First, they told me they ordered the replacement tire -- but when I called on Monday to check the status, they admitted it was never ordered. They placed the order then, and by Friday, I was told my tire was finally ready. After picking it up, I realized they had ordered the wrong tire. On top of that, my wheel had several major scratches. Thankfully, Salvador, was very helpful and understanding throughout all the issues. He helped get the correct tire ordered and did his best to make things right, which I really appreciated. Still, when I went back to have the correct tire installed, the wheel came back in worse condition than before -- this is a new car to me, and my wheels were brand new when I brought them in. They did offer to reimburse me for the cost of having the wheel powder-coated to fix the damage, which I do appreciate, but honestly, that doesn't make up for the carelessness. I now have to spend my own time and energy finding someone to repair something that should never have been damaged in the first place. First photo was Friday, the first time we picked up the wheel. Second photo was today after the correct wheel was put on. ****EDITED**** 11/27/25 I received an email from the support team saying they would reach out, yet it has been over 2 weeks and no response. I did have to take my vehicle to another shop because Discount Tire did not balance my wheels, and weights had been knocked off. Not only that, the new shop informed me that my wheel is bent. I was never made aware of this in the many visits to Discount and multiple times they had my car/ wheel. If i could rate 0 stars I would.

We were going to be here a month and it was hot so we needed it repaired. A perfect scenario for a mechanic to rip us off and believe me, they tried. We took our car to Silverlake Automotive on Sherman to start. We just asked them to check the AC. They of course came back with "looking over" the whole car and giving us their recommended fixes, including our AC. It was $7800 worth of "repairs" and $3200 of that was for the AC clutch, flush, etc. but they made the mistake by telling us that they looked at our carfax to see what repairs and services we had done to determine their recommendations. Mind you our truck is a 2015 that we bought brand new and it only has 48k miles so not sure how they came up with some of their recommendations. One of the recommendations we literally got done before we left on our road trip to Idaho so I knew it was BS. They also told me they needed to do the flush and extra stuff for them to "guarantee" their work so basically you are paying extra for their guarantee. I felt ripped off. We had to pay them $200 for the analysis though, but I knew we only needed the AC clutch and compressor repaired and also researched that they can tell if your lines are contaminated to where they would know if they needed to flush the lines. With that being said I submitted that analysis and quote here on yelp and it was sent to a few mechanics in the area. They all came back with less quotes but still expensive. Like $2k-$2200 and I had researched it really should not cost more than $1800 on the high end. I called Appleway Automotive based on other reviews and they said he was honest to a fault so I called them and talked to Todd. I told him I needed the AC clutch and compressor done and asked if he could give me a quote over the phone. He had no problem doing that and ge also confirmed he would be able to tell if the lines would need to be flushed. He quoted me $1200. He was no BS. He made an appt for me a day and half later and said he needed my car for a day and got it done same day and didn't even call me to tell me I needed to flush the lines. When we dropped it off, he didn't try to do the small talk "I'm going to rip you off" nice talk they all do. I cannot say enough about his service and would highly recommend. I even sent my in-laws to him the next week as they were visiting and had some repairs that needed to be done but had the same issues we had with mechanics trying to require more than really needed to be done! Todd mentioned that he can't compete with all of these other companies advertising and reviews mean the world to him so this is me helping him out for helping us save $2k. Thank you Todd!!

I understand sales are important in that line of work but how quickly his tune changed was extremely gross to me.
