They were great the first time I moved with them, and this second time they managed to impress me even more! Reilly did a great job of staying in touch and answering my bazillion questions before the move. Markus and his team were hard-working, professional, skillful, and FAST. Their teamwork and communication were a pleasure to watch. They asked lots of questions, rather than guessing or assuming. They arranged all my furniture and boxes, exactly where and how I I wanted. Also: it's 2020 but this is Alberta, so I feel it's worth mentioning that we are a same-sex couple, and they were not the least bit weird about it. That felt good . Something else I really appreciated was that they maintained a positive attitude, even when things didn't go quite as planned. A couple stories to illustrate: #1: I had put out signs in front of the new place, asking the neighbors to please leave room on the street for the truck to park - but I underestimated the length of the truck. I was in awe at their finesse as they maneuvered that big truck in such close quarters to get it as near the curb as possible. Example #2: My big, comfy sofa looked like it might not fit in the elevator at the new place - rather than try to force it, they carried it up the stairs. Without complaint. And then did some combination of n-dimensional wizardry, wrestling, and ballet, to get it in the door of my suite without scratching anything. And finally: this was all at the end of a very long day - I was the second move they did that day - and they gave 100% the whole time. Great work, guys, and thank you! read more

I very highly recommend Eager Beaver Movers! I requested information from this company from the Better Business Bureau's website regarding moving my daughter from an apartment in Edmonton to Red Deer. The owner John responded promptly with a quote after I had given him my information. I was a little leery about hiring a mover because of horror stories that I had heard about items being lost or damaged and I just wasn't sure about the industry as a whole. John patiently answered my questions about his company and I decided to hire him, partly because he seemed so professional, partly because his business is family owned and partly because his quote was $500-600 cheaper than 2 corporate competitors. On moving day Adrian and Ben showed up exactly on time. They were 2 neat and pleasant young men. They set to working hard and efficiently. I was very impressed by their professionalism. They did not goof around and they pretty much wrapped every piece of my daughter's expensive furniture and you could see how much care they were taking. They arrived in Red Deer promptly and unloaded just as carefully and professionally. The move went so smoothly. In the end they final price was even $150 less than what I had been quoted. I had a look at the invoice and they had not padded the number of hours worked or inflated the time to drive to Red Deer and back. I was totally impressed by Eager Beaver and would use them again in a heartbeat and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in Edmonton. read more

My only difficulty in the process was that after I confirmed the details, the office had written my last name and email down incorrectly so I didn't receive a quote. When I called back to inquire, and found the problem, they again wrote it down wrong so I did not receive an email quote (but this time I got a link to an online quote via text showing the wrong info). After a third call I assumed it was corrected but on moving day the movers' invoice still had the wrong name and email address. I was a bit concerned at the time about how this would reflect on the quality of the move. However, Christian and Ryan were courteous, fast, and thorough. They kept all of our things safe and worked very hard/fast throughout our move. They were really adaptable in changes to the plan, from adding a few more items than originally expected to their truck to making a second stop to collect another piece of furniture. After experiencing a professional move for the first time, I don't think I could ever go back to moving myself. Would 100% recommend Eager Beaver Moving and especially Christian and Ryan. My expectations were exceeded, in all honesty. read more

My regular moving company was booked until end of July but recommended Eager Beaver. I had 2 moves as I needed to move my Mother within a week to a lodge from her current apartment then a follow-up move for the rest of her stuff to storage. Both teams showed up wearing masks and called 15 minutes before they arrived. Ryan and Ricky did the fist move and they were very considerate, respectful, careful, quick and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was carefully rapped and when arrived at the new place, set up as requested. My Mom was very pleased with her new apartment. The second team was also good but John on the team really stood out. His knowledge of how to properly wrap and handle antiques was excellent, and his organizational skills for packing the truck to preserve delicate items was appreciated. John was very careful, respectful, professional and considerate. The storage unit to store the remainder furniture didn't have much room left, yet John was able to carefully put all of the remaining furniture in it without any issue. If I have any other moves, I will reach out to Eager Beaver Moving. read more

Another successful move thanks to the awesome crew from Eager Beaver Moving! They helped me complete the second part of my move on December 4, 2023. My move into my new place was unexpectedly delayed and Aaron quickly reduced my stress levels by rescheduling my move to the next available date. The crew showed up on time, bright and early, and ready to go! Once again they brought their good energy and "get 'er done" attitude. They rolled out the protective covering for the floors and made quickly worked to unloading our items. All our furniture was put back together and ready to use in no time. All our belongings were treated with care and respect. These guys are true professionals and were efficient with their time. If you need a moving company, your search has ended. SERIOUSLY, IT HAS! The "self- proclaimed A-Team" (Jeremiah, Ben, and Brandon) are the guys you definitely want. Book early and book fast!!!! I'm sure that customers specifically request for them ALL THE TIME!!! They are extremely quick. They had everything out of my 2200 square foot home in about two hours. No "cutting corners" with the "A-Team." Anything that is "delicate" or "expensive" (for example, furniture,) they wrap it up in blankets and tape (without even being asked.) (I thought "No other moving company has EVER done this.") They treat your "precious items" as if they are their very own. Moving into my new place...even faster! Even after they had done three moves before mine!!! They produced as If I was their first job of the day! EXCELLENT JOB A-Team!!!! The three of you deserve a raise!!!! Call Connie and book "The A-Team!" You will not regret it. They are phenomenal!!!! read more

Here's a review that sounds natural, enthusiastic, and credible--not over the top: I had an excellent experience with Eager Beaver Moving. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently from start to finish, and were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with. They handled everything with care, and nothing was damaged during the move. I had some challenging items, including 23 small U-Haul boxes packed full of vinyl records, along with furniture that had to be moved through a difficult access route with steep stairs. The crew never complained, worked hard the entire time, and placed everything exactly where I wanted it in the new apartment. The move was completed efficiently, the price was fair, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eager Beaver Moving to anyone in Edmonton looking for reliable, professional movers. Thanks again for making a potentially stressful day go so smoothly! read more

We moved from Edmonton to southern Alberta. Eager Beaver Moving made the process very easy and stress free. Courteous, professional and friendly service is exactly what everyone looks for in a moving company and this company fit the bill to a tee! They knew exactly what they were doing and did it well arriving on time both ways and the packing and unpacking was done within a reasonable time frame. The furniture was covered and/or wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage and not a single item was damaged, broken, etc. These young strong clean men knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. As a bonus, there were no hidden costs. The cost for the move stayed the same as the original estimate. All in all, we were very impressed with their service and would recommend Eager Beaver Moving for good professional service, they are worth every cent. Wishing them success in the future. I've used Eager Beaver Movers twice now, and I honestly wouldn't go with anyone else. From start to finish, they make the entire moving process feel smooth, easy, and stress-free. What really stood out to me is how trustworthy and transparent they are. The estimate they provided was incredibly close to the final price--no surprises, no hidden fees, no gouging. Just honest, straightforward service. The crew handled everything with great care, treating my furniture as if it were their own. They were professional, efficient, and genuinely good guys, which makes a big difference when you're trusting someone with your home and belongings. It's rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise, but Eager Beaver Movers absolutely does. I'll definitely be using them again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality movers. read more

I cannot say enough about the team that moved my house today!! Chris Martin, Dion, and Tyler were absolutely stellar. They were on time, worked incredibly hard, knew their stuff (zipped up and down stairs and protected all my valuables and the house), friendly, personable (they even asked if their chose of music was ok). This was my first move with professional movers and I have to say this first half of the process has exceeded my expectations. My new house isn't ready for a while yet so I'm glad I've already been able to pre-book Chris M, Dion and Tyler for the move in phase. This is not cheap, but quality never is. They made the whole process simple and took a lot off my mind during some challenging times. The front office staff and the "boss" were also fantastic to deal with and answered my many questions when I started this journey! Thank you so much. read more

Move from Edmonton to Calgary and couldn't have been easier. My movers, Cody and Jared, were fantastic. The move was from one downtown condo to another, and due to construction in Edmonton, the loading bay at my building was blocked. However, Cody and Jared were able to park out front and use another door instead, and made it a non-issue. They were quick, and even my building's moving coordinator was impressed at how fast and professional they were. On the Calgary side, they were just as good, and got me moved in ahead of schedule (even with stampede traffic and 30 degree + heat). After they left, I realized I left a keycard with them accidentally, and texted them saying it was a spare and to just mail it back later. To my surprise, they turned around and brought it right back to me. Very impressed with the company, and will certainly recommend them to anyone! read more

This is the second time I have used Eager Beaver and it was an even better experience (can I give 6 stars?). Jeremiah and his A team were simply a delight to work with. They arrived on time and were SO quick - although always slow and careful when passing through doorways or setting items down. They had to move an ancient, extremely heavy hospital bed and it was amazing to watch them calculate and control to get that thing carefully through a tight hallway. Impressive. These fellows take pride in doing a job right - not something one seems to see often these days. Not a dent or scratch on anything. Everything that required it was well wrapped and set exactly where I wanted it - even when I changed my mind... They were cheerful, polite, respectful and very hard working. Can't recommend highly enough. Almost wish I needed to move again.... almost. read more

We moved into our new home today. This is the first time we have ever hired movers as we have always tried to watch our costs. But, we are getting older and are not as limber or ambitious as we once were. To be honest, we should have used movers for all our moves. We chose EBM because of the good reviews, and that they are a small local business. They showed up on time, were professional, efficient, and very courteous. Throughout the process they were constantly asking if we were comfortable with the job they were doing. They showed incredible respect for our belongings and our home and ensured everything was as it should be before leaving. We would absolutely recommend this company and would absolutely use them again to move (but if we are lucky, this move will be the last one!!). This was money very well spent! read more

We had a three man crew to load a 20 foot c-can, which we are shipping at a later date. Our crew of Richard, Trey and Kostyantyn were cheerful and very hard working. It took about six hours to load the c-can; we really didn't think they would get all the furniture in it, let alone so many boxes. The c-can was packed tight and efficiently and along the way they asked for items that they could load, which we had set aside for later. We have room to spare! Such care was taken with our prized possessions; a Dutch trunk over 300 years old which we decided on the spot after watching them pack things that we trusted them to wrap it. Even though we made them coffee, they never stood around drinking it. Really cheerful through the entire six hours. Great work and I would highly endorse them. read more

Positive: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Eager Beaver Movers came highly recommended by one of my friends in Edmonton, based on what she told me I gave them a call and these young men were excellent to deal with. Riley was my first contact when I called in, very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The movers that came to my home were Cyril and Chris they were amazing to work with. As a widow a move was stressful enough but these two made it seem simple and easy!! All the stress was gone. I would highly recommend these "gentlemen movers" to anyone. The care and caution they used were over and above what I had expected. There prices were very reasonable and they moved me very quickly and they have a seniors discount!! Thank you so much. Exceptional company. Every step of the way they made this move seamless: from the initial emails of planning and organinizing the move, to the actual move itself, and also accomodating an extra stop to empty our storage unit. Dan, Christian and Nolan were pleasant, polite, efficient and very hard workers. The price was reasonable and as quoted. The only issue that we had, was they showed up with out the 1/2 hour warning phone call so our elevator person was not quite ready- and they apologized for that when they arrived. It was a pleasure to work with this company and I would recommend you hire them as we have had some "not very good movers", and it makes all the difference in the world. I would give 6 stars too! I had a great experience with them! I was able to book and confirm a move within 7 days and Caleb and Sydney were a pleasure to work with! They were on time, quick, efficient and careful with all my items. They also happily agreed to add another stop on the day of the service to move a fridge and were helpful when the garage didn't open. They disassembled and assembled my bed and finished the whole process and move across town in under 4 hours time. I'm so glad I chose to use Eager Beaver as 2 of my other friends had also used them and recommended their services. They were professional and the process of booking was simple, quick and efficient. I'm so happy with the move and would definitely use them again in the future! read more
