It could have been 4 hours total but we got detoured with a free sofa that turned out to be awesome and now sits in our main living room! They require you to have your mattresses in covers/bags and they'll rent them to you for $19/each or you can buy them from Canadian Tire for $10 each. My one piece of advice would be for them to sweep/clean their moving trunk regularly. After they left I kept finding small pieces of broken glass which came in from the bottom of their shoes.

Items were supposed to be dropped at two locations; a storage facility for when my senior's apartment would be ready for occupancy and a few other items to an auction house, items that I would not be able to keep once in a smaller space. I had to leave out of province for two months to care for another elderly relative. By the time I returned and viewed the statement from the auction house, I saw that Eager Beavers were a bit too eager and disposed of many wrong items! I am not impressed at all. And to top it off, I was charged an extra $1500. over my initial quote, $1000 of which was spent for 4 guys to sit in a truck while they were stuck in traffic. Furious, does not adequately convey my feelings.

Yes without finishing mine. He complained constantly about how much stuff I had. What did he expect with a 2 bedroom + den apartment? David and his crew left around 2pm and said they'd be back later. Hours and hours go by. He finally calls asking if they could do the last of the move tomorrow. I said No I have to be out of my apartment by noon. He was aware of that yet he seemed right PO'd like it was my fault. Said Fine we'll be there in an hour and half and he hung up on me. They finally show up at 11:30pm and David tells me they're not going to put things in the house where they belong. They just dump it in my garage. So now I'm left to find someone else to move my table, chairs, tv stand, arm chair and other large items that they didn't move. His excuse was that he can't be working until 1am. Well dude maybe you should learn to schedule moves better. I was beyond furious. David is a con artist and liar. When I booked the move, he said he used to work for the govt of AB but then the day of the move he said he still works there and he could quit his job and easily make more money. Well he doesn't work for the GOA and hasn't for many months. David is no friend and I suggest you find other movers. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the people he employs were good. I'd give David no stars if I could.
