Due to a productions location this is where we were booked to say! DO NOT stay here unless you like the smell of gasoline! The gas smell literally takes over like it's being pumped through the hallway. I'm confident they're in violation of something. I was there all of 35 minutes before relocating to a better hotel and left with a headache that lasted over night! I feel so bad for those that are working under this conditions. The front desk guy, Zach was so nice and understanding but I still can't imagine this place isn't condemned. Yeah, pulling up to a gas station and convenience store with a hotel attached around back is a bit off-putting. But it makes getting snacks/drinks easy since there is a door connecting them. The place has been recently "updated" so it had that new hotel smell. The upgrades are like a poorly planned Home Depot remodel. Light above the sink is solely controlled by a motion-activated sensor which triggered by movement at the foot of the bed. That's fun in the middle of the night. The room tile and carpet are different heights, but you get a rubber transition ramp. Access to outlets was very limited. Even the lamp and coffee maker on the desk wasn't plugged in because the outlet was behind furniture, where I presume the TV, fridge, and microwave were plugged in. Aside from a fridge and microwave, there is a basic free-standing cabinet. The facility was clean though. My check-in experience took almost 20 minutes because the one staff member kept answering the phone for reservations as I waited. I should have taken a picture of the breakfast area. Very sparse offerings. Absolutely not worth the price they are asking for. Half the price and it would have been 3 stars - ok. read more

Everything! From the moment we walked into the lobby, to the time we left! The woman at the front desk did not acknowledge us, didn't even look up from her computer. My husband threw his card down and loudly said his name, she did look up at that point, but the whole checkin was bad. No chit chat, no nothing. The door to our room stuck, as well as the bathroom door. Bathroom was tiny and no hooks to hang anything on. Looks like someone kicked the door and put a whole in it. The bathroom ceiling had a stain above the shower. When we left, the fridge was leaking. In the lobby, there was an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie case, but the 2 days we were there, it stayed empty. We left the motel a number of times, and no one was even at the front desk to say hello/goodbye, etc. in the little office looking at their phones. I didn't know what to expect when I saw this hotel was attached to the convenience store, but then the more I thought about it, I thought it was a brilliant idea. Why not? We were absolutely thrilled with the staff here. They were more than willing to help us with any need we had. Each person we interacted with was so friendly and happy. You don't see that too often. I especially bonded with Sara who came down for a few nights to work there from Coeur d'Alene. I didn't have towels in my room -- within minutes someone was at my door handing me some. The next day they missed housekeeping, however, one call and the lady was coming up to do it. Sometimes hotels have the thinnest walls, and I often hear other patrons walking down the hall, showering or slamming doors. I heard none of that. It seemed to be well insulated. This was a highlight of our stay -- don't let the facade of the convenience store scare you away. read more

Good things. Comfortable beds, clean linens, friendly staff. Especially young man at the front desk, afternoon on Thursday Sept.12th. Happy, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, very friendly. Being a buisness previous buisness owner, knowing how important customer service is, my husband and I were disappointed with our stay. We arrived for a wedding. We had clean towels but no bath towels. There was no Kleenex in the dispenser. The shower/toilet space was awkwardly small. (The door would not open over the bathtub. The door could not open completely if the shower curtain was pushed to one side. We stayed four nights. Small hiccups will happen often and usually rectified easily with the help of the front desk. The breakfast food was good, warm, and fresh. However, getting a complete plate of food offered on the menu was a nightmare. Not one morning was the food trays complete. No one was running the kitchen. 1st. Morning: had to ask for biscuits, ask for more bacon, no milk. No forks. 2nd. Morning: had to ask for scrambled eggs. 3rd. Morning, best morning. Only out of milk and biscuits. Monday morning: no bread for toast, no coffee, no biscuits, no bacon, no milk, no waffle mix, no oatmeal. One pour guy running the front desk, running to the conscience store to buy milk leaving desk unattended. There were many disappointed people not getting breakfast. I waited 20 minutes for a bread for toast and never got it. Also the back entrance that was secure with a key code was not locking and could be opened by just pulling the handle. No key card required. I will not stay or recommend the hotel to anyone. read more

We had some car trouble and we're stranded for 4 days while waiting on some parts. Doris at the front desk was so helpful and courteous even when dealing with a packed house! The breakfast every morning was hot, fresh and delicious with so many choices from fresh waffles and eggs, to yogurt and bagels, cereal or fresh fruit just to name a few! Sally made sure the coffee pots were full and was so accommodating! They made a tough situation actually pleasant. The staff was always on top of any issue and could not have been nicer. The rooms were small but clean, and they make good use of the space they have. Limited storage and small bathroom but always clean and quite adequate . If your in a bind and need a place , we recommend Quality Inn! read more

The room smells like feet, clearly nothing gets cleaned or washed. After just 1 night there I have a rash on my legs and back. Itchy red bumps. Either bugs, or some bacterial infectious decease due to extreme lack of hygiene. Would not advice ANYone to stay there. read more

Small Town America at it's best. So driving across Montana and last minute decided to try and stay in Missoula hotel tonight had the only availability and it was The Quality Inn in Hamilton. Yep not near Missoula or on route across the state which is a big sad. 45 mile drive out of my way and I pull up to a gas station/hotel needless to say I was salty. If you have ever stayed at a gas station/hotel normal you run someplace between The Bates Motel and The Hills have eyes. So not the case here! The staff was so amazing had a smile on my face after check in. Got upstairs and the hall way was bright and clean! The room was very clean(I did find a small hair ball in the tub but the condition of this place warrants four stars). The beds are very comfy and I slept amazing. Understand this is not the Ritz but this is a classic small town hotel and very well cared for. Not sure if I'll ever be back this way but I might just make the trip for the hospitality and clean rooms. read more

We couldn't find anywhere else to stay when we were in the area for a wedding so we ended at the Quality Inn. Our room was near the back door with the broken lock so literally anyone could waltz into the hotel. The staff said they would be locking the door sometime between 10 and midnight but we arrived back at 12:30 and it was still unlocked. The staff at the front desk were helpful and apologetic about the open door but it seems that it would make more sense to just have the door locked 24/7 and tell people to come in through the front door. The breakfast is what you would expect from a motel attached to a gas station complete with the weakest coffee I've ever sampled. The toilet shrieked after flushing for a solid minute and it was fairly horrific but not quite as nasty as waking up to a giant earwig on my toothbrush. The website said smoke free but based on the stale cigarette smell it must be recently smoke free. I would probably stay there again if there were literally no other options. read more

This was the worse experience . Not only do they have a strong scent of room deodorizer to mask the smell of the place but we got woken up at 3 am with men drunk and yelling obscenities right out of our door. The views weren't much to boast about either. Basically looked at a jjunk yard up against the bitteroots . I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place if your goal is to sleep. The staff is very friendly, I will say that. The smell upon arrival into the lobby is a mix of smoke (not from fires-from smokers) and mold. From 6am-7:30am (until my husband finally had to physically hit the ceiling to get them to stop), whoever or whatever was in the room above ours was literally stomping around and dropping things on the ground for an hour and a 1/2. I understand that the hotel can't control what people do in their rooms, but the construction of this place is terrible. I truly believe they were just walking around but we heard every single step. You can literally hear everything. It's cheap, they allow dogs and they are nice. However, if your goal is to sleep, you may want to consider a different hotel. Oh yes, and someone definitely has been smoking in the bathroom in our room before us, so if you're sensible to smoke, good luck. Ugh.. read more

Made the travel package that gave you a $25 gift card to Town Pumps so it was a great deal. Room was clean, bed comfy, and lots of pillows (no skimpin' with standard wimpy hotel pillows!). Room had a bunch of little treats/samples when we arrived. Nice touch indeed. Front desk people were super nice. And it may seem odd at first, but it was nice having the attached gas station/mini mart because you could go grab treats without leaving the hotel. My biggest complaint was that the back door, which we were close to, was broken and anyone could get in even without a key card. Hrm. read more

we were looking for a hotel in hamilton and we stopped at quality inn. I should have know better when I realized it was owned by town pump. I have made many complaints about horrible bias service and wrong prices and filthy restrooms at town pump! They own this drab, dirty, dark, dismal quality inn . I walked in and waited 15 minutes before anyone greeted me. I noticed the place had construction going on i think. When i got to the counter . i was told there is no gym, it is closed because of covid 19, there is no breakfast, you just get a room and thats it she said. the price was $79 for this truckstop hotel that offered no smile, no amenities and a person at the front desk with no personality. This is not unusual where i who is ethnic looking gets treated this way. The Caucasian couple in front of me and front desk person also Caucasian were laughing,chatting, etc. Also she said to me" If you stay here you have to have a credit card! The staff were nice and the towels were clean, but other than that this place was gross. Our first be room had stains on the sheets and all over the carpet. So we were switched to the room next door which had a lovely view of a wall. This carpet was nasty looking too! The lamp shade even had stains on it. The TV had a couple of lines running through the picture constantly. I plugged in my phone to charge overnight and it didn't work. I brought some of these concerns to the staff and they apologized. They knew about the TV, and said I needed to turn the light switch on for the outlet to work...a little sign telling us that would have been nice! Staff told me they would reduce our bill but didn't. When I asked about it the next morning they said the manager had to take care of that....he/she wasn't there, so they gave us a free car wash. We stayed recently with our dog and had a wonderful experience. I spoke with Gary when I made the reservation, and he couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. That good beginning was continued with the remaining staff encountered during our 3-night stay. Room was very clean. Comfy mattress, but I do wish I'd brought my own pillow, as they only have feather ones and I'm allergic. The omnivores in our party were extremely happy with the breakfast offerings (waffles, hot scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy), and I loved the raisin bread that was available most mornings. Good coffee, too. Their excellent dog policy got us in the door ($10 nightly fee, larger dogs allowed, no crate required), but we'd be back regardless. read more

I paid for two rooms (01/29), and checked out the following morning paying with my debit card. Later, I received a call from claiming to represent Quality Inn stating my card did not process. The caller had the details of my stay and exact cost of two rooms. I was scammed out of paying via PayPal ....I called the hotel later and asked if my debit card went through and they said yes. I explained I'd been scammed and asked how the hotel shared the details of my stay. The employee advised their system had been hacked and blamed the "Choice Hotels" system. I contacted choice hotels and they blamed the hack on hotel employees. What a runaround. I'm a Choice Hotels Member ...and have decided I'll never use their hotels again ...BEWARE !! Peggy at the front desk was a breath of fresh air after a long roadtrip and lackluster customer service at the last few hotels we've stayed at. She was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure we would have a good stay. The hallways and common areas were extremely clean which is always a good sign to me and the room was just as well kept. The sheets even smelled good. (Not that I make a point to smell the bedding before I commit to a room but that's something you can't help noticing and it was very pleasant.) We booked here mostly because of the low price but I would hands down recommend this place for anyone stopping in Hamilton even if it isn't still the cheapest. I'd never seen a hotel hooked to a gas station before but it was clean and quiet and super convenient to get everything we needed to continue on our way the next day. Walking distance to several restaurants if gas station food isn't your thing and also not a far walk to the river. read more

We ended up here when we couldn't find a decent hotel rate in Missoula on a road trip from Texas to Washington. Glad it worked out that way. The manager on duty was extremely gracious (we were tired) and positive. He seemed to know what to say to get us laughing & re-energized. When he found out we'd been on a long road trip, he gave us a free car wash at another one of their business properties in Missoula. The room was huge (double with queens), clean & the beds were comfortable. Glad there was a microwave & fridge in the room too. The free breakfast was decent with hot & cold choices. It was very pleasant; we'll definitely be back on our next annual roadtrip. read more
