Moreover the clothes seem to come back without that over-powering dry-cleaning smell, and for some reason feel cleaner than they usually do. They operate an electronic registration system so there's minimal chance of your laundry getting mixed up or confused and the staff there are pleasant and efficient. Since the time I dropped in a silk dress which had had coke spilled all over it and then was left in a heap for a week (so the stain could really take hold) before I dropped it to the cleaners, and they returned it to me practically sparkling, I've been committed to using this cleaner!

And for me it's also just 2 minutes down the road. The prices are reasonable the owner is a really hard working guy, with a lot of customers, and I like to support the local businesses as well. It would make sense to give in, Kleen Well is on the same street as a few other services, and it's just a few doors away from that massive EuroSpar and Insomnia Coffee house... always a good excuse to camp out with a cappuccino. It looks busy as well; the long racks behind the counter are stuffed with plastic draped clothes. But... it all comes down to price for me. When dropping in a grey wool suit for dry cleaning the owner promised it would be ready after 2 the next day, which was fine. Then came the cost: €15, a whole €3 more than what I usually pay for next-day service in town. Sorry Kleen Well, maybe next time.

Anyone who isn't a perfect average off-the-rack size and shape knows my pain... I have spent YEARS looking for a great tailor who doesn't charge excessive prices. Almost every item of clothing I buy could benefit from a bit of a nip/tuck. Veronica, who works the shop, is amazing. AI brought in a blazer that needed a bit of taking in.... she expertly pinned in 6 different slits, had it ready for me in 2 days, and the total cost was a very reasonable €12. It fit perfectly! They have a sister shop down the road at the Superquinn Shopping Centre, but Veronica handles all the alterations for both shops, so go straight to her to get your measurements done properly!
