I have tried out possibly every carpet, rug, furniture etc. cleaning company in the Michigan City area and surrounding areas. Quality Carpet has by far got them beat! Not only is the service always 100% top notch but their pricing can not be beat especially for the quality of work that is performed. I manage multiple homes for Vacation Rentals that are rented out weekly in the summer season so you can imagine the traffic going in and out of the homes along with a very short period of turn over time to get the home cleaned. The other company's I have used in the past have not been as prompt or reliable as Quality Carpet along with getting the job done satisfactory. Recently i had my own disaster at my personal home and called Ron the owner of Quality Carpet at 7am. frantically because my young child who was sick had soiled my new couch that happened to be a very light cream color and I could not get the stain out myself! Ron, came to my home within minutes to pick up the cushion and start the cleaning process ASAP. Most company's would have had me wait for an appointment and then done the service in house. When the stain did not come out which it wouldn't have they would call it a day. Quality Carpet held onto my cushion until he was able to get it back to perfect condition. He kept me up to date with progress and the different type of solutions he was trying before throwing in the towel. A few days later Ron, showed up with my cushion looking like new! I am appalled to learn that three of my young, teenage cousins were the victims of racial insensitivity while working for Quality Carpet Care in Michigan City/Trail Creek this summer. Their boss and owner of the company, Ron Papke, had the audacity to address them as "my nigga" countless times on top of making racist/insensitive jokes both in person and sending them links to various YouTube clips containing racist content. To add insult to injury, he forced one of them to pose next to a Lawn Jockey (as pictured below). The oldest of the three had the bravery to speak up and address Ron for his actions and ultimately end their employment with a text message. Ron's response did not even acknowledge his wrongdoing nor did he have the decency to apologize for his offenses. He must be held accountable for his actions‼I would not be who I am to those three young men, if I sat back and allowed him to go unchallenged. After out basement remodel, I tried every carpet cleaner solution out there along with several different carpet cleaning vacuums and nothing could get the stains out of my carpet. They were embarrassing, my carpet always looked dirty. I was talking to a friend about it when she told me about how QCC came and made her carpet look like new again and they cleaned her tile and grout. I had priced out a couple other local companies and couldn't get myself to pay that kind of money considering I didn't have much hope that they could get the stains out. I'm so happy I called QCC. Not only did they work me into their schedule right away, but they were very professional and brought in the big guns! After having another company call and cancel my appointment 10 minutes before my scheduled time, I called Quality Carpet Care in a panic. I already had my livingroom completely emptied and needed someone to come out that exact day. I talked to Ron on the phone who assured me someone would be out that same day to clean both my couches and my livingroom carpet. Tyler was my service tech and i can not brag enough how amazing he was. My couches and carpet (which were, what i thought to be, beyond saving) look brand new again. His customer service was above and beyond. Although he is young, he knows what hes doing. He was very polite, informative, and even taught me a few tips and tricks for emergency spills or stains. I cant thank Ron & Tyler enough for the outstanding job and awesome prices. QCC provided a level of service that i often fear doesn't even exist anywhere anymore. My first impression was the friendliness and flexibility in scheduling - reinforced with how they handled a last minute re-scheduling of our duct cleaning due to a family emergency. It continued when Erika called me the morning of our appointment and asked if she could bring me a cup of coffee. When Erika and Jaden arrived - which was right on time - they were courteous , professional and personable, and very matter-of-fact. Proceeded to tackle the job with diligence, care, efficiency, thoroughness -- and demonstrated that despite their youth they really know what they're doing. I highly recommend the QCC Team. We woke up in the morning with a basement filled with water. We needed someone and we needed them fast in order to save the flooring. We spoke to the owner Ron directly. he assured us that his crew would be right out and not to worry, they would handle it. The team called when they were in route to us and even offered to bring us coffee. What a nice touch!! They arrived within the time frame that was stated to us, set up the equipment that we needed, and the dry out process began. The guys were very professional and knowledgeable. I have to say, they went over and above in the services they provided us. I've used QCC for carpet cleaning in the past, and recently for drying out the sill plates and walls in my basement. they also did some mold remediation. Excellent work! QCC is always on time, and they really go the extra mile. Ron and Nate actually saved me a lot of headaches and future illness by telling me that my basement needed more than a carpet cleaning. in fact, after they tested the walls for moisture, they informed me that I needed to throw the carpet out, and remove 2' of drywall from the floor up, and they were 100% correct. Black mold had started growing behind the drywall everywhere they told me it would be. They sprayed the affected areas with an anti microbial, brought in dryers and a commercial grade dehumidifier, and left it for a couple of weeks. All is good now, and they have a customer for life. The service is Top Notch! We had our ducts cleaned, that we knew were dirty but the team showed us before and after picts... Man we were so glad we called them to come after seeing how dirty they really were! The told us the we would notice how much better the air quality was going to be in the house. WOW, I noticed it the next morning, but 2 days later and yes even now it's just amazing, the freshness inthe air , or no smell when you first walk in house! We called QCC Monday morning November 8th because our dryer vent/ductwork desperately needed a professional cleaning, not only was this business able to come out the same day literally within hours of my call they were also able to drive to Menards in Valparaiso and get a proper connection from the dryer to the wall vent as the one installed by someone else was not the proper one. Sam and Jerry were simply amazing ! They were so nice and they really did an amazing job in making sure the ductwork and vent was completely cleared of the blockage. Our dryer is now working better than it ever did before and we will be using QCC twice a year from now on to have them come out and clean our vents. Had Qcc out to my house to clean my vents. I contacted Qcc via Facebook and the owner Ron got back to me within 5 minutes to schedule my free estimate. They day of your appointment they call ahead to let you know precisely when the team will be arriving. The showed up with a Fresh Hot cup of coffee and a smile and made me feel really comfortable. I dont really like having workers in my house but Qcc was the exception. Ashton and Sam were very kind and friendly to me and took the time to explain exactly what they would be doing while in my home. Ron is a racist who forces his POC employees to watch racist YouTube videos and stand next to racist statues and take pictures of them posing the same way as said statue. Said the N word in front of his black employees, sent them racist youtube videos, and treated them like animals. My boyfriend worked for them for a short time (my bf is mixed) because Ron fired him over text and gave him no reason at all to why he fired him. He also said the N word multiple times in front of my black boyfriend, he also refused to delete pictures of my boyfriend off of his Facebook until we sent a legal letter requesting it. QCC and the team are true miracle workers! We had them come out and clean carpets on a new home we just purchased. The previous owners hid really big dark stains under rugs and they were able to get the carpets looking like new again!! When they arrived they noticed the dryer vent had a bunch of lent coming out all over the ground and suggested they clean that out as well to prevent a fire. The team even called when they were on they were on their way and offered to pick me up a cup of coffee! Great customer service, affordable prices, and AMAZING results! Ron and his excellent team always provide top notch, prompt, friendly service! We not only had our carpet cleaned after a flood, but they also dried out our basement prior to that. It was so well worth the money to do business with them. We could never have gotten the basement dried out and the carpet cleaned as well as they did! Found them via their van advertising and immediately called and the owner Ron answered. He was able to schedule me immediately by providing a variety of availability windows. On service day, Ron called in advance to ensure I was ready and if I needed anything. He took the time to evaluate the house, looking for indications of stains, etc. He ensured the doors were covered while working to eliminate insects from entering. I just want to thank QCC for our recent power washing experience. They were on time, polite, offered to bring me coffee and they did a great job. Our concrete looks brand new even though it's over 60 years old. They moved a lot of patio furniture and were conscientious about the water overflow into the gardens.
