My recent experiences have been the complete opposite of what I once respected about this business. After returning back to Florida, permanently this time .... with a bag full of dresses that needed to be dry cleaned I was required to prepay due to an incident from over five years ago when I unintentionally forgot to pick up clothing before my return back to CA. . I understand policies around unclaimed items and take responsibility for that. What I do not accept is the way this was handled. From that point forward, the treatment I received was consistently cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. I brought my clothes in multiple times after that, and every single visit carried the same unmistakable sense that I was not welcome. There was no effort to reset the relationship, no basic courtesy, and no professionalism in how a returning customer was treated. This was not a one time interaction. It was repeated behavior over multiple visits. People do forget items at cleaners. It happens. Most businesses address it, set their policy, and move on. Here, it felt punitive and personal, which is not how a professional business should operate. I paid in advance as required, complied with their (NEW) policy that they set JUST for me... , and returned in good faith more than once. The response and demeanor I received each time was the same level of cold and unwelcoming treatment. That is not acceptable in any service environment, and it is THUS the reason I will not return.

They can't even make up their mind how much they want to jack up the rate. It looks like I will be relocating to Remington Storage in Hernando across from Citrus Hills. It is much easier to get in and out of Remington Storage with a utility trailer.

The initial process was easy and Andre made suggestions, asked questions, and provided a bid we could understand. On site, he and his crew were FAST, considerate, and careful with our belongings. We were pleased. Recently, we needed help moving our daughter from Jacksonville to Ocala. We called Mighty Man Movers again. We experienced the same thoughtful service. When the move turned out to be much more time consuming and tedious than expected or how it was portrayed to him, Andre said we needed to renegotiate but didn't stop doing the job. He trusted that a fair accounting would be forthcoming and kept doing what needed to be done. I would trust Andre and his crew with ANY moving job. He is just that good. In addition, he is expanding his business into home services: fans, lights, roofing repair, etc. We had him and his crew install a vent in the roof to connect to the microwave exhaust fan. (I hate the mess cooking makes when the moisture, grease and fume spread around the inside of the house.) They demonstrated the same business ethic here. I highly recommend them.

Efficient, proficient and reasonably priced. Most recently we used Craine N Sons to move a 95 y/o parent to an Assisted Living Facility. They came and packed Dad's room (furniture and clothes) and then brought everything to his ALF. It made life much easier for us being able to take Dad straight from 1 place to the other without needing extra time while we tried to pack and move with him. Two months later we surprised ourselves in buying a new place and Craine-N-Sons were our go-to movers to come and pack us up and move all belongings. The crew that did the packing were phenomenal and detail was evident - the amount of bubble wrap and sheets of packing paper as we unwrapped everything (by the way, they do offer unpacking but we didn't contract for it) was amazing. Boxes were marked with simple but clear information about contents. This crew not only packed the home (kitchen, bedrooms, living spaces) but also tacked our garage, workshop, and shed. On moving day, a different crew arrived and got us out of our old and in to our new with efficiency. We felt the price we paid each time we've used Craine-N-Sons has been money well spent as they perform a service that is greatly appreciated. By all means, if you're looking for a local or long distance mover, I'd give highest praise to Craine-N-Sons.

The rental truck was loaded correctly, professionally and even gave advice to the driver about the inspection station leaving Florida which was a help. My items made it to Tennessee and the driveway incline was a bit much on the truck bouncing it quite a bit. I was so relieved to be able to hook up the washer and dryer, working great and only damage to one lamp in the process which can be fixed with super glue. If I was still in Florida, I would definitely use these movers again and again and again. Pricing was extremely reasonable. Using this company was the brightest spot of my moving experience. I had been ripped off by a different moving company in December, didn't get out of Florida and I had so much furniture and items damaged it was crazy.
