough. It's been a series of misadventures trying to get a simple business card order completed. It started out as a simple 250 card order, but at this point it's a 1,000+ cards that are free. Even that's not worth it considering the continual careless errors and the amount of time I've wasted driving back and forth to this location. Won't bore you all with all the gory details, but suffice it to say here's a summary of the last 5 months with them. All totalled, I've been here about 9 or 10 times since this odyssey began. Each of the below errors has resulted in an additional visit. * Misspelled my name - twice * Email address wrong - twice * Title wrong - twice * Picture missing completely on back * Picture inserted but top of head cut off * Left border completely cut off Since January, I've spoken with countless people, many of whom are no longer there including the store manager who has been replaced and Jayla is no longer here either I don't think. Talk about turnover. I've heard every excuse under the sun from the design formatter being sick/doesn't work on weekends, to the cutting machine not working to every *Covid* excuse imaginable. Today I brought the cards back to Tyrone who's supposed to correct them- again. He was the one that gave me the last order that he supposedly checked first. Current store manager, "Khadijah" also told me the order was fine. True 1/3rd of the way up the box, but the last 2/3 were missing left borders - which I didn't notice until last Thursday having picked them up a month ago. I have to treat this location like I do drive-thru fast food orders. Be sure to check every item in the bag before you pull off! The good news is every (other) time they screw up I get additional free cards, but even "free 99" is not worth the added headache and hassle of incompetence. I've had a previous decent experience with business cards at another Staples location, and was therefore very surprised and disappointed at the lack of professionalism at this location. If you plan to come to this location, please pack your patience.
