Our AC unit was outdated and after a couple of quotes for repair from some other contractors, we decided we ultimately needed a new unit. We called McCray and Sons on a very rainy Tuesday evening around 7:30pm and Eric McCray came to give us a quote within 20 minutes of our call. He was prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, and honest. He answered all our questions and gave us a couple of different quotes for various options. We made a quick decision on what we wanted and he was back the next day installing the new unit. He worked with his vendors to get us the unit we needed THAT DAY and got our air up and running very quickly. His pricing was more than fair, and he is a very hard worker and a genuine person. If you have any HVAC needs, go with McCray and Sons. They will NOT disappoint.

I called the payment in over the phone. to find out minutes later, the unit was not working from my tenant. The worker did not even have time to leave the premises. They refunded me the money back for the part, they had on. which was not the problem, but charge me for putting it on. The owner would not return my calls. I was out of a large sum of money, since I was unable to get it back from my credit card. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. You must be able to trust a company, and I didnt feel this way after this happen.

Have contacted them twice to get this rectified, and they could not care less. Do not pay them in full until you pass the inspection. After reading they were purchased by Mullin, their lack of customer service now makes sense. Had I known that they were owned by Mullin, I would have called anyone else. I will continue to call every week until we pass inspection. I will have them do the fall check and move on to someone else. The longer it takes them to rectify, the lower their rating will get. When he got here he said no we didnt and we were almost empty on freon, so he filled it up --2 1/2 pounds. Our unit takes 7. Ok, first visit was $207. Our house is 5 years old. The unit is a 2008. $ days later, our ac is frozen up again. Called back. They will be out first thing in the morning to repair the leak. When he came out at 10am, he did not bring with him the proper equipment to repair the leak so he will have to come back next week, but in the meantime he will have to put in the 5 pounds of freon it lost ----it only had 2 1/2 pounds from last week. 5 pounds of freon to leak out over the next week at $50 a pound. $250 plus $207 for him to not fix the leak. And when he comes out next week it will take him hours to fix. And then more freon. All of this will end up costing over $1000 for a job to be dragged out that should have been fixed immediately. And he told us upfront there was a leak, ac is a sealed unit so your refrigerant should never need recharged unless there is a leak--his words. This is a scam 110%.

Best Service Ever. I found this company here when my Mothers Washing Machine broke down. My mother…read moreis 88 years old and is on a limited income. I filled out a form online to schedule service which was the first thing that attracted them to me because i had already made several calls to other repair companies and they either didnt answer or they told me they couldnt help for several days or they were just too expensive to get them to come out. Jorken Services replied to me within 10 minutes of me filling out the form online. I had explained my mothers situation to them in my original request telling them about my mothers financial state and the urgency of the call. I first recieved an email from them saying that a technician had already been assigned and would be calling me shortly. Before I even finished reading the email, the technician was calling me. He already knew what was needed and said that he was told to do his best to keep costs to a minimum. I had originally set it up when I filled out the formfor the following monday but he was willing to come straight out. All up it was less than an hour between my initial email to them and the time the technician arrived at my Mothers house. He took a look at it, told my mother that it was nothing serious and that he could fix it on the spot for just the service call charge. He had the machine fixed in a jiffy and then even changed out the filters in her furnace for my mother as well. He then sat down with my mother and explained to her all he had done and gave her information and tips on her oven and even tightened up a fitting on her disposal under the sink that had been leaking for ever. All this and all he charged was a minimal service call. This company is a credit to its industry where so many now just seem to want to rip the elderly off this company bought a little sunshine back into my mothers day as well as giving me a feeling of comfort that if my mother had any other issues with her appliances or her heater or ac that I can now call someone that knows how to treat people. I asked him to arrive after 2pm since I would be away until then. Surprisingly, when I arrived home at 2pm, my A/C was working. I checked my texts and found out that Steve had come to my house at 11:30am and fixed my A/C. He said he felt bad the other vendor had not been responsive and that we had been without A/C for so long. What a great guy!
