It was a nice day today and I was in the Gambrills area and quickly remembered Auto Spa. I had a monthly membership prior and loved taking my car to get washed often. It's not that hard to vacuum the car but somehow my back floors didn't get vacuumed at all. To be fair I must mention that it wasn't a plan trip so I did have groceries in my car but I made sure they were on the seats and not on the floor nothing was on the floor besides the mats and some food debris. It seems like they have quality control because I noticed a young lady walking to each car and inspecting it before beeping the horn and telling whoever the owner was to come on. Wasn't high quality though because she missed the dirt that I'm guessing was dropped on top of my center console as if the vacuum was turned off, before taking out of my car. I had a big tip waiting because there was quite a bit of dirt on my floor still although I went ahead and picked up most of the big items and moved my seat to get things underneath as well such as nail files, pens, things that had fallen in between the cracks.

Today however I went through full service, and got the premium package that included the Rain X and tire shine. Now, let me tell you exactly how dirty my tires still are. They half way dried my car, and just wiped briefly over my wheels. It actually looked worse after because they wiped parts of the wheel clean, and left the wheels heavily soiled still. I'll just go back to doing my own thing on the self serve side. The one guy was nice enough to go get my tokens for the free vacuum, after the other guy blew me off about it. So overall the service wasn't bad...just the wash itself.. Somehow after the wash I ended up with what looked like smeared bird poop on my window, and I went over all my windows prior to the wash. Because sometimes the drive through wont get it off, especially the back window. Not to mention there was no bird poop on my car initially...lol #WhoDoneIt

You can go thru the car wash while staying in your car and at the exit an attendant will dry you off. Another option is washing your own car in a stall which I've also done before. I was able to wash my Nissan Armada with all my normal cycles (i.e. rinse, soap, tire cleaner, soap brush, & rinse) with just $5. I'd say that's pretty good time settings in the stalls or I'm just really efficient which is also really true!!! If you opt for the car wash stalls, you'll have to pay to use the vacuums. If you go thru the car wash, free vacuuming is included! Remember to ask for the vacuum token if they don't give it to you. They also offer other cool options like towel service for one time $3 fee, a monthly fee for unlimited car washes, and VIP cards (i.e., a loyalty stamp card) which gives you a free car wash after your 10th wash. The 11th wash isn't just the cheapest wash on the option board either. It's the top tier wash!!!

My…read morebody shop told me they couldn't buff it out and quoted R&R of some hardware and painting the door and adjacent fender. They suggested contacting Jed at Annapolis Detail Center (ADC) to see what he could do. I stopped by ADC. Jed said he could not make it perfect but he would do his best to improve how it looked at no cost to me unless I was happy with the result. He worked on the process while I waited. The overall result was excellent and I could barely see the small imperfection Jed had warned me about. I was delighted with the result as was my wife when I got home with her car (she thought it had been painted). Jed saved us a a great deal of money. He's friendly, skilled, and fair in his pricing.
