I found this place by searching for a laundry mat online, near my hotel. It had great reviews and customers said they were fast. Well, I dropped off my huge bag of dirty laundry at 18:00 and he said it would be ready in a few hours. Amazing!!! I couldn't go back before he closed, but I picked it up at 8:00 the next morning. Everything was folded so nice. Something that also impressed me is that I left €20 in my dirty pants pocket and he left it in the bag of laundry. Very honest and very appreciated! They did a wonderful job on my laundry. After months of European home laundry units I felt like I wasn't getting the smells out of my clothes and was happy to discover their machines did. Great service in Dublin for laundry. Staff here is very friendly. We pack light on our trips and the ability to do laundry is a must. They are quick and do a great job. I do caution if you are sensitive to fragrances to let the staff know. Our clothes smelled great but was a little strong. Let them air out a bit and was just fine. I love this place! I had never visited a laundromat before but I was having trouble washing my clothes at the place I'm staying and decided to try my luck here. IMMEDIATELY, everyone was so nice and friendly and listened thoroughly to the specific instructions I gave for washing each item of my clothing. They looked incredibly busy, so I was really surprised when the man at the desk said to come back in a few hours to pick it up. I would have been happy with anything but they were so quick and separate your clothes for you. They gave them back nicely folded and tightly packed in a bag for me to carry. Good prices too. We relocated to Dublin for my husband's work. The moving company hired by the relocation company did a pretty terrible job packing our stuff. My nice clothes were shoved in a box, instead of laid flat, and they arrived in terrible condition - all wrinkled and stained. The moving company paid to have everything dry cleaned. I did some research and found Temple Bar Laundry. They are not the closest place to our house, but I am so glad we used them. Their service is incredible, and I was so impressed with the condition of my clothes when I picked them up. I went in and showed them all the stains beforehand, and I think they removed every single one. I'm so impressed, and I cannot recommend them more highly. The prices are also so much better than they were in Austin. Note that they do not take credit card. read more

Fantastic service at this centrally-located laundry, which I suspect is a reasonable walk from almost anywhere in central/touristy Dublin. It was worth the ten minute walk each way for us. We needed a quick turnaround on our wash/dry/fold service due to travel constraints, and our laundry was ready exactly on time. we had been using this laundry for a while, and it was great - excellent customer service and quick turnaround. This is until we had a big load of clothing that needed cleaning and whether there was a misunderstanding on their side or our instructions weren't clear enough, a lot of the clothing shrank considerably or got otherwise ruined, and unfortunately it was a lot of designer items that are now useless for us. As my colleague informed them of the issues, she was called "a liar" and "a bitch" among other things. The owner(?) completely lost it. It's a good laundry until it isn't. They definitely won't take your complaints well so unless you want to be called names, better cut your losses and move on. read more

I was in Dublin for a little over a week before i was headed to New York for 4 days. This place is the best!! I was worried about not being able to find a place that allowed me to leave my clothes with them/same-day service. I dropped off 2 grocery bags full of clothes at 11:30am and got them back around 5pm. It gave me the perfect amount of time to still see the city and do the things I had on my agenda. They are the nicest people, too. I accidentally left my Ray-Bans there and they remembered they were mine when i went to pick up my clothes. Best service. Best people. And my clothes are so fresh and clean. I even had a sweater than needed to be washed by itself and hung-- I was a little nervous about that one but it looks better than when i do it at home. Dropped of my laundry after about a week and a half without having a chance to wash it. Had enough clothes to fill a carry on suitcase. Cost was 17 euros which seemed a lot at first (I was using laundromats earlier in my trip) but it was so worth it! Why was it so worth it? 1. Didn't have to sit "guarding" my clothes for over two hours at a laundromat. 2. Clothes came back smelling so good (or maybe I just forgot what clean clothes smelled like) 3. Clothes were folded and organized and delicates were in a separate bag 4. They even paired my socks for me! (I don't even do that for myself) Finally, I forgot about some euros in one of my pockets, it was only 3 euro in change, but they could have easily taken it without me noticing, but didn't. After a week in Dublin with two more weeks of traveling to go, we knew we needed to have some laundry done, and Temple Bar Laundry was around the corner from our hotel. We dropped off a full load of laundry, and had it back freshly dried (even with some stains removed from a dinner out!) within the day. What I really liked was the fact that they were so careful with our clothes! I normally don't dry anything, but they carefully went through and checked labels to make sure that low heat would be OK. There was one item they were concerned about, so they let it hang dry and it was nearly dry by the time we returned to pick everything up. Getting ready to move on to the second leg of our trip and needed clean clothes. Based upon other reviews we dropped our clothes off, informed the very pleasant woman that my black jeans were new and may bleed into our other clothes. She then had me remove the jeans (to be washed separately) so they would not mess up my other clothes, informed me that they dry on low heat, and told me they would be ready within 2 hours. Which made me regret not bringing my sweaters because I was worried they would shrink. We proceeded to enjoy our day, returning after 2 hours to washed, dried and folded clothes. Was recommended this place by are nearby Hotel, and desperate for clean clothes. We were greeted by the friendly staff and I presume owner. Whilel we were hoping to do the laundry ourselves like a laundromat in the US of, we were relieved to comfortably drop off are garments and pick them up in the morning. He said that they usually take a couple of hours to do a load and their rates were pretty reasonable (€14 was whatvwe paid). This is a great option in the area if you don't have time to do the laundry yourself and it comes back folded and ready for luggage. read more

This place is great! On week 2 of a trip and needed clean clothes. This place was two blocks from the Westin and real simple. Bring your clothes in a bag, they weigh it, tell you how much it is and a couple hours later you come back and get a bag back with clean and somewhat folded clothes! It was that easy. I had 7 days worth of clothes in one bag and it came out to 11 euros. My hotel service charges 11 euros for one pair of jeans! One note, they will wash all of your clothes in one load unless you specify otherwise, not sure how much extra a separate wash would be. read more

We misjudged our weight, so he waited while one of us went back to get the rest. Then he undercharged us when our load went over.
