Luis communicated well via phone and text, and came out to my house to measure the tree box and provide a quote. He also measured the existing bricks on another tree box in my yard so that he could find bricks to match. On both days of the project, Luis and his coworker showed up on time and did excellent, careful work. I love how they cut the brick into little triangles to make the corners look good. The tree box looks amazing and is a big upgrade from what I had before. The price was exactly as quoted, and Luis gave me a receipt showing the material costs. I highly recommend Luis and Concrete Creations SD and would be happy to work with them again!

We liked the ideas the architect offered but not the cost as quoted by the contractor the architect referred us to. So we decided to contract our own specialists - act as our own general contractor. SD Paverscapes was one of three paver contractors we contacted. Luis was quick to respond and listened to our ideas. He provided us with a plan we loved and a price we could handle. The installation crew was absolutely first rate. It was a pleasure to watch craftsmen apply their skills! The result is fabulous! Honestly, it turned out better than we had imagined! As with ALL contractors, you - as the client - need to always be communicating with Luis. We made slight modifications to our original plan as the work progressed, but they all were fine because we were in constant dialog with Luis.

Aaron was our sales contact, and he answered all my questions before I signed which made us feel good about using them and had some good suggestions. Their model of doing whatever we need and mixing with what other contractors we use is great; we for example purchased a quartzite slab for the kitchen and Rock N Block did the rest. The prices were very reasonable as well, and looking at the end product I think it was a great deal. The rest of the team, Alexis and Jose, did a great job keeping us updated and keeping our property clean. I'm not sure who the guys were that did the counter build, I think it was someone and his two adult kids, but they did an incredible job and it seemed like they took the time to do quality work. The rest of the project ran into some difficulty with the electrical hookup and gas move, but Jose still got the work done on time and worked well with our countertop fabricator to coordinate what they needed and when to install Overall went really well and would recommend them for any sort of hardscape project.

We had a fantastic experience with GAIA Builders & Pools from start to finish…read more Eli, our project manager, came to our home, listened to what we wanted to accomplish, and really understood that our priority was fixing the underlying issues--not just making the yard look better. Of the contractors we met with, GAIA also provided the most reasonably priced quote. What really stood out was Eli's focus on doing the job correctly from the ground up. We had areas where the ground had sunk, and while some contractors seemed more focused on the aesthetics, Eli focused on the foundation and drainage. His crew leveled and properly prepared the ground, installed new drainage before putting down the new turf, and leveled the dirt underneath our deck and replaced it with rocks. We felt confident that we weren't just covering up the problem with something that looked nice. We also appreciated that Eli looked for ways to save us money. We had considered replacing existing turf along the side of the house because construction debris was difficult for us to remove. Instead, he offered to have his crew clean it to the best of their ability and also dispose of some old outdoor rugs for us rather than having us spend money unnecessarily. Communication with both Eli and Tanya, the office manager, was excellent throughout the process. Our project was small and only took two days, but we never felt like it was too small for them. Everything ran smoothly, the crew left the area clean, and Eli personally stopped by to check the work and completed a final walkthrough with us to make sure we were satisfied. GAIA was professional, communicative, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, ethical. We've already recommended them to friends and will absolutely use them again for future projects.
