No clue what on earth died here

I am literally sick to my stomach. HOW are you gonna let someone stay here and not replace these NASTY ASS chairs!? I feel like calling the health department, and whoever that chick is that left that behind needs a serious delousing. I'm exhausted, I'm here to WORK, and now I need to find another place and I better get a full refund...this is unsanitary at the very least, dangerous at most.

Whirlpool tub

If your getting the whirlpool room for a romantic night it's only a one person. Thought I'd mention it as they don't in the listing.

My first night of two in Tampa, FL started with a good night's sleep here at the Quality Inn in the Spring Hill area of the urban sprawl of greater Tampa. It was only for one night and I received room 340. I apparently got the good one, especially when the lady at the front desk recommended a particular hotel room unit when I checked in around 8pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. I wasn't too sure that the lady at the front desk recommended this particular room to me, so I joked with her, whether or not it was haunted or something weird or bad had happened in the unit. But no, she happened to stay in there once or twice before and highly recommended it. It ended up being a pretty cool deal and I had a nice comfortable evening here at the Quality Inn. I chose this hotel property because it was the cheapest hotel that I looked up on hotels.com. Room rates here were really good and I didn't want to stay in the downtown area of Tampa. I probably spent about $50/night plus applicable taxes and fees. I must say that this place was easy to find off the US-19 highway. The overall experience here at the Quality Inn here at Spring Hill, FL was pretty sweet. Even though I only stayed here for just one night, the value of the Quality Inn was just perfect and, as the name of the brand suggests, it's a budget friendly option that definitely has Quality and value attached to it. It was a welcome sight when I drove here, even with GPS, and the parking was adequate and thought it was plentiful. This Quality Inn hotel is located at 3979 Cortez Boulevard in Weeki Wachee area of Tampa/Spring Hill. There is plenty of nearby eateries are nearby to help you in your eating options, but this Quality Inn offers you a complimentary breakfast to get you on your way. They also have complimentary wifi, so I used it for the night. It was a good connection and not as spotty as other places and brands I've been to across the United States. Win Dixie supermarket is nearby, so you can do your shopping here too. Quality Inn, like many hoteliers out there, accepts major credit cards, as well as cash. The lobby area was very clean, quite sparkling, and the breakfast area was clean too. It was nice to have complimentary breakfast before venturing out into Tampa to enjoy the day. The room itself was rather cool and definitely well worth the price. It was quite spacious, almost like a suite, but it's all in one room instead of separate rooms. The bed itself was quite comfortable. I got my 7 hours worth of sleep here. Wish I did booked two days here, but I'm glad that I found this place and it was fun and good. I ended up checking out of here close to 11am, just because I was on vacation and wanted to hang out here. Spent the time reading the complimentary USA Today they had put out for hotel guests, watching television, and drafting yelp reviews from my travels earlier in my vacation. Yep, writing reviews while on vacation from previous stops on vacation. I had some downtime, so why not. I do love the room comfort that allows me to be creative in this space. Too bad that I had to check out at 11am though. 4.0 stars for the entire experience. 4.0 stars for the bed and room comfort. 4.0 stars for the check in and out process. 4.5 stars for the price. 3.5 stars for the complimentary breakfast. Can't be too choosy though when it's free. Support local! B+

The flat screen TV was great, and even allowed the connection of my computer to watch shows from iTunes and NetFlix.

Crystal Blue Lagoon Bed & Breakfast

A large mermaid statue greets you, surrounded by whimsical decorations and beautiful artwork. Inside, the floors and ceilings are hand-painted by an incredibly talented artist, and the mermaid-and-manatee theme blends together perfectly. The host, Joanne, is attentive while still respecting your privacy. She showed me around, answered all my questions, and made sure I knew she was just a phone call away if I needed anything. I was there to celebrate my birthday, and she had a banner over the bed and a nice bottle of champagne waiting in my room--such a thoughtful touch. You definitely won't go hungry here. There were muffins, bagels, cookies, fruit, snacks, and more than I could count. For breakfast, there were eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, and plenty of options to cook at your leisure. Drinks ranged from water and juice to soda, beer, and wine. I stayed in the Scallop Room on the ground floor. Each room has its own key, private bathroom, TV, and everything you might need. The bed was comfortable and very clean. In the evening, the owner lit the fire pit and provided s'mores so we could sit by the river, watch the sunset, and relax. Outside, there are kayaks, paddle boards, water bikes, and more. It was my first time kayaking on the river, and I had a wonderful time watching a manatee and her baby (from a respectful distance), along with fish jumping and birds diving. One of those special days I'll remember for years. The only challenge for me was getting out of the kayak at low tide .A grab bar or some support near the steps would make it easier for guests Treat yourself to a visit to Crystal River and the Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B--you'll love it.

My husband and I debated where to stay and took a risk with Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B, since we couldn't find a lot of reviews online. We booked the manatee room because we were charmed by the eccentric decor (it seemed better than a potentially run down room in a generic chain hotel) and we could not have been happier with our choice! While in Crystal River, we spent a lot of money on private boat tours (Manatees in Paradise is the best if you're wondering), but you don't even need to book a tour if you stay here. They have a manatee sanctuary spring pretty much on the property (populated by 30+ manatees during our stay). Plus, they have tons of water toys you can use and everything you need to swim with the manatees on site. Many of the boat tours would anchor there so people could swim with the manatees, but we had a perfect view of them by just standing on the lawn and looking into the spring, something the people on the boat tours couldn't do. Truly, it was the best manatee experience we had in Crystal River! Our room in the B&B was comfortable, clean, and completely charming, if not luxurious. It feels a bit like visiting your most artistic friend or family member. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which came in handy as the weather was cold during our stay. The kitchen was overflowing with a huge assortment of snacks, drinks (including wine and beer), and food you can prepare if you're so inclined. I've already recommended Crystal Blue Lagoon B&B to friends, and we will absolutely stay here next time we visit!

Charmaine consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed at breakfast and always took the time to check on how we were doing. They were always attentive, professional, and accommodating. They worked with us as we needed to extend our stay and made sure we had everything necessary to be comfortable during our time away from home.
