    I was booked on Expedia to stay at the motel 6 which I'm done before many a Time being a single father and joint custody with my wife who I let see the kids for a day or two every weekend instead of them going to her small apartment she comes to my house and I go to the hotel which is a mile from my house in case me close very practical very reasonable and hotels usually pretty nice well at least customer services pretty nice now on this occasion I was told I am no longer able to stay at the hotel with over a hundred plus visit to this hotel and zero problems I have never had a visitor I've never had a guess I work at the same time I'm staying here so I'm only here a few hours a night and if I am here I'm usually reading a book by the pool I don't understand with no explanation they have stolen my money cancel my reservation would not let me stay and would not give me a refund so when I get off work at 12:00 midnight I show up at the hotel for the room and I get told I cannot stay here no reasons no explanation whatsoever I slipped my car across the street at the weeki wachee State Park still contacting Expedia Expedia with no explanation will not get my money back either I don't know what happened but I will be very leery of staying in this hotel the skeptical and the sketchy actions of the new general manager seems to be what's happening I don't know how to do to the hurricane that came through the room availability or what but I have contacted the hotel and then you have time with no response I know everything to the corporate office wish I will include the response from them if they do respond in this review as far as anything goes I would not prepay in advance for any room to hotel be very leery of the sketchy guests that day and the hotel usually is very customer service friendly but now I would totally back out and say that is not the case I am in business I am a general manager at a restaurant here in weeki wachee I am retired from the army 30 years and now I decide I can't even stay at a two-star hotel that I've done nothing wrong on we're at the other residents are half of them are drug dealers half of them are prostitutes and here I have to say I can't say are you kidding me I don't get refund so no money back they steal my money and that's okay with people well I say no I am following a grievance with you better visitor and I'm going to be following up on a daily basis I just want to warn everybody be very careful of this hotel you're very careful with practices and financial obligations do not pay in advance only pay when you get the room God bless and good luck if you do decide to stay here I go to the quality inn right up the road it's a couple dollars more black cleaner friendly and they never steal your money imagine that but who tells it doesn't steal your money

    Picked this motel since it was right across from Weeki Wachee and the cheapest motel in the area. When I first was checking in I didn't realize the front desk agent was helping somebody else because they did not acknowledge me when I stood there for about 5 minutes before the person they were helping came back inside. I've worked customer service and I always acknowledge my guests. We had a 5/10 rule, If they're 10 ft away look at them and smile. If they're 5 ft away, greet them. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have sufficed. The other front desk agent gave me pool towels to use instead of their towels because my hair is dyed blue. I've been to literal resorts at Wyndham and have NEVER had anyone try to give me different towels because my hair is dyed. Pretty sure bleach washes everything out. Also, my hair doesn't bleed anymore. The AC gave a little bit of issues Friday evening but it was fine for Saturday evening. The remote on the TV also was a little wonky between the two days, so I wasn't sure if the batteries were working or not. Conveniently enough when the maintenance man came everything was fine. However the remote later went back to not working very well that evening. As a courtesy, please add microwaves and mini fridges to the room. I had to throw out juice because I didn't realize my room didn't come with a microwave or a mini fridge. The beds are also really uncomfortable and firm. I didn't sleep very well because of that and the AC. Cheap to stay at, but if you have the money, go to an actual hotel.

    I visited Spring Hill, Fl on Friday, Sept.2 through Monday, Sept. 5, 2022. The drive was a 4 and 1/2 hour drive and my arrival time was approximately after Midnight, and it was already Saturday. We were tired and wanted a nice hot bath, and clean room to sleep. Much to our deep disappointment, this is not what we got. The Room had food wrappers on the side of the bed floor, the toilet was not properly cleaned and when we took a shower, we discovered that we also got a wading pool along with the shower. A cockroach fell out of one of the bedside dressers as we opened it up. Upon daylight on Saturday morning, I reported it to the lobby staff. A woman came and the way "housekeeping" is performed is disgraceful. She did not even have a toilet scrubber on hand. She turned over our bed, and the 2 days we stayed there were less than acceptable. We itched all night while in bed and I had small bumps on my back, I'm sure we had bed bugs! The rate you charged was not cheap and it was an ABSOLUTELY disgusting room. I am providing a couple of pictures, via your CS relations email. Too bad I couldn't show you the disgusting back up of water as we showered. Your chain should be ashamed of themselves for allowing the rental of rooms in this condition. I hope someone from the Health Department steps in to get you to sanitize and clean these rooms properly! It goes to demonstrate the power of greed in some industries outweighs the power of good business and human decency. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! MRS. SERRANO ROOM 304

    Cockroaches in the rooms. The rooms stink of mold. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, with what I can say was my final stay at this place, the mattress in the room was an old one dropped on top of two twin frames/box springs. They always have a technician working on the WiFi, as it always drops in and out, or just doesn't work at all, and the cell service is dead in the rooms. And the guests around me have always been very loud and inconsiderate of their neighbors.

    This is the best motel 6 i have been to yet. Pam and Sandra are delightful. The bed is comfortable they gave us a larger room so the baby had more space. Super friendly and homey thank you for the wonderful stay.

    We got right in on Christmas Day. It was clean no pet fees and Faith at the counter is amazing.

    Change your slogan to "Leave the lights on so the roaches run away before you see them." Can't get a refund from a room that had roaches.
