I was thinking of getting multiple drinks at this location but I didn't really love it and service wasn't too good to be honest. A little bit aloof and all over the place. The drink was okay but I didn't get through much of it. The milk tea has a little bit of a weird taste - I wanted to get a fruit tea but I was a little bit caught in two minds, so I might try one of those next time I'm in the area. The decor is really nice and definitely the best in town. There are lovely big bears on the floor and it's just a very well put together a little shop and super nice. I just wish the milk tea blew me away a little bit more so that I could give five stars. Still, I definitely enjoyed my visit here and it was excellent inventive Decor - but the service was nonchalant and lacking and not particularly interested and they were very quiet for the whole time so I was a little worried about their lack of business. Still - I'm happy that they were open when I was here, drinks and service definitely scores 4 stars. There's not a lot of great boba in St. Catharines so it's definitely a pretty decent standard. If it was in Toronto it might score less. One thing though. I thought Mr T worked for the A-Team. What do I know.

The drinks came out very quickly. I got a black milk tea and it honestly wasn't my favorite. We ordered the papaya salad, vermicelli combo, and the beef pho combo. The papaya salad was extremely disappointing. It wasn't quite Thai style and it wasn't quite Vietnamese style. It was a blend of the two and turned out sweet and nutty. It was misssing a lot of the elements that made papaya salad normally so satisfying and refreshing. There was no sour, no savory, and no kick at all. The vermicelli salad was not good at either. All of the meats were overcooked and lacked any flavor. The shrimp in particular was rubbery and barely paletable. The egg roll tasted like cheap Chinese restaurant eggroll. They also left the eggroll whole so I had to rip it to pieces by hand. The dressing was very mild and did not bring out any other flavors in the dish. Instead, it watered down any flavors that may have been there. A dash of strong fish sauce could have made the dish do-able, but when I asked for some, they brought out more of the weak dressing that the dish came with. The only saving grace was the pho. It wasn't top notch but the broth was a good mix of herbal and beefy and hit the spot. If you come here, just get the pho and save yourself the heartache and disappointment. My wife was so disappointed that after we left, I ordered papaya salad from Mandalay Restaurant down the road so she can get her papaya fix. To the restaurant, you guys have such a nice spot. Fall in love with your food again and bring forth some bold and authentic flavors. It's easy to get complacent when you are one of a few spots that have this type of food. You are unique enough to stand out in Buffalo, New York, but these dishes and flavors won't fly anywhere else. I know you are better than this.

Walking in, the place is cutely decorated with a few stools for seating in a counter area. For ordering, you self-order on an iPad. They offer a few types of milk or fruit tea (not a very large variety) and two snack food choices. Unfortunately the iPad ordering doesn't let you customize the sweetness level so the Korean coffee drink I ordered was much too sweet for my taste, so much so that I couldn't really finish the drink. We also ordered the popcorn chicken with sauce (extra 0.99 cents for the sauce) which unfortunately tasted like air fryer burnt dry mystery meat that was pretty much inedible. The container for the bubble tea was cute and insta-worthy, however the lack of being able to customize the sugar level and the poor food likely won't have me coming back.
