Multiple guests just got up and left because of lack of service, even the waiter came back around four times after they were asked for the checks and did not deliver them. Overcharged me as well and had to ask for another bill, which resulted in a three hour solo dinner which should have been 45. Bummer all around. Also the staff argued with me when I asked for a two top outside out of the sun and insisted on keeping four tops open, of which no one came. Vox needs to learn better customer service :(

The interior of the restaurant is simplistic but also grounded in woody/home-y vibes, which makes it welcoming. Not to be dramatic but I had some of the best sashimi ever here (otoro, chutoro, akami and yellowtail - even though I don't normally like yellowtail). The dishes were carefully assembled and plated, and the servers were very attentive the entire meal. Some dishes stood out more than others, and the ones that were most memorable, I've attached pictures of. I can't remember exactly what was in the dish but the one in the blue bowl included eggplant and changed flavors as I ate it, which was a nice, unexpected surprise.
