Been here twice , second time just last week. I have some work nearby and one of the guy's I work with lives close to this place.
The staff remembered me from our first visit about 6 months ago. Thats a very good start !
The restaurant is very nice inside with a good layout mixture of booths in the window and standard table\chairs for the remaining space. They do have another room upstairs but being a weekday visitor only we have never ventured up there.
As usual for Indian places a small bar area just as you walk in. I always prefer to have a couple of beers ( kingfisher on tap ) and check out the menu.
Started with papads and dips - ok standard stuff.
Dhall soup for me - its not on the menu but they didnt mind doing me some ( they just needed to blitz some Dhall anyhow ) and Chicked Tikka for my mate. I enjoyed the soup and the tikka was given good marks too.
Mains of Chicken Ceylon and Lamb Curry ( it was a house special and the name eludes me !)
2 Rice , 1 Naan , 1 Paratha , 1 Bombay Aloo , 1 Dhall Makahani
4 Beers
4 Large Amaretos
4 Irish Coffees
Everything gets top marks from us both , quality , service , quantity and although on expenses the cost at £116.00 wasnt bad either.
If you find yourself in this area then you will be fine at the Qmin !
ps , probably best to give the pub directly opposite a miss - Its called the Antelope and was a terrible dump read more
