The 3 others met us at our home and listened to our ideas and took measurements of the areas to be landscaped. Within a week we received quotes from two of the other companies that just parroted back our ideas without any design drawings or detail. The third company jerked us around for 3 additional weeks before telling us they were too busy and gave us a baseless and wildly expensive "estimate" for next year. In contrast, Josie Blumenthal from Faltz came to our house twice to sketch the area, take dimensions and develop our design ideas. On the 2nd trip she took aerial photos with a drone and prepared a concept design based upon our ideas. At our third meeting, Ben Brown, Faltz Landscape Architect, who was mentoring Josie, joined the Team and proposed some new design concepts that we liked a lot. We signed a contract and within a week the Faltz crew was on site. The 3-man crew were experienced, polite and professional. Most of the time while the work was in progress, either Josie, Ben or both were on site, assuring the work was in conformance with the plan. At the end of every workday, the crew cleaned our yard and driveway. Three days later the work was complete. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the entire Faltz Team, especially Ben and Josie. We felt that Faltz provided a superior product and good value. When I went out into the garden I was immediately covered in dead grass dust and leaves coming from my neighbors garden to the South Side, blown by steady 14mph winds with gusts over 30mph. This debris was being kicked up by at least two men wearing gas powered leaf blower backpacks. This debris covered our garden and decking with filth, got into our screen windows, covered our hot tub with filth. To do this on a day with such high winds was ridiculous and presented a nuisance and health risk from the allergens this company's actions released, which obviously included mold spores too. Just to add insult to injury the company vehicle was parked directly in front of my home partially obstructing my driveway whilst leaving the clients property unobstructed.

I had several estimates done on my property and Lawn Savers was by far the lowest. I was hesitant to use their services as there weren't a lot of reviews out there, but figured since they were much lower priced than the others, I'd give them a shot. I called in early April and it was still freezing at night. They said they'd have to wait until it warmed up and they'd email me once they could head out to do the cleanup. He gave me options as far as upgrades and told me how much I could expect it to be and what it would cost to haul the bags away ($3 per bag). Sunday morning, the Lawn Savers truck showed up at my house. I was a bit surprised to see only one person there to do the work and assumed it would take him all day. I was very pleasantly surprised that it took him less than three hours and he did a fantastic job. The poor guy had to bag up 18 lawn bags of crap from my yard. He was very polite and let me know when he was leaving and that he'd be back to pick up the bags the next day. I would absolutely recommend Lawn Savers to anybody looking for yard cleanup. The installers came out this morning and I now have brand new gutters. The person I talked to on the phone was very knowledgable. My husband had requested a hooded gutter, and the representative showed me what a screened gutter looked like. He told me that hooded gutters in an area with a heavy snowfall encourage ice dams and are easily damaged, and gutter screens work much better for our climate. The installer were polite. They rang the doorbell to let us know they had arrived, and began their work. At the end of the install, they rang the doorbell again to let me know that they were done and to collect payment.
