Our international flights were cancelled by United due to covid. The airline is offering a full…read morefare refund because they cancelled the flights. I called United and they told me that the tickets were never purchased, I need to get my refund through the agency. TravelExpress refuses to refund our tickets without us paying an "agency fee" of $50 per ticket--for tickets that were never purchased in the first place. I verified these tickets were never purchased through three different calls to United on three different days. She then told me in an email I "have a very skewed view from United" on the tickets. I verified through a former boss (who worked at a travel agency for 5 years) that often times tickets are put "on hold" by agents, and they are allowed to actually pay for these tickets at a later date. Next, she told us our tickets for an in-foreign country flight were not refundable, which a call to that airline also verified that those tickets were indeed refundable, less a $100/tkt fee per fare rules, which we knew of. Travel Express will NOT refund these tickets (less the $100 per tkt), either. She is holding our refunds hostage (for tickets not even purchased yet) for additional money to her travel agency.

They kept calling other flights first despite me being in line. They had 1 person checking regular bags, and helping. People showed up 30 mins before the deadline to check bags and were rushed to the front, unlike others who planned ahead. Sorry but back In the day, if you were late that's on you.

We are sorry for this inconvenience…read more The opening salvo from Delta. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are (soon to be were) Skymiles members. Our recent trip included a late-night flight cancellation, due to the pilot calling in sick and their inability to find a replacement. This info came from the gate attendant. The airline then posted a sign that it was cancelled due to weather. The agent gave us passes for a flight the next morning and said we would get our boarding passes when we arrived. We got there, went to the service (?) counter, where a different agent guaranteed that we would have seats on the flight, that we would get boarding passes at the gate. At the gate, we were told that we were then advised that we were on stand-by status and NOT guaranteed seats. One lie after another. Thanks, Delta, we missed our grandson's birthday party.

The newer terminal is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with big windows that showcase the beautiful Montana mountain views while you wait. TSA has been friendly, quick and efficient, and lines are usually short, which makes the entire security process much less stressful than at larger airports. Getting in and out of the airport is simple - it's only a short drive from town, and wayfinding inside the building is straightforward, with baggage claim and rental cars easy to find. I also appreciate the onsite restaurant and gift shop, which provide enough food and shopping options for a regional airport without feeling overcrowded or hectic. Overall, MSO offers exactly what I want from a regional airport: friendly staff, an updated facility, quick security, and a welcoming first impression of Missoula and Montana. I actually look forward to flying in and out of here again! Thanks for memories! Hope to be back through here again!

Small Airport, Big Hospitality!…read more I flew into Missoula (MSO) for a conference and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and welcoming the experience was. The airport is small, but that's part of the charm--easy to navigate, quick baggage claim, and zero stress getting in and out. Staff were friendly and efficient, and I was out the door and on my way to downtown in just minutes. The views from the terminal windows are a nice touch--classic Montana beauty with mountain backdrops all around. MSO might not be a major hub, but it's clean, calm, and incredibly convenient. Great first impression for anyone visiting Missoula.
