Sure enough, Claude and his son came over and got me in working order. They were prompt, talked me through what was going on, and have a good warranty on the product. The work was performed without the required permit being pulled, which created concerns about whether the installation was properly inspected and code-compliant. I expected the company to handle the permitting process as part of the job, but that did not happen. They are not pulling permits!! I recommend that anyone considering this company verify the contractor's license and independently confirm that all required permits have been obtained before allowing work to begin. In SC heating and air-conditioning contractors are regulated by the state, and certain HVAC installations and repairs may require permits and inspection.

BEWARE: Our experience with Fix It 24/7 continues to be a complete nightmare…read more Update as of 08/31: We received a call from general manager, Michael Current. In addition to raising his voice at me, Michael did not inform us of an internal investigation nor did he address the fraudulent signatures and inadequate ceiling repair. Since writing the initial review and this update, we had another company inspect our system. They found Fix It 24/7 did not complete the work we hired them to do initially, leaving multiple duct lines untouched, and improperly installing the duct lines they did attend to. Michael told us this company's findings were incorrect, and only offered to send additional technicians from Fix It 24/7 out for a third time to fix work they have repeatedly presented as completed. He hung up the phone after seemingly growing frustrated. Fix It 24/7 seems to have been untruthful at worst or negligent at best. This is not acceptable. We are still awaiting Fix It 24/7 to make this right.
