I called at least half a dozen 'sewing machine and vacuum' shops before coming across AAA Sew and Vac, which seemed like the ONLY place that actually repairs sewing machines. I explained to Tammy, who was incredibly helpful and friendly, that I needed my machine fixed as soon as possible. While she explained that due to Halloween season (I guess everyone else had the same idea in mind...), the repairman was flooded orders but she said to bring it in and she'll expedite my repair. The store is small and quaint but it's jam-packed with everything you'll need for your sewing machine or vacuum. I was informed that the repairman has been doing this for 30+ years and he truly knows what he's doing. Based on a quick examination of my machine, Tammy said it should just needs to be serviced (never got it serviced once during the 10 years I've owned my machine) but she'll call me if any additional repairs/costs will be incurred. After about 3 days, I received a call that my machine was ready for pick up! Turns out it just needed was a good ol' cleaning and greasing, as well as some adjustments in the gears. For $120, I got the full cleaning and tune up service and I couldn't have been happier! And the service was superb! Got my sewing machine in time to sew two Gandalf the White AND Gray capes, 2 dresses, and my costume for Russell from the Pixar movie Up, in time for Halloween parties galore! Proud to support small, local businesses and I definitely plan on taking my vacuum in since that's having some issues as well!

He was thorough in explaining the problem. He was fully booked but made time to examine and then squeezed me in to fix it two days later instead of waiting over the weekend. Whew! He arrived, took it apart, then left saying he had an idea that he thought he could try that he'd been having great success with. He went to get what he needed, came back and got to work again. The idea paid off....making the repair bill go from $350 down to $218. We will definitely call him again if needed! Honest and diligent. Further they were barely any help at all to try to source new parts (did most of the legwork myself). Instead they stuck a heavy wrench tool between hinge where the door meets the oven body and applied body weight pressure against the door -- which they said has worked for other customers it did absolutely nothing at all to fix our issue except to make everything worse. Then they spent the next 15 minutes telling me to consider a new $3000+ unit.

I contacted them initially to come fix a fridge at our business. I allowed the tech in, and had to leave. He called to tell me the repair was done. When I came to check the work (the tech was not there at the time), the fridge was not working. So I texted. And called. Texted and called some more. Finally I got the guy back, he got the fridge to start cooling down, and I was told I could reach out with any issues. I paid my invoice, even adding a tip, because he told me he moved his schedule around to (finally) come fix the fridge. It wasn't until we actually got product for the fridge I noticed it wasn't working again. I texted the technician, who said he'd look into his schedule and work out a time... So I sent a follow up text...and call,and texted and called multiple times. None of which were returned. I finally called the dispatch line. They profusely apologized and said a manager would call me back in an hour. That, friends, was a week ago. Today I called and texted multiple times. Aside from an apology there has been no follow up by Summit Logistics or its tech. Read other reviews on this company, my story is nearly identical to several others who placed trust in them to stand by their work. I would NEVER recommend Summit Logistics.

In this case though, I need to warn the public based on my huge loss of funds. Eric came to my home to fix an old freezer I had. At first, he seemed wonderful. Helpful. He talked about how awesome the freezer was and how he would be able to fix it for me, and even install some additional components to make the freezer not get ice build up. He quoted me $466.33 to make the total repairs. He also stated that everything he was doing was GUARANTEED for 180 days. Once the repair was supposedly finished, he told me that the amount due was $515.35. I was upset, but paid in good faith. When I attempted to open the freezer to check his work, he told me not to, and said that the freezer would take 48 hours to "cool down completely". I was a bit worried, but once again, I trusted his word. After 48 hours, I checked the freezer and it was warm. Nothing was working. I contacted "Summit" to let them know and make sure that I could be scheduled for a follow up. All I wanted was the guarantee that he promised me. I contacted this company 8 times in 5 days and spoke to the office staff, but Eric would not return my calls. After trying to contact him 8 times, they blocked my number. I am under the impression that the "receptionist" is Erics spouse or friend, and that they are in this scam together. I can't be certain, but he hid behind her and never returned my consistent calls. Let me also note that never once was I mad or mean over the phone. All I wanted was the freezer fixed, or my money back, as stated in his "Guarantee". I have filed complaints with Google, Facebook, the Better Business Bureau, and with my Credit Union. I am currently disputing the charges. I even had another company come and look at the freezer to verify Erics Shotty work. I will also be taking him to small claims court, if needed.
